It really seems that folks only read material that agrees with their way of thinking. That's fair enough. My husband and I have always made it a point to investigate everything with an idea toward how it will help our country in the long run. And for the life of us, we cannot see where the extravagant throwing of out tax dollars away falls into this category. And we are not so stupid as to believe we can borrow our way out of debt. If anyone has that solution, can they at least post it online so we can all benefit by it?

Oh, Carolyn, are you trying to start a new version of your "what's wrong with the crooked mainstream media" after that story line was proven to be fabricated presentation?
I invite everyone visiting this new twist to go back to Carolyn's previous thread and see the whole story. ha.

My lord, where did you come up with such a list???!!! Is this some running list passed around on the far right fringes or what? Really, what?!

I really can't say I "like" any newspaper per the definition of the word "like." I really don't care for any news source that one scans and feels lied to and c***ted after one peruses it. It is the same with TV with my husband and I. There are only a couple of channels that we watch for news because we can always catch most of them up in lies or half-t***hs. And even the one's that we do watch we do so most of the time with great trepidation because most times we find something that does not fall in line with the complete t***h.
The news profession has taken a great nosedive where honesty is concerned. Even our small weekly rag shows such partiality toward the great accomplishment of this BOZO in Charge that it makes one absolutely sick to read it. Even after 5 years of the Bozo's watch, it is still blaming Bush for The Bozo's incompetency.
That is why my husband and I stopped buying it.

I would imagine that this list is open for scrutiny if any died-in-the-wool Democrat would choose to check it out. But of course if it is on anything but a liberal website, then it is not authentic, is it?
Now I suppose some lazy liberal will demand to know the website address so they won't have to expend themselves looking it up on their own.
It really isn't that hard, even for a novice computer owner such as myself, to check things out on the search websites. And I enjoy it because one can find documented answers to just about any questionable information they choose to check out.

It is very hard to find a good news source. I believe all the news is "filtered". When I can see an obvious bias and benefits of the news slant, I can at least feel I caught them. When nothing is so certain, it only nags at me..I use the computer sources a lot.. But find most of that is the most clearly slanted.... With the major pubs controlled by only 6 corporations, it is easy to distrust all of them on principle, but they do have the best resources and the majority of journalists do have a degree of p***e in the profession. I don`t feel that dumping everything that they report is the correct thing to do..I guess cking out a favorite source is the best...

I too use the internet for a lot of my information, and by close investigation, one can filter out the many biased slants and Democrat controlled websites. I want the t***h, no matter which party it favors. And that is why it burns me to no end to read an article where Obama has turned the economy around and we are living in tall clover.
With unemployment less than 5%, gasoline at $1.86 per gallon and a choice of your own healthcare, I would say that things were a whole lot better under Bush than it is now, after 5 years of blaming Bush for his incompetency. What do you say about the situation?

Although it has been an extended while, I would have to question the Roanoke Times. Roanoke has historically been a rather conservative city.

Have you ever considered Carolyn that your idea of "complete t***h" may be as much a fabrication as the proven mispresentation you had on your previous site on "the crooked mainstream media"?
YOU took a "great nosedive where honesty is concerned" in that presentation and never did come clean and take responsibility for your misrepresentations and half t***hs there.
I can just see you now in your seat in front of the TV watching the only 2 stations you halfway trust cowering "with great trepidation"--fearing, as you state so vividly, "most times we find something that does not fall in line with the complete t***h."
I'm in trepidation to ask what your version of complete t***h is that is so large & exclusive that it doesn't match to any news rag or any TV channel but two, except that most times they fail with something not "IN LINE." So, please tell me this rare COMPLETE t***h that only you know and help me see how scary this dog Bozo is that you keep referring to. Does he bite as well as bark? No wonder you're scared to watch the news about Bozo.
Now, now, little Carolyn, don't be scared. Halloween was a month and a half ago, and that scary thing with a black mask that scared you so was only a little puppy out trick or treating like all the other dogs of that politician breed. Nothing to be that scared of.

Here is my original post: According to ChaCha, The Washington Post, along with the New York Times and Los Angeles Times, are considered to be liberal newspapers. That was all I posted. So which thumb do you suck "the whole story" out of? And would you mind defining what you meant by the "whole story?"
This was in response to one person who raved about the accuracy of The Washington Time's integrity and honesty. Of course, he was a liberal and would read nothing but liberal gibberish. The one's that took the time to look up the names of the other liberal rags should be commended, not ridiculed. But one really can't commend a conservative if he is a left-wing, liberal Obama lover, can he?
I especially am waiting to hear what absolute BS you manage to come up with this time.
