Alright 669!! Now and again we get to see the shallow, self-centered ignorance of a religious Republican favorite!!

Normally I would agree with you. What he did, however, seems little different than the members of congress who favor legislation that favors their biggest campaign donors. His being out of politics is enough for me. I don't need to extract a pound of flesh. Twenty years for financial crimes seems rather cruel. He and his wife didn't k**l anyone. I don't wish conservatives death, nor do I wish them long incarcerations. Removing their hands from the levers of power is enough for me.

Leaders responsible for initiating wars of aggression that k**l hundred of thousands...now those people need to be tried and if found guilty be sent away for decades.

They were dealt with pretty harshly. Seems they were made an example of. I hope this makes certain politicians who's greed takes over the need for fair governance understand this can happen to them. In China they go to a forced labor camp or are executed.

Brian........Every issue with every detail of what they are accused of will come out at their trials for public viewing. The prosecutors may be licking their chops considering how he governed the state and the crap he and his party tried to force on women alone. If the dems hadn't taken that state over v**er suppression would have gotten through this year and now it's stopped dead in its tracks. When it comes to the Governor and his former Lt. Governor both of them are religious morons. Go back and read some of their comments and see for yourself especially the Lt. Governor who lost running for governor not long ago....He probably still can't figure out how he lost.

One thing I can't stand about politicians who wear their religion on their sleeves is you were elected to serve the people by the laws in place NOT by your religious beliefs. Many of them have forgotten that and that's one reason I have absolutely no use for their kind regardless of party.

Many of them have forgotten about the separation of church and state and what it means.

Yes... and most of us would rather not emulate the Chinese. The U.S. now incarcerates at the highest rate on planet earth. A ridiculous number of people are incarcerated over using drugs, financial dealings or petty theft. As I have mentioned before we need to be emulating the EU nations more.

So many in this country claim to be religious. Yet when they execute a man or lock him up, there are people who lust for schadenfreude (a delight in the misfortunes of others). It is an ugly quality. There is a place for repentence and redemption. Even thought I am not religious, I wish our culture could more embody the Quakers, rather than the worst qualities of Iran and Russia.

As I have mentioned before we need to be emulating the compassion of the EU nations and Canada more, and stop emulating the worst attributes of Russia, China, and Iran.

God bless the world.

Brian-if the t***h were known-probably half of the seat of government should be in jail. If our current president were scrutinized even half as much as these people have been he would not be anywhere close to the White House. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Good Luck America !!!

I agree with retired 669. The current president has been overly scrutinized and he must be clean cause he is still president till 2016. Absolute power is a dictatorship. we have none of that.

Retired669-these people were indicted and will face trial and if found guilty they will pay the price. Apparently they took a lot of graft money which they should have known was illegal. However, they did not k**l or cause the death of anyone. When do you feel Hillary should be indicted ? Good Luck America !!!

If you have proof Hillary committed a crime and should be indicted send it to Issa. He's in charge of looking into B******i and so far every conspiracy he or anyone else has come up with hasn't went anywhere. Ever wonder why?

Now if you want to hold people accountable for deaths lets start with the last administration that is responsible for thousands of deaths including many in our military. That, BTW is a fact!...From the looks of it they are going to get away with it too.

I am a believer in the separation of church and state. The last thing we need, however, are prosecutors who "lick their chops". I prefer redemption to vengeance as long as it doesn't apply to the physically violent and homicidal.

Yeah, W and Cheney should have been deported to the Hague, for war-crimes trials, upon leaving office. Sadly you are right. They are getting away with their war crimes.
