V**er suppression didn’t work, v**er purge didn’t work, closing polls in minority districts didn’t work, eliminating Sunday v****g didn’t work.

Now it has changed the law where the Secretary of state in these h**e filled r****t states can overturn the will of the people and just claim v***r f***d and hand the e******n to the looser.

Donald Trump who is the biggest s**m artist in this country have convinced a bunch of ignorant h**e filled r****t that he got c***ted and to date not one shred of evidence of proof. (BUT THE BIG LIE CONTINUES)

This is how you tear down a democracy and bring a free country into a dictatorship. Putin could not bring this country down through any military action and by using an i***t like Trump he tore this country down and now e******ns don’t matter.

But one thing that should concern these h**e filled southern r****t is how Trump just ignored congress and refused to turn over documents that congress had a constitutional right to obtain to perform our system of checks and balances. Totally ignored over 4 years hundreds of subpoenas to testify at committee meetings or any congressional investigation.

The only people at this time that can save our democracy are the republicans in Congress have to stand up and defy these h**e filled r****t and these right wing terrorist groups in this country such as the KKK, O**h K****rs, P***d b**s, white Supremest, white nationalist. These people want another civil war in this country and Trump is there leader.

But Proud Republican is the typical Trump supporter if you don’t like what is being said just shut them off. But if you ever tried to stop her of her freedom of speech she would be screaming from the hills how you stopped her constitutional right to Freedom of speech.

The only exercise this country has to hold our elected officials accountable is our (V**E) and the Republican Party along with conspiracy theories, v***r f***d with no evidence, are taking away our v**e and that’s how you tear a 233 year old document that did make this country great and throw it in the trash.

At the age of 14 this kid declared that he was going to shoot up a school when he turned 18. He was evaluated and apparently treated for mental disease and released. His recoord was seals and thus when he was background checked, this didn't come up and he was allowed to buy his guns.

I agree then, if there is a law to seal the records of a mentally ill person and their history of declaring the intent of shooting up a school, then the law makers are at fault. Had that not been sealed, he would not have been sold the guns.

More than a few times on this thread alone, the suggestion was made that we should better enforce the gun control laws that we already have and it amazes me that you aren't learning the bigger lesson here. They don't work! You just presented the case to prove it.

The kid was arrested after making statements that he was going to shoot up a school in 2022 and yet Texas laws STILL allowed him to buy the guns to k**l 21 people. Talk about a failure!

So here's my answer to your question...

These folks in Texas with violent mental problems aren't put on the list because there is no list. Not in any real sense and that's because it's simply too expensive. States like Texas will suggest psychological profiles as a political gesture to f**e concern - they might even legislate it but they aren't actually going to pay for it. As I've already mentioned, psychology is expensive and it's ridiculous to think a government can profile every potential k**ler. Even if they could - who would want to live in a country where everyone is profiled?

By contrast, pulling products from the market is easy and relatively cheap to do. Governments do it all the time with drugs, imports and anything else that doesn't interfere with the small arms business and it's cash cow, the American gun fetish. Not only that but you don't have to rely on expensive psychological predictions that no one wants to pay for to have any real effect.

Will the banning of high capacity weapon categories on the market stop all the violence? Of course not. But countries all across the developed world have a proven track record that it DOES scale the problem down significantly. Incidentally, almost all of these other developed nations DO allow citizens to own guns with appropriate licensing.

So there's the policy that is proven to work to a significant degree (without interfering with the right to bear arms) and there is the policy that really doesn't work at all and the ONLY reason why Texas opted for the policy that doesn't work at all is because it doesn't matter to them if ANYTHING works as long as they can indulge in their fetish.
