Whoo-hoo! You just couldn't resist, could you. You bet we have to face our biases and how they work, and YOU are a prime example. There was just NO WAY you could argue against Sowell except that my "unconscious racism" caused me to post a line from yesterday's article I had just read. THAT is what is wrong about the political left. If they don't have a boogie bear to beat people up with, they cannot make an argument. I love Thomas Sowell and have read him for years, well before I learned what a rotten mess the Democrats in this country are. I quote Sowell and praise him, and am accused of racism. Heaven help us all. And, Glaucon, you can have your private site. I don't really want anything more to do with it as it is filled with a bunch of knuckle-headed knuckle draggers. If you cannot keep the racial wars going, you will all wither away into the nothingness that your party represents. Heaven help all of you! No one else stands a chance of helping you. I have tried to abide by your rules, not realizing that your side is so rotten that the rules apply ONLY to conservatives. Standard behavior on your side.

We are already cleaning it up. We are doing more than anyone else in the world to clean it up. We are pretty much the ONLY people cleaning it up. What took decades to cause cannot be fixed overnight and the Administration KNOWS IT. This attack on a coal industry that is doing a pretty fair job of cleaning itself up is simply a political ploy, that ends up causing more long term harm for short term political brownie points. Doing it wrong is worse than doing nothing. There are many concerned environmentalists who have the right idea, but they are like children who want it now. You can't have it now. It takes time, and it is being done. Lake Erie is a different place than in say 1965, far cleaner. That did not happen overnight. It required knowledgeable people without so much of a political agenda to accomplish what they did.
