If what you say is true, then why did B****s not feel vindicated? The people who owned them were reduced to poverty, their wealth gone, their homes and farms gone. In most normal way of thinking, that would be enough. I also found a reference where all the freed s***es were offered t***sportation back to their motherlands. Why did they want to stay in the US? Seems to me, if they h**ed it here, were so badly treated, and longed for their heritage then why did they not leave? That being the case, then they should be pissed off at the forefathers for declining the offer instead of hating the decedents of the w****s that owned their great, great.....fathers and mothers. I also learned that only 8 percent of the population of the US owned s***es, so why do they blame all w****s? Just seems odd to me.

Don't forget that Christianity was enforced on people in it's early stages as well, and used to justify bad actions of people.

There is only ONE religion that NEVER forced conversion; Buddhism. Yes, all other religions have forced people to convert, some threatened death, some loss of property, being exiled.

Now it seems that another type of enforcement has been put in place. I guess w****s are on notice, Santa is black, Jesus is black, and soon they will declare God as black. I guess that is alright with many people, but I foresee a problem, when the atheist declare that all religious holidays are obsolete. But, they may compromise with the b****s and just rule out any white holidays can not be observed.

What would the words be to I'm Dreaming of a Black Christmas perhaps a rewrite of The Night Before Christmas? Will that then make Black people content?

Whereas I agree that Obama has told some real horrible lies and he is not qualified to be president, I can not say, nor do I think anyone can say what is in his heart. It is a fact, according to his prior room mates and those who knew him, a Muslim. People will ask if he has ever been seen in the traditional prayer, I have read the Quran and it tells Muslims that they do not have to tell the t***h, it also excuses public prayer.

There may have been worse presidents, but he does rate in the top 1 percent!

Welcome, and feel free to express your opinions, however, there are some most disagreeable and intolerant types who have nothing but hatred for liberals, and cannot let a day go by without some Obama bashing and telling ridiculous lies about he and his family.
Other than that, this is an OK forum.

If you choose to reply to a specfic post, it helps to use the quote reply tab, otherwise, no one is sure who you might be replying to.

Hello Bo,

As you know, I do not bash anyone on a personal level. Obama's policies and the mismanagement of the government should be open to discussion. And whether you know it or not, I read your posts with an open mind. Of course I have to overlook certain phrases, but I am sure that you do the same for me.

Welcome to OPP. Even though you are a Liberal, I look forward to your posts.

I'm forever amused at the machinations of the atheists, gays and ignorant l*****ts. They are so insecure in their beliefs that they must make the government force other people to accept their beliefs. If they had any real conviction that they were actually right, they wouldn't need the government to force their beliefs on others.

As a Christian, I can simply state my beliefs, offer to introduce someone to Jesus, and be happy with their decision. They can accept Christianity, or reject it, and I accept that my God wants them to be free to choose. I have no need to demand that the government forces others to accept my beliefs, because I'm confident that I am right in my beliefs.

The atheists demanding that nativity scenes be removed by government edict is proof that they really know in their hearts that there is a God, and that his son, Jesus Christ, was born and died that they may be forgiven. Sadly, our government wants itself to be the almighty god of the lazy, crazy, ignorant and ever needy masses, so they usually do enforce the lies, mostly just to get more v**es.

The t***h of God stands alone, on its own strength forever, atheist lies must be supported and enforced by temporary man made governments. BTW, that is the really big difference between Christianity and Islam. Islam must be enforced by an Islamic government to survive, but Christianity survives for over twenty centuries, in spite of governments trying to destroy it.

Very well said! As you probably guessed, I am tired of this! The actions and the needs of the Liberal has been infringing on the rights of American citizens for far too long.

Some time that old cliche about "becare what you wish for"... should be adhered to The Oklahoma GOP demanded that the 10 commandments be displayed in front of the statehouse over the objections of the secularists. Well, the right wing GOP won, but they should have read the law that they wrote. The Satanists promptly demanded their own display, and now the Hindu's want to erect a giant symbol of their Monkey God. Can a menorah or Islamic memorial be far behind?

What is the objection? I see the Commandments as transcending religions; it speaks to the good that we all need to find in ourselves. Honor, love, compassion, and honest treatment of one another.

Your comment about the Menorah, well it just does not apply. It has been said that the menorah is a symbol of the nation of Israel and its mission to be "a light unto the nations." (Isaiah 42:6). The sages emphasize that light is not a violent force; Israel is to accomplish its mission by setting an example, not by using force. This idea is highlighted in the vision of the Prophet Zechariah who sees a menorah, and G-d explains: "Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit." (Zechariah 4:1-6). It is often seen during Chanukah as a remembrance of the festival of lights. Not something that any Jew would demand to be displayed on any courthouse steps.

Rep. James Sensenbrenner, the original author of the Patriot Act, says Director of National Intelligence James Clapper should be prosecuted for lying to Congress.

He said the Justice Department should prosecute Clapper for giving false testimony during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in March.

During the hearing, Sen. Ron Wyder (D-Or) asked Clapper whether the National Security Agency (NSA)collects data on millions of Americans. Clapper insisted that NSA does not - or at least does "not wittingly" - collect information on Americans in bulk.

After documents leaked by Edward Snowden revealed that the NSA collects records on virtually all US phone calls, Clapper apologized for the misleading comment.

Clapper sad he tried to give the "least unt***hful" he could without revealing classified information.

Sensenbrenner said that explanation doesn't hold water and argued the courts and Congress depend on accurate testimony to do their jobs.

Clapper is a retired Army General, so goes the theory that because a person spent a number of years in the military, he is above being anything but "perfect."

I agree, this should be treated a prudery. But, I guess that law does not apply as many other laws do not apply to a select group. Who cares what he used to do, although I honor his military time, it does not excuse his current actions.

The number of people who signed up for Obamacare the first day was six. But Liar-in-Chief Barack Obama claimed they could not get an "accurate count" of the number of people who signed up. Are we to believe there is not one person in the White House who can count to six? Perhaps they should fire someone and hire a kindergarten student to do the counting.

Just a thought, if they can not count to six then how can they be trusted with our money? I like the cartoon that AuntiE sent, and posted, about Wise Men.

I don't know if you have heard, but Santa, good old Saint Nicholas is now black. Wonder when this happened?

Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly thinks the idea of a racially inclusive Santa Claus is utterly ridiculous. She’s wrong. And she’s wrong about Jesus being white, too.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/12/12/yes-megyn-kelly-santa-can-be-black-and-jesus-too.html

http://www.slate.com/articles/life/holidays/2013/12/santa_claus_an_old_white_man_not_anymore_meet_santa_the_penguin_a_new_christmas.html

Christmas as we once knew it, well it is not politically correct. In the 1960s, a new holiday called Kwanzaa was invented, in 2000 a complaint was made that "dreaming of a White Christmas" should not be sung or represented because that is not politically correct. Crosses, nativity scenes all over America is banned, school plays about the birth of Christ is not allowed. Praying (unless it is Muslim) is prohibited. I ask, what will be next?

I found that a significant number do as you suggest. But, my interest was in what happened to the owners, what happened to their farms and businesses after the war, if they had to give up their farms where did they go..... many questions that is not PC to ask. Everyone focus their attention on b****s, and that is all fine and well. I guess I have always liked the roads less traveled.
