In the entire orange mist obscuring Washington D.C.,Only general Mattis stood out as a true and outstanding appointment by the orange man obsessed with paying off his supporters with cabinet positions and duty bound to destroy the agencies they were put in charge of..

but even the finest can have more of the crime then the can stomach and so General Mattis left the clown filled administration over the Turkey/Kurd dilemma..

True to type the orange mistake lost little time insulting and abusing this truly fine American..

A few days ago, live and on stage Mattis made a small set of remarks in jest..

read below...

With tongue in cheek, General Mattis delivered a bloody ripper spillage of hilarious criticism.

“I’m not just an overrated general. I’m the greatest, the world’s most overrated,” said General Mattis.

“I earned my spurs on the battlefield; Donald Trump earned his spurs in a letter from a doctor,” Mattis said.

In another one line quip he said: “A year according to White House time is about 9,000 hours of executive time, or 1,800 holes of golf.”

Mattis also compared himself to Meryl Streep when he reminded the dinner attendees that they both had been denigrated by trump as “overrated”. The president denounced Mattis as “the most overrated general” when he met members of Congress on Wednesday to discuss his recent controversial decision to pull US troops out of Syria. trump said Mattis was “the world’s most overrated general. You know why? He wasn’t tough enough.”

“I’m honored to be called that [overrated] by Donald Trump, because he also called Meryl Streep an overrated actress,” Mattis said on Thursday night. “So I guess I’m the Meryl Streep of generals.” Amid the laughter, he said, “And frankly that sounds pretty good to me. And you do have to admit that between me and Meryl … at least we’ve had some victories.”

Just brilliant.

His info was proven wrong now it's possible he may face charges along with Schiff for lying

Who or what proved him wrong.. Woody is so correct on this..

do you people have any idea other then repeating what the fish wrap press has lied to you about??

we have laws in this country that WB can remain anonymous..

Do you know the difference between an Impeachment investigation and an Impeachment hearing?

Which of the many possible charges worries you the most?

trump is falling, his ashes may not be removed from office, but his last shred of respect in the world is now long gone.. as is Americas respect for a number of coming years.

It will be a lot of work and a long time coming to regain what the orange albatross has cost America.

Suspended, not revoked.. he got it back and can practice law if he wishes..

Looks like trump will be hoping for the same, but not more, convicted but not removed from office..

And now we feature the number one criminal of them all..

Trump is cutting out the middle man, and the irritating requirement to pay healthcare providers. Trump's new plan will allow policy holders to deposit their premium payments directly into the offshore bank accounts of his friends, I mean, corporate executives.

Let me explain how the whistleblower law works. You are a career civil servant working in the White House, a dedicated employee who has done your job for a couple decades. Perhaps you do t***slation or office work or are support staff to an appointee. From your experience you know a lot about how the office works, love your country and have a good sense of right and wrong and are aware of current events. During your work day you learn that the President likely committed an act of extortion of a foreign leader demanding dirt on a domestic political rival before advancing desperately needed aid already approved by congress. This bothers you yet the President is the most powerful man in the world with vast wealth and a reputation for exacting revenge on anyone he perceives as slighting him. you have a spouse and children and know it is risking your career yet you follow the protocol given you and report the t***sgression to the inspector general. The law protects you from retaliation and if your identity is disclosed you will likely be run out of your job at the White House and you and your family will face threats and abuse from the President and the lunatic fringe of his supporters. You have not accused the president of anything you simply followed the proper channels and brought a legitimate concern to the Inspector General. When the IG followed up he found the concern very genuine and credible and collaborated it from multiple sources. The President is now outraged that his scheme has come to light and wants the head of whoever set this in motion so he can make an example of them to thwart anyone else who dare hold him accountable for his crimes. Fortunately you live in the United States where we follow the rule of law and not the demands of a dictator, so you and your family remain protected from harassment and retaliation.
Let me explain how the whistleblower law works. Yo... (show quote)

Very darn good Kevyn.. but they will never let themselves understand...

Health care is a conundrum for me.. when I started a biz and had to buy my own, I could not get it for myself.. so after 5 years of no insurance.. it could have been very bad situation.

Made me very much in favor of national insurance for all.. how to make it happen is a mystery..

talked to my nurse/doctor who did my foot this summer and she said it is the high cost of everything the hospitals etc have to buy... she showed me a trash container made out of PVC pipe, the cheapest one they could get.. excess of $300.. said everything was priced out of reason..

Maybe that is the biggest problem for US health care..

From the fiscal times...

New Data Show Why Trump’s Short-Term Health Plans Are Called ‘Junk Insurance’
Many of the short-term health insurance plans being promoted by the Trump administration spent a relatively small fraction of the premiums they collected last year on patients’ medical claims.

Modern Healthcare reports that the five health insurers that collected the most in 2018 premiums from short-term insurance policies spent just 39.2% of every dollar on medical care. The rest went toward administrative expenses or was kept as profit. The data was published last week in the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' 2018 Accident and Health Policy Report.

Under the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies are required to spend 80% of the money they take in from premiums on health care costs and quality improvement. Otherwise, they must pay rebates to enrollees. For comprehensive major medical plans purchased by individuals overall in 2018, the average ratio of medical payments to premiums collected was about 73%, according to the insurance commissioners’ report.

In contrast to Obamacare-compliant plans, short-term plans don’t offer as comprehensive benefits, and they can deny coverage to people with pre-existing medical conditions or charge sicker patients more. As a result, they tend to be much cheaper — but their far lower spending on medical claims is “a stark reminder that short-term plans benefit insurance companies more than the patients who purchase them,” Modern Healthcare’s Shelby Livingston writes. For that reason, critics call them junk plans. “It does raise the question of what kind of value people are getting from these plans," Cynthia Cox, a vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation, told Livingston.

But the Trump administration has sought to expand access to such plans, and it allowed insurers to extend such policies to a year, up from a previous maximum of three months. Administration officials have argued that the plans give Americans more options for less expensive coverage.

When someone that big and that young starts dancing around with his fists up to a little old granny, it's in her best and indeed sanest interests to take it seriously. One punch could land her in the hospital in serious condition, or worse.

Had she shot that a**hole and I were the judge, I would've dismissed the case right off the bat.

Of course, that's just me...

No Seth, that is you and me both..

While I do think the big jerk was playing a role.. the action was something many Americans would applaud.

And I really am impressed by gamma..

As for the political topic of guns.. as I have said many times, I am for regulation of guns, but very opposed to confiscation of gun.. that puts me among the overwhelming majority of Americans..

And I love the idea of granny and her gun putting down the gang banger..
