SS was a good thing at it's inception. LBJ put the funds into the general account and destroyed it.

There seemed to be a theme here; giving absolute power to the federal govt. The reality being that the founding fathers gave absolute power to the citizens. I would like to know where in the constitution does it say that the govt. has the power to tax anything.

General "Blackjack" Pershing once had to deal with a muslim uprising. He dug a big hole in the ground, threw in some slaughtered pigs, lined up 50 convicted muslim k**lers and shot 49. He threw their bodies on top of the pigs and buried them. Then he turned the last muslim loose so he could report what happened to the others. Uprising quelled.
