As usual, you misrepresent what the NRA/Russia connection was.

Blade_Runner wrote:
There are 80 million of us out here who keep and bear arms, 5.5 million are members of NRA, I'm not one of them.

The NRA/Russia connection was pretty simple. The leader of a pro-gun movement in Russia got in touch with leaders of the NRA to get some ideas on how to progress.

If their is a bunch of crap behind in the leadership, it needs to be cleared up and cleaned up. NOW. But I'm still behind the NRA for being in the forefront in fighting to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. As should all real Americans.

Let me see if I understand you. No one can be a “real American “ if they don’t support YOUR INTERPRETATION of 2nd Amendment rights.

NRA members, what do you think about recent revelations concerning where your dues go ? Is it OK with you that NRA's president spends huge amounts on clothing, his wife's hairdressers, luxury hotels, and travel expenses, and that this money comes out of membership dues? The NRS is a corrupt organization. I am wondering what we're going to learn about NRA-Russia connections. We will see what we will see.

That’s quite a statement that none of the “climate crowd practices what they preach.” You must know everyone.

The climate has been changing for 144 million years. Cool cycles, warm cycles, slow cycles, fast cycles. A scientist wrote a paper that was fascinating about c*****e c****e.

On a 24 hour clock face, comparing the earths age and time to a clock, humans may have been here a little less than 4 minutes. Technology and the internal combustion engine came into the picture about 5 seconds ago. Seriously, not enough TIME to affect the planet.

BTW, Al Gore just got outed for using as much electricity in one year as the normal household uses in 21 years. So, the biggest liar on the planet about c*****e c****e uses more electricity than you do by 21 fold. NONE of the climate crowd practices what they preach. So watch out for who you want to believe.

Try this, : Al Gore Exposed - Rpt: Climate Warrior uses more electricity than most - Tucker Carlson

And in a final note, don't forget that all his c*****e c****e hoopla, Al Gore has made over $300 million $$$ off of unsuspecting fools that are dumb enough to listen to him.

Likely it is true, but the alarmists exaggerate. Regardless, China is the leading CO2 producer, and India is catching up. China has 65% of the world's coal burning capacity, the US 15%. Even if we stop producing all OUR CO2 it will not greatly affect the future.

We can try to:
1. Accommodate- prepare for flooding, move inland, build d**es
2. Directly engineer the climate - Try inserting material to create reflective clouds in the atmosphere.
3. Try to sop up the CO2. One proposal is to dump iron in the ocean to stimulate algae growth.
4. Cry and wail. It will do almost as much good as reducing our carbon emission will.

Liberals will usually oppose any solution that does not involve pain. This is a religion to them, and if you don't agree with their solution you are blasphemous.

You are certainly wrong in your characterization of what liberals "always" propose.

If you say that those who believe c*****e c****e is real, serious, and man-made, there is no obligation for those who maintain this to come up with a definitive solution. You must first recognize the danger, and then you and/or many others can work for a solution.

All right, then I'll respond. The evidence is that C*****e C****e is virtually all natural and normal and following cycles of climate going back hundreds of thousands of years. Despite all of the disproved evidence you can dig up or dream up. The overwhelming evidence is that it is nearing a peak in normal cycles and will then turn colder. The overwhelming evidence is that we are coming out of an ice age for a couple of hundred years. Warming is what happens when you come out of an ice age. Got it now.

Let me go on. The CO2 and methane in the atmosphere is a normal occurrence with warming and it doesn't cause it but follows it. This is proven by ice cores drilled miles into the Antarctic ice and going back hundreds of thousands of years.

It is all a part of the earth going through cycles as it rejuvenates itself and the land and the oceans. Yes, some lands will dry up and others, especially in the far north will become fertile again. The evidence is there in fossils and such throughout the north.

All predictions by c*****e c****e fanatics have proven false or way over estimated or predicted. There is still ice in the Arctic Ocean. Hurricanes since 2000 have been less then predicted.

It is getting weary correcting you fanatics, but still fun.
All right, then I'll respond. The evidence is that... (show quote)

You must be enjoying being misinformed and wrong. You miss the point that even if this has happened before (and it has for other reasons), man was not around and did not suffer from c*****e c****e. I don't care what happened to prehistoric animals. I care about what is happening and going to happen to people living here and now.

By the way, the arctic is melting at a rate previously unheard of. The amount of ice in the Arctic Ocean is rapidly diminishing.

You are wrong about the fact that methane comes after c*****e c****e. Methane is one of the primary causes of c*****e c****e, along with CO2.

I think you are just misinformed, not stupid.

It isn't so much that they were c*****e c****e deniers. The problem is with the Climate Accords that penalize us and ignore the developing countries. And also how the eco-f*****ts want to control our freedom and liberty. Much more complicated than this but I'm not going to get into all of this again. It has been addressed ad infinitum in previous threads. The question has always been what do we do about it?

Since many of the countries contributing to c*****e c****e are impoverished, they aren't going to be able to take many or even most of the actions needed to stop or slow c*****e c****e in proportion to their population. That's just a fact. And you and your children and their children are going to have to live with the situation. Isn't it self-interest on our part to help poor countries solve the problem ?

Hurricanes! I'm tired of our taxes going to subsidize National Flood Insurance so that people can rebuild in these areas after a storm destroys things. It's still stupid to build there in the first place. If people want to built there they should assume all the risks.

It might be a good idea, ince an area has been hit by flooding, for the government simply to refuse to subsidize any building in the same area.

You would prefer to have Miami and a lot of other cities just sink beneath the waves? That's going to cost a lot more than taking preventative steps to diminish or stop c*****e c****e now.

Then why don't you go investigate the reasons the climate is changing? There is no other reason the climate is changiung significantly (SIGNIFICANTLY) than man-made activity.

Iam wondering if any of our past c*****e c****e deniers are coming around to finally believing that c*****e c****ed is real, is dangerous to mankind, and is caused largely by man's activities that put increased amounts of carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere.

I am particularly wondering if our denier-in-chief, Blade-Runner, is finally coming around, or if he is just as oblivious to the overwhelmong scientific evidence as he always has been.

C*****e c****e is real. Unless measures are taken to halt it or slow it down, you, your children and your grand children are going to have to suffer its results.

Got any feelings about this ?

As usual. BladeRunner, you spout glib nonsense [

quote=Blade_Runner]They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
Psalm 107: 23-24

As magnificent as God's physical creation is, as much as we enjoy it, and as often as we thank Him for it, the greatest evidence is in our transcendent and personal relationship with Him. This is what He wants.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Psalm 8: 3-5

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Acts 17: 24-28[/quote]

"Basic biology" ? You know so little about this subject that you are even unaware of whast science you should be looking into to undersxtand what is going on with climate. Chemistry and physics, eagleye. Chemistry and physics.

I have written in detail on that many times.

Going after CO2 is the epitome of BS.
