Isn't it incredible that what is happening in the USA today is very, very similar as to what the Bible describes in Genesis: Ch.19 Vs.1-9, which makes one wonder if the USA will also suffer what happened next in Genesis: Ch.19 Vs.10-25? Only GOD knows for sure, and the problem we have is that none of us have a person like Abraham to intercede with GOD in our behalf in order to assure the USA is at least given the respite for the innocent as to what happened next in Genesis: Ch.19 Vs.27-29?

Jeweler Attacked for Opposing Gay Marriage
– After Providing Service for Gay Wedding

I guess this whole thing is about more than forcing Christians to take part in gay wedding ceremonies. Now, the gay lobby is simply going to force anyone who disagrees with gay marriage to change their mind or face the consequences. Canadian jeweler Esau Jardon is a Christian who personally opposes same-sex marriage but never turns a customer away. So when a lesbian couple, Nicole White and Pam Renouf, came into his store to buy a pair of engagement rings, he happily obliged. Not only that – the couple was very happy with the work he did!

They were great to work with. They seemed to have no issues. They knew the two of us were a same-sex couple,” White said.

“I referred some of my friends to them, just because I did get some good customer service and they had good prices.”

But then Jardon mad his big mistake. He admitted that he believed in traditional marriage and thought that it should be defended. It was after the lesbian couple had recommended him to another lesbian couple that they learned Jardon was one of the “bad guys.” The second couple visited his store and noticed a sign that read, “The sanctity of marriage is under attack. Let’s keep marriage between a man and a woman.”

The couple felt so aggrieved that they stormed out and went directly to their friends to tell them about the horrible jeweler. It was then that the original couple, White and Renouf, returned to demand a full refund from the jeweler, even though they were happy with his work. Apparently, the rings were contaminated by the beliefs of the Christian jeweler and thus the rings were now sullied… or something.

Listen as White recounts their “ordeal”:

"It was really upsetting. Really sad, because we already had money down on [the rings], and they're displaying how much they are against gays, and how they think marriage should be between a man and a woman."

The couple went to the store the following day, and asked about the sign.

"They just said that that's their beliefs, and they think they can put up wh**ever they want. I just said it was very disrespectful, it's very unprofessional and I wanted a refund," White said.

lesbian couple"I have no issues with them believing in what they believe in. I think everyone's entitled to their own opinion. But I don't think they should put their personal beliefs inside their business."

White and Renouf hope to get a refund when the man who sold them the rings returns to town next month — but it's not guaranteed.

White said the rings were meant to be a symbol of love, but now the bands seem tainted.

"I think every time I look at that ring, I'll probably think of what we just went through," White said.

That’s right, Jardon’s beliefs are disrespectful and unprofessional.

For his part, Jardon says that posting signs about his religious beliefs is a practice he’s been participating in for the last 11 years and he doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon.

Jardon said he won’t apologize for his beliefs.

“I feel really bad that [White] feels that we would in any way try to hurt or discriminate against her, but we will not retract from what we believe. I cannot say, ‘Well because you feel bad, I will stop believing what I believe,’” he said.

“When I walk on Church Street in Toronto, where I am right now, and I see [L**T rainbow f**gs], and I see a lot of signs and a lot of things on public property, I don’t have a problem with them. I accept it. I chose to come to Canada… and we accept the whole package… I don’t discriminate against that, nor do I come and tell them to take them down. For the same reason, I ask to have the same respect in return, especially when it’s in my own business.”

Now Jardon says that he will return the money after being bombarded with threats and intimidation.

“One of the reasons my family chose to move to Canada was the rights that it offered, the freedom of religion and freedom of speech, both of which at the time seemed to be very limited in Mexico,” he said.

“However, due to posting our religious beliefs, many people in Newfoundland want us to shut down business — that’s what they’ve been telling us.”

The gay and lesbian community in Canada is, of course, outraged that the jewelers would admit to being Christians and in favor of traditional marriage. It doesn’t matter that the jewelers happily crafted the rings that the lesbian couple wanted… they also have to believe the right way too. This has been the point all along, folks. As we’ve said numerous times, it’s never about what the left says it is; it’s always about something deeper. The gay marriage issue wasn’t about marriage -- it was about normalcy. Forcing Christians to participate in gay wedding ceremonies isn’t about “discrimination” – it’s about forcing Christian to submit and renounce their own moral code.

Which is why it doesn’t matter if the Christian jeweler makes the rings, unless he also professes his belief in the morality and even “goodness” of homosexuality.

As Rod Dreher in the American Conservative puts it, “You must not only bake the cake, or arrange the flowers, or make the ring, you must hold the correct opinion when you do it.”

rap 'ture n. joy, ecstasy (Webster's Dictionary definition)
The person who read the Biblical passage in the 1930s, and used this word to describe what he thought was an event, that he would tell people that he discovered hidden in scripture, and since then the word has become the event, but can be found nowhere in the Bible, or Torah. Believe as you wish, but Catholics do not believe in a Rapture as such, which is not listed in the Bible, even though they know and are aware of the passage, and when put into context, may mean something different for Catholics.

However at the end of the program, it was apparent we are never going to get along with such strict dogma and tradition and or culture when no one was concerned about common t***hs to save mankind. So.....have a cold one or two and njoy the holiday weekend. Spend your time trying to repair America. Better odds with that....long shot odds but better odds.

Have you ever seen the actual word, 'Rapture', in the Bible? The 'Rapture' theory was postulated by an American Pastor in the 1930's, to get more people in his church to fill his pews, because there are more pews in American Churches than there are believers, and each Christian religion competes with others to fill their seats during their church services, and reap the tithes in support of their ministries. It's a nice theory, and I hope it is true, but I don't believe it will be just because someone took some words in a passage, and made something out of them that was not actually intended of those words. The Catholic Church has existed for nearly two thousand years, while every other Christian Church and denomination have only existed for less than five hundred years, and the Catholic Church originated the Bible, and when Martin Luther rebelled against Catholic authority, and started his own protestant Christian denomination, he tossed seven books from the Catholic Bible, saying they could not be authenticated, but the finding of the 'Dead Sea Scrolls' in 1967 has confirmed and authenticated six of those books that Martin Luther omitted from the protestant Bible, and this was confirmed and authenticated by the twelve highly intelligent scientist the Israelis hired to t***slate all those scrolls, which ten were atheists and two were agnostics, but when they had finished their t***slations, and compared them to the books in the Bible and Torah, they found their t***slations to be exactly, word for word, of what those books in the Torah and Bible were. All twelve of these scientist then converted to either Judaism or Catholicism, because they claim it was impossible for books being t***slate down through history, through many languages, could stay exactly the same without some divine intervention. Why Catholicism and not any protestant Christian denomination, because of those six books that Martin Luther threw out of his protestant Bible.

She claims she didn't focus on specific problems of US foreign policy, but her actions were defined by the entire aspect of Obama's wants in how the world sees him and the USA in order to form the nation's reputation that Obama and Hillary were striving for themselves and the USA. This is similar to letting the barn, silo and farm house burn to the ground in order to preserve the level of water in the nearby pond that would be required to put our the fires.

My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most p***e, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know… the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”

Obama likes Raul Castro because he is envious of him, because Obama wants to rule the USA just like the Castro brothers have ruled Cuba, and the way he goes around Congress and signs 'Executive Orders' into law, while also having his appointees implement rules and regulations in federal government agencies and departments that are enforced on the American people just like laws, Obama is practically ruling the USA just like the Castro brothers.

Your ignorance of Islam is stupendous, get a Koran and read it, you'll discover how many contrary and contradictory believes are in it compared to what the Bible and Torah teach, showing that it is the opposite god than the GOD of constancy, the Judeo/Christian GOD, whose only difference between those two religions is who the Messiah may be, but agrees on the coming of a Messiah and what His teachings will be, that are exactly opposite of the teachings of Allah, the present day Baal.

Your statement is very true, too bad you don't practice what you preach. You speak out against a law in Indiana that just supports what the 1st Amendment says, so if you believe that law to be so egregious, than why not just repeal the 1st Amendment, then your problem wouldn't exist. Anyone that is being forced to serve another against his/her will, under wh**ever pretense, is being made a 'S***E', you can't be partially pregnant, and you also can't be completely free if someone is allowed to violate and usurp some of your rights guaranteed by the 'US Constitution' and the 'Bill of Rights'. Do you even believe in a GOD? If so do you also believe as the 'Declaration of Independence' declares, that the Creator (GOD) endowed on all mankind certain unalienable Rights, that consist of 'Life', 'Liberty', and the 'Pursuit of Happiness', and if so, do you know what the Right of 'Pursuit of Happiness' really is? It's the right for each individual to decide for themselves what is best for them, whether that choice be right or wrong, and being allowed to pursue that choice, instead of some elitist or government deciding for them what is best for them, and then forcing them to accept the choice of the elitist or government over that of their own. Today we've lost the Right of 'Life' that starts at conception and is provided with a soul at the same time, through a******ns, we've lost our Right of 'Liberty' by the passage of the Patriot Act and the addition to it of the right of the federal government to incarcerate people indefinitely, by only accusation of the act terrorism, and without judicial relief of habeas corpus or being able to confront ones accuser for proof of that accusation, we've lost our Right of 'Pursuit of Happiness' by Obamacare forcing us to purchase something that we don't want or need, so that those who do want or need it can acquire it for a cheaper price, which is a misnomer, and the federal government forcing people into 'S***ERY' by forcing them to serve someone they do not want to serve, for some made up rights that don't exist, those people who have religious reasons why they can't associate with what their GOD says is an immoral deviancy to be avoided in order to live a religiously devout life. So for the last six years, your hero Obama has 'Changed' what our 'US Constitution' says or means, or has made it irrelevant through usurping the rights and freedoms it warrants and guarantees for the American people, treating it like a smorgasbord, choosing which rights and freedoms he is willing to allow the American people. So why do you want to impose or coerce your version of reality on others who reject what you believe in, and want only to accept what their GOD's teachings and precepts mandates for them to live by in order to live a devoutly religious life, and for what the 1st Amendment proclaims we all are allowed to live. I don't want to impose or coerce my version of reality on anyone, I just want people to be free to do want they want, not to be forced to do what they do not want because someone claims it is their right to be served by whomever they wish to serve them, which you apparently want. I say grow-up and allow people to live their lives the way they want to, the reason this country came into existence, not to be forced to serve people they don't even want to associate with because of their immoral deviancy and their anti-religious attitude. Let the people have the freedom they were told this country came into existence for, not ens***e them to someone's perceived right to be served by everyone else, let people choose who they deserve to serve, and free enterprise will take care of their businesses one way or another.

With a 'SCUMBAG' like you around, that espouses ignorant propaganda and lies, who hasn't a clue what the USA and it's people are all about, their heritage of freedoms and rights, 'NEVER'! Have you noticed the results of Obama's promised 'CHANGE', the Democrats' two year majority control of both Houses of the US Congress when Obama became President, with the US Senate having a Democratic 'Filibuster Proof' majority, have changed back to Republican majority control of both Houses of the US Congress, and today there are also 30 governorships and 32 state legislatures that are now controlled by the Republicans? It seems that the American people have been learning what the Democrats have to offer and have rejected it, and have discovered that 'Liberalism & Progressiveness' is synonymous with 'Socialism & C*******m' and are completely rejecting them. What a great country this is, and it's people that are free, and whose rights guarantee that they'll stay that way, no matter how hard the socialist and c*******ts try to 'CHANGE' that condition.

That's his problem, and if he screws with people like me, he will be compounding that problem a lot more than he'll be able to handle. If he can't fill that void with knowledge and respect, it will be filled with fear and aggravation, if he tries to impose his beliefs on those who won't accept them.

Good comment, but it makes too much sense and is too reasonable for any liberal or progressive to accept, for it doesn't allow them to take over someone's life and ruin it, just to exercise control over another that they believe they should be allowed to do because of their elitist mindset of themselves.

That's your problem, you only read fables, but nothing that would improve your knowledge of what you like to talk about, that you stay blissfully ignorant about, but again that's your right, which you take a huge advantage of and stay ignorant. But you are right about one thing, I can become a pretty low animal when someone tries to violate my rights and freedoms, and that of my countrymen. Be assured, I speak very highly of GOD's children, but not that of Satan's followers, which your ignorance makes you too stupid to identify by their teachings and the fruit that they bear, Muslims and the Islamic religion. When you lose your sloth, you can read a Qur'an and find out for yourself, but until you do, you know nothing about what a Muslim really is, or what they believe, which you now seem to only get from fables.
