Finally an honest appraisal of the failed philosophy of conservatism and its off shoot, trumpism

The demise of the Democratic Party
By Amil Imani

Since the e******n of Donald Trump, l*****ts went into a stage of sheer insanity and haven't returned.

America's political novelty is that every two years, we can change Congress, and every four the president. So why all the lies and fuss? The other side accepted President Obama's win despite all the controversies surrounding his eligibility. So why can't the Left do the same and accept President Trump when he won the 2016 presidency fair and square? What is it with Trump that they h**e him so much? If they don't like the president, the Democrats can v**e against him and his party in 2020. Why d**g the nation into a quagmire of lies and deception for three years and make our lives miserable?

The answer is Hillary Clinton and her ego. She is unable to accept her loss. She blames everyone for her defeat except herself. Clinton wrote a memoir of her failed p**********l race titled What Happened, which was a huge blunder. Hillary Clinton's team bankrolled a sleazy dossier of allegations linking Trump to Russia. The so-called dossier was nothing but a fabricated document funded by Mrs. Clinton's p**********l campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Then she blamed WikiLeaks, followed by James Comey, Bernie Sanders, Vladimir Putin, Barack Obama, the media, Jill Stein, sexism, and millions of bigoted white nationalists.

Hillary Clinton is nothing but a sore loser. She even said she would accept the outcome of the e******n, but later she refused. Despite America being a nation of laws where all forms of freedom are enshrined in the Constitution, Clinton kept going for three long years while taking the country down with her.

We have been warned of three kinds of people: charlatans, demagogues, and politicians. More often than not, someone like Hillary Clinton will rise up to represent all three of these characters wrapped into one.

Hillary Clinton's corruption comprises many components. It covers her private, professional, and political life. There are also various overlays. Her use of a personal email server overwhelms all three phases. With Hillary, one never has to overstate. Her wrongdoings speak for themselves, loudly.

She makes deceitful statements to get out of trouble and at the same time attempts to hoodwink the v**ers. Hillary Clinton is just one more in the unforgettable morally decadent leaders of world history. As long as there are individuals and politicians motivated by greed, selfishness, and power, there will be demand for an immoral leader to help them achieve their goals.

The DNC, once a viable representative of what was good and honorable in America, has become the personification of greed, corruption, and self-centeredness.

America is indeed at a crossroads, a crossroads that is existential and vital to her survival. America as we know it is now facing a mortal threat from within and without. Our system has become as corrupt as any Latin American banana republic.

The Democratic Party's current actions against President Trump and the American people qualifies them as a prime enemy of America. Eight years of Obama and his Democrat cronies made America weaker and poorer. But thanks to President Trump's policies, America is rebounding. Our people are safer and more prosperous. Our military is stronger. We are once again respected by world leaders. Our economy is the best in our history. More people work. Trump's proposal would push 3.1 million Americans off food stamps.

By contrast, Democrats prove once again they are obstructionists and use every trick in the book to o*******w a duly elected president at taxpayers' expense. Their next move is to impeach President Trump for the crimes the Democrats themselves have committed — a classic case of psychological projection.

The Democratic Party's house of cards is about to come down in a remarkable way. "Trump's e******n didn't cause the party's demise, it exposed it."

An egret looks for food along Valhalla pond in Riverview, Florida. Trump has called clean water protections ‘very destructive’.

The Trump administration has completed its rollback of environmental protections for streams, wetland and other bodies of water, a process that has stripped pollution safeguards from drinking water sources used by around a third of all Americans.

Clean water protections strengthened under the Obama administration have long been targeted by Donald Trump, who has called it a “very destructive and horrible rule”.

Trump administration to strip pollution protections, harming vital wildlife

Trump has been backed by ranchers, farming groups and golf course operators, who claim the so-called “Water of the United States” (Wotus) rule impinged upon landowners’ rights.

The Obama-era water rule was repealed last year and on Thursday the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized a weakened replacement that removes millions of miles of streams and around half of America’s wetlands from federal oversight, potentially allowing pesticides and other pollutants to be dumped into them without penalty.

The move has dismayed former EPA staff who worked on the expansion of protections to ephemeral streams that supply drinking water to an estimated 117 million people in the US.

“The new rule is scientifically indefensible and socially unjust,” said Betsy Southerland, who was scientific director of the EPA’s office of water for three decades before departing in 2017.

“This EPA’s Wotus definition, which will limit federal water quality protections to a very small set of waters and wetlands, will result in the impairment of drinking water, fisheries and flood control for communities throughout the US.”

The Trump administration had promised the demise of the water rule to industry groups that lobbied against what they saw as costly federal overreach. “This new rule will provide much-needed clarity and regulatory certainty for companies that site and build infrastructure that delivers essential energy to America’s communities,” said Karen Harbert, chief executive of the American Gas Association.

But opponents of the repeal point out that the replacement regime not only scraps the Obama-era rule but also reverses protections reaching back to the 1972 Clean Water Act, such as requirements that landowners seek permits that the EPA considers on a case-by-case basis.

The new, far narrower, definition of water protections will maintain safeguards for major rivers such as the Mississippi River and the Colorado River but not short-lived streams that feed into them after it rains or snow melts. About 60% of streams in the US are dry for part of the year but then connect to large rivers following rainfall. Wetlands not situated next to large rivers will also be excluded from protections.

People living in the western US are set to be particularly affected by the new rule, with ephemeral streams making up around 89% of Nevada’s stream miles and 94% of Arizona’s, for example.

Environmental groups warn that as many as 75 endangered species dependent on temporary streams will be imperilled by the move, while any degradation of wetlands would also harm wildlife and worsen the climate crisis by lessening their ability to store carbon.

Trump told the World Economic Forum at Davos this week that the US has “among the cleanest air and drinking water on Earth”, despite widespread contamination with chemicals such as PFAS and neurotoxins such as lead in Americans’ water.

The Trump administration has dismantled about 100 environmental rules while in office, including the reversal of a ban on mining companies dumping their waste into rivers.

“The ‘dirty water rule’ will put clean drinking water for tens of millions of people at risk, especially the low-income communities and communities of colour already disproportionately impacted by polluted water,” said Madeleine Foote, deputy legislative director of the League of Conservation V**ers.

“Clean, safe drinking water is a basic human right and we should be doing more to protect our water resources, not less,” she added.

Another expert warned of additional risks.

“The goal of the Trump administration rollback is to reduce the obligations of farmers, ranchers and other landowners in their requirements to protect water quality in the US,” said Catherine Kling, an environmental economist at Cornell University.

“This will lower regulatory costs to that group of Americans. But there are costs to the environment that will be borne by other Americans.”

These include, Kling said, the loss of healthy drinking water, algal blooms that sicken swimmers and pets and reduced value of properties near waterways.

I don't know where she lives, but I live in a city of about 300,000and unless we buy our water, we all drink the same water...poor people drink the same water as a millionaire. Is she saying that rich people get mountain spring water while poor people in the SAME place get water sucked up from a pond? Never in my life have I been in a place where poor people HAD to drink inferior water while the wealthy got better water, ( unless they bought it).

Exclusive: Lt. Col. James Zumwalt recommends innovative tactic used on mobs in Afghanistan
Lt. Col. James Zumwalt By Lt. Col. James Zumwalt
Published July 29, 2020 at 7:39pm

The late 19th century saw conflicts break out in the western United States over grazing rights between those raising cattle and those raising sheep. Sometimes, one side or the other brought in a "hired gun" – a gunman who was notorious for quickly effecting a result by employing a no-nonsense approach.

As the violence of r****rs in Portland and elsewhere continues, causing serious injury to those defending federal property, the time has come for law enforcement to take a no-nonsense approach. They need to bring in their "hired gun."

This gun is a weapon currently found in the inventories of both the military and civilian law enforcement. However, it is unlike anything r****rs in this country have ever before experienced. It has been employed most effectively in Afghanistan. But, before explaining its effectiveness, we first need explain why its use is now needed.

R****rs in Portland have been relentless for two months, hellbent on destroying property, disrupting local traffic flow, endangering citizens and injuring law enforcement officers. They feed upon the mob mentality, finding courage in large numbers. For the last 50 days, r****rs have numbered over a thousand people, sometimes rising to four times that number. Most revealing about the "oppression" they would have us believe they have suffered is that they will happily come together to party until darkness falls. Then the Dr. Jekyll partiers turn into the Mr. Hyde criminal element. Their dark side emerges as they seek to impose destruction upon their city in retaliation for a supposed oppression they never suffered.

Operating within the dark shadows of a human sea of anonymity, r****rs have used a wide range of weaponry to assault those daring to deny them an outlet for their destructive rage. Even innocent locals who happened to stumble in the way have suffered the consequences. The weapons used have included bats, firec*****rs, smoke bombs, guns, Molotov cocktails, knives, slingshot-fired ball bearings, etc. The malicious intentions of r****rs to do bodily harm is further demonstrated as some firec*****rs thrown at police have been wrapped in nails to increase the injury potential. The nature of these weapons should dispel the lie House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., recently told that these were peaceful protests and any claim of violence was a "myth."

TRENDING: Barr's clash with Dems rated: 'He ate their lunch'

In a more recent attack, r****rs used lasers against federal officers in Portland. This resulted in three officers, defending the federal courthouse, suffering possible permanent blindness by the cowardly act. Additionally, at one point, r****rs tried setting the courthouse on fire with federal officers still inside.

Some r****rs have brought their young children along, teaching them to yell obscenities at law enforcement officers or hold up signs with such messages. They have attempted to employ human shields at times to protect them from the police so they could pelt officers with various objects. These human shields have varied from mothers of the r****rs linking arms to fathers doing so and, to avoid arrest, wearing f**e press credentials.

In an effort to deny law enforcement a non-lethal means of defending itself, some liberal local politicians have banned the use of tear gas. While both Seattle and Portland enacted such bans, the former's was overturned by a judge.

The conduct of the r****rs shows no signs of abating. It has police so concerned as liberal government leaders fail to support them financially or otherwise that over 100 law enforcement agencies recently announced they would not provide security for the Democratic Party's convention. Meanwhile, Seattle police inform local business owners they are on their own to protect their properties.
Is it time to use the high-energy-microwave 'Crowd Buster' to stop the r**ts?
Yes No

Shockingly, mob violence seems to be part of the Democratic Party's 2020 platform. They blocked a Republican resolution in Congress condemning such activity, again claiming it was not needed as the protests were peaceful.

Since it is the not the size of the fight in the crowd but the size of the crowd in the fight providing r****rs with a backbone, and with their close access to federal officers allowing them to inflict injury, it is time for law enforcement to introduce r****rs to the "crowd buster" – the "Active Denial System" (ADS).

ADS is a directed-energy weapon system developed by Raytheon several years ago. It generates and focuses a high-energy millmeterwave radio frequency beam (a type of electromagnetic radiation) onto a target, causing a very hot, skin-surface burning sensation. This gives ADS the additional name of the "heat" or "pain" ray.

ADS actually works similar to a microwave oven. There is one big difference, however; while the microwave cooks meat from the inside out, ADS only penetrates the skin's surface up to 1*64th of an inch. But that penetration is sufficiently unbearable to force any victim within the beam's path to immediately seek the nearest escape route. You will never see a snowflake move quicker to look for "safe space" than when targeted by ADS.

This system is one of the most effective non-lethal weapons designed to preserve perimeter security and crowd control. And, as volunteers who have experienced it will attest, exposure causes absolutely no permanent injury. For r****rs, it is the equivalent of an adult receiving a severe paddling for misbehavior – one never to be forgotten. While "feel the Bern" might be a draw for many progressives among these r****rs, "feeling the burn" of the ADS will have no similar effect. It will leave them discombobulated as they run to find an escape route.

Thousands of people r**ting in Portland for two months is an obvious indication these miscreants have too much time on their hands. As local police stand down, the r**ting and destruction continues, only encouraged by police inaction. One ADS zap will go a long way to reorient such destructive thinking.
