You have quite evidently never studied history or read the book, "The Rise and Fall of The Roman Empire". If you want a true perspective of how our great Country is being systematically destroyed, might I suggest you acquire a copy and read it. If you are unable to afford it, check it out from your local library. It is quite illuminating. Another fine book to read, if you care to is Ayn Rands "Atlas Shrugged" While it is fictional, it is a blueprint of the destruction of our Country. You will probably poo-poo it because it was written (about 50 years ago) by what would be described in today's parlance as a Conservative. However, she lived some of it in her native Russia before emigrating to the United States, where she found the freedom she sought.

Rome fell for a multitude of reasons , one the governance of the empire was cumbersome (the reason it split in two) , the Empire depended on conquest for it's economic viability and when expansion stopped the Empire started to stagnate all of the other reasons are just symptomatic of those reasons, I have read a lot of history but unlike you I learned from what I read

Oh, he doesn't bow to socialism. That would take the attention away from him - he is a major narcissist, and ANY AND ALL philosophies and organizations are far, far beneath him. He only does as he and his handlers plan. The goal, in my view, isn't socialism as much as it is total destruction of the greatest nation on earth to assuage someone's disappointment over its success. I know you and babawa walters think he is the Messiah, but he isn't. He's a mentally and psychologically flawed human who has never known normality.

so you know I think he is the Messiah , take off your tinfoil hat I never said that , he is blocking the conservative agenda so that we will have a chance at a better country and a better life

Here is a video that just about covers the things that the Obamas have done so very wrong and really tells the t***h about why we can't impeach him at the end.

the reason Obama hasn't been impeached is because he hasn't done anything to be impeached for and delusional rhetoric isn't substantial enough to warrant charges

Do democrats even open their eyes and see what is being wrought? I think not. This " Obamacare" is a sham. You don't see this is about control? It's not about healthcare. We are being sold a pile of crap. This president is a socialist. he will live well, to be sure.....But we will not. It is by design. The free people of this great country know a phony when they see it and get up off their collective asses and do something to make real change. Government is not the solution. It is the problem. Obama is the epitome of the wrong way to go. God forbid we see the likes of Hillary Clinton disgracing the country..Hasn't she done enough damage?
Change takes time. But, there always has to be a starting point.
If you want to change all things, all you have is confusion. Forget the platitudes. The founders of this country had it right. Why are there 72,000 pages of tax code? Start there. For every law proposed, take two off the books. Term limits for senators. That is where corruption lies...We are going the way of Rome. History does repeat.
Do democrats even open their eyes and see what is ... (show quote)

one of two things are true one if you think Obama is a socialist you don't understand socialism , two if he is a socialist he has to be the worst one in history as he has violated most of the tenants of socialism , so which is it
The tax code is a compilation of changes wrought by our government since tax laws were enacted .
We are not going the way of Rome , that is just rhetorical fluff .

Wrong they also submitted a bill to delay ACA for one year. Also rejected by Obama

that was a default fall back strategy they knew would fail , bad strategy and dumb tactics on the part of the republicans are not the fault of the democrats but just themselves

I suspect that those of you who defend obamacare and the president do so because you want the free healthcare.

Will you ever wake up to the reality that their won't be any free healthcare? There will only be less healthcare, and inferior healthcare, and rationed healthcare.

Republicans weren't trying to deny you free healthcare, they were trying to spare you the suffering coming with less healthcare, inferior healthcare, rationed healthcare, and paying more for less healthcare.

at best you are blind to the t***h , what free health care , people will pay for their health care (they get health care insurance through exchanges and then pay for it , get your facts straight,)
and it set up standards for minimal health care which has caused junk insurance to wither away , and now the 44 million who are able to access the health care system have some hope of doing so , or did the conservatives just consider them collateral victims , and since they weren't going to v**e republican were unnecessary to help anyway

The government needed to be shut down - and a compromise from the President regarding the individual mandate would have prevented it (and it will yet prove necessary to delay it), nobody threatened to renege on the national debt and the allegation shows a lack of intellectual honesty, and the Democrats decided to oppose Bush before he was inaugerated and claimed he was unelected (guess that's because he was white) -

Overall, a one sided, misleading and dishonest set of false comments.

they were not asking for compromise from the president but capitulation , the defunding of the ACA had no business in the bill in the first place it should have been treated separately , it was just a failed strategy on the part of the republicans , the republicans thought they could run over the president and failed

The Tea Baggers have done enormous harm to the Republican Party's chances of having a strong voice in our government for at least the next e******n or two. Given the antics of the Republicans to impede Obama's efforts, they deserve the downfall they are in the midst of.

it isn't the harm they have done to themselves that I am concerned about it is the damage they are doing to the process of governance and the country in general
