Pete, the choice is YOURS to make! You can choose to follow God or you can chose to follow the path of the unrighteous. One path leads to a glorious end, the other to an eternity of suffering. The choice is yours to make!!! If you donot choose God, before you die, then you'll spend eternity in hell because God you the chance to chose.

Based on what I've read, that you have written, I suspect your group is expecting a "firefight" with US armed forces. That would amount to treason against the US.
If I'm correct, I suggest another plan that doesn't involve weapons would be more appropriate.

If you donot believe in the Rapture, then when did the 70th week of Daniel chapter 9 occur? If you study the 70 weeks of Daniel you will see that the 69th week takes you thru Christ's crucifixion. The 70th week has not taken place yet as of today.
If you look at Dan. 9 starting at verse 25, through the end of the chapter, it speaks of 70 weeks of judgement determined upon the Jewish nation. The word t***slated "weeks" in this prophesy is a period of 7 years for each week.
Note verse 26 states "after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off". The 69th week ended with the crusifiction of Christ on the cross. Verse 36 continues with "the prince that shall come". Picking up in verse 27 and he (the prince) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (the 70th week).
That 70th week is the 7years of tribulation preceding the Lord's return.
This is explained in Dwight's book Things to Come. Number of years ago I read an article on the subject. At the end of the article it listed several other books the author recommended on the subject. He recommended Things to Come as the first book, and while I donot remember the second book I believe it was "Revelation" by Rene Showers (available from FOI.ORG). I have both books and recommend both. I beleive Rene Showers book to be the cheaper of the two.
I donot know what Bible you use, but I hope it is a "study bible" with references and foot notes.
