Yes,but we are not trying to change or eliminate Constitution or E*******l Colledge

Correction, Trump himself suggested getting rid of the "r****d" e*******l college during his campaign. Also I have seen several belligerent Republicans here on this site that were borderline implying that there should be no 2nd amendment as well.

She could have brought forward the offer, though, I am fairly certain he would have declined any such offer, it wasn't by accident that she wasn't invited.

Did you know that edumacated people stick to the point and don't nitpick occasional mistakes. I would take you seriously if you used the same standard with your fellow conservatives. Until then, you are just proving how unbalanced you are. And, BTW, Democrats is capitalized. See how easy that is?

They also don't tend to be so quick to come unhinged and start slinging insults. A sure sign of limited intelligence.

Thank you for the link though it too states that Pelosi gave her blessings to attend the meeting.

Quote from the article you linked here:

"House of Representatives speaker Ms Pelosi gave her blessing for Democrats to attend the lunch meeting if they wished. However, leadership did press upon invited members to consider whether the talks would be productive or simply amount to a photo opportunity for the president."

Additionally, this article points out that only nine republican house members agreed to attend.

Another quote from same article:

"White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said instead of a bipartisan lunch, nine House Republicans would attend. She added that the president “looks forward to having a working lunch with House Republicans to solve the border crisis and reopen the government”. "

It would appear that BOTH sides aren't fully ready to come to the table (both democrat AND republican house members) to end this shutdown, though at least nine republicans made the effort whereas none of the democrats have.

With 199 republicans, 235 democrats, 0 independents and only 1 vacant seat, it doesn't show much republican support for this bipartisan meeting either with only 9 republicans planning to attend.*

No,actually according to report Moderate Dems were going to show up,but Pelosi held them back....

In neither article with posted links in this topic thread does it state that Pelosi told them NOT to attend. In the one article, it states that she told them they can go if they wish, the other article doesn't say anything about her giving or refusing permission for them to go.

If you have a source that says otherwise, I would like to read it, please post a link.

Perhaps you posted to wrong topic, nowhere did he mention the case you are referring to in this topic.

This was the court case he is talking about.

The two sides are clear when this turns into an actual fight: On one side is our President trying to protect America and on the other side are the Democrats leaving the border open to every piece of human filth that wants to come here...

This part didn't give you pause to consider that the source MIGHT be biased? I will look to see if I can find a less biased source of the same information.

You think Trump might be getting barraged by warnings not to declare an emergency, that the grounds are false and problematic, as is hijacking funding?

I am certain his advisors are advising against such drastic action, whether he will listen or not, remains to be seen.

So he declares a state of emergency, he sees where to take money from and goes for it...and the government is still shut down even though he is getting the thing he wanted...

It being painfully obvious the wall has nothing to do with the government being shut down in the first place.

He has not yet declared a state of emergency to get his wall built. If you have evidence to the contrary, please post as I am unaware of it.

Neither side wants a state of emergency declared, we would much prefer a compromise be reached to avoid a declaration and to reopen the government.

Why dont you blame Pelosi who doesnt want to give in an inch!!!!...Its her fault..also!!!!.....She wouldnt even talk to mothers of kids who got k**led by her favorite illegal criminals....Pelosi is a SHAM!!!!

I am not really passing blame, just pointing out that your comment towards Grace was unwarranted. BOTH sides should come to the table and work on compromises.

Whether that negotiation ends in a border wall or not or even whether it should or not.... I would be more likely to favor the wall if I thought that it would be an extensive border plan that included not just the wall (which is what Trump is likely to try to reduce it to being), but one that attacked the problem comprehensively, more reliance on more modern ways to detect those breaching the wall and locating them, more enforcement in regards to locating those already here, denying employment to those already here, deportation of those already here (illegally only, legals are entitled to stay and work).

Without a comprehensive plan, no border wall will ever be effective.

Thats not how it went,Grace...According to people who actually were there he said If i open up Gov in 30 days can you give me money for Border Security, her Ugliness Uglosi said NO!!!...So President Trump..Then we have nothing to discuss and left...

He HIMSELF said he asked for border security THAT INCLUDES HIS WALL on his OWN twitter feed. how was Grace wrong when she said:

grace scott wrote:
Willing to negotiate? He arrived at the last meeting and asked if he would be given money for the wall. When the answer was "no", he left. He is a child throwing a temper tantrum, and the adults in the room are treating him accordingly,

Of course the wording "tantrum" might be somewhat an overstatement, I believe that his response was the most composed he has ever been when being told no in this case. But the fact remains, he insisted on the border wall, no negotiation, my way or the highway, when told no, he refused any more discussion and left.

All three of your "missed" comedians told fairly raunchy jokes, funny as hell but raunchy. Of those three, I think George Carlin is my favorite.

There once was a magic mirror which would k**l you if you lied to it. Unaware of its power, three roommates, a brunette, a redhead and a blonde purchased the mirror and installed it in their bathroom.

One day a brunette was doing her makeup and said to herself “I’m the smartest woman ever!” She immediately dropped dead.

The next day a redhead was doing her hair and said to herself “I’m the prettiest woman alive! ” She immediately dropped dead.

Finally, the following day, a blond was flossing her teeth. She stopped and said to herself “I think,” and dropped dead.
There once was a magic mirror which would k**l you... (show quote)

Very funny joke but I fail to see the misogyny in this joke other than maybe the joke itself. Either way, I am glad you posted this guilty pleasure, it was funny.
