There is no doubt that the Republicans would all v**e to put it on the panel if it supported their agenda. The question itself let's me know who asks it. Republicans know they would, so they expect that democrats would. Parents are the most likely to be biased. If they advocated not teaching part of history because they don't like it, then the curriculum IS biased. And you should look into the actual reason the north went to war with the south. It was industrialist versus agrarian philosophy of the two parties. I couldn't agree more. By being on OPP they are doing something that our chosen leaders on both sides are not doing by addressing the issues at hand in order that they can understand each other. I wish it could be done in a less ascerbic way at times, but discussing the issues is at least a starting point. If only the members of congress could put aside their differences and really consider the other side's concerns, then maybe they could actually get something done. So I reiterate.
