The apparent intent of "Russian" bots is not to help Trump but to disrupt our e******ns/government; but the intent is to disrupt.
Think about this impeachment and all the issues/events/things said that has led to it. Could we have a "Russian" mole in our government?????

Watching Russian media is something that is a part of understanding how russia and russians are seeing things. Russian media is just like FOX, it is very much a reflection of the message that Putin wants out there for his followers. The right should pay attention to what russian media says, because it is a window of the relationship between trump and putin.
Trump's take on Putin and Russia has nothing to do with what our intelligence agencies and inside spies and diplomats see and report. Trump has acted like a true right winger in that he has formed his beliefs and policies on Putin, and he simply does not want to hear or believe anything our intelligence or other allied nation's intelligence has to say, especially warnings.
You seem to have an awareness that Putin controls the media, since you called it state media. Putin k**ls and aggressively suppresses real news, Trump is relegated to simply vilifying it and calling it f**e news, he's like to end the real news but we have freedom of the press in this country.
You know what Putin fundamentally is, he is a dictator, so why do you struggle with wanting to support russia as trump does and arriving at the correlations between trump and putin? Putin and Russia are bad actors in terms of their all out war against democracies all over the world, and you can't see how wrong trump's support of that is?

So, short answer... not all the senate has to be present....and all present do not have to v**e....and the President does not have to be found guilty of all articles of impeachment to be removed from office.

So, 2/3 of those present can make a judgment. If all the democrats didn't attend in protest, the Republican senators could v**e to acquit still. Good. So they can't just stay away and prevent a v**e.
