I have seen other estimates, but you are close. Of worthy consideration, those business were created by immigrants that are here legally and they come from all over the world. I have said, and it has been echoed by many of the posters that people who enter this country the right way is not a problem or issue. It is the illegal ones that are not only a problem throughout the US but in particular in the US/Mexican border states that are causing concern. Those that are mules, the hustlers, the gang member..... these people cause those who are here the right way to have a bad name. There are solutions, some are better than others and all except the current staff in Washington has rejected. Something must be done, and that something can not be an open border.

You say that history should not be rewritten, remember history is told from the view point of the teller of that history. If you asked people that lived during the Civil War you would have more than one versions of the same story the northern view, the southern view and a few other views mixed in. So history has been rewritten because not all of the story is being told.

First, I beg you to use the quote reply button so we can know to whom you are talking.

History is indeed told from the perspective of the teller. That is the reason that YOU need to do research, not just read what is convenient or politically correct. I have gone through the achieves in Washington DC and read original manuscripts, letters, diaries, newspapers and everything else available. I also have my families' documents and diaries that date back to the 1600s; their way of life in their mother country, their voyages to the new world, their beginnings and those diaries are complete with their personal perspective of everyday life, s***ery, thoughts on the break from England, even the cost of foods and the horrors of war. Not just the Civil war, but those that came after. Indeed bloody accounts, sad heart breaking account. And how many such documents have you read? How many libraries have you visited in the last year? The internet is not a book, it is not a library and does not have any controls on the content. Stories can be fabricated and put on the net without the least bit of knowledge on the subject. So, do not chide me for giving you information based on true research.

Having said that, there is documented information on Santa on Jesus and why would anyone who cherishes t***h be willing to let it go because one group of people have an inferiority complex and fell the need to change the color of the world to fit their own?

Certainly the Romans under Pontius carried out the crucifixion but only because the Jews insisted because Christ claimed to be God and the king of kings including the Jews. The Romans though they h**ed Christians even more than current day atheists did could not find Jesus guilty of anything, it was essentially a lynch mob.

That is quite a statement. Okay where to start.
Historical records indicate that crucifixion was reserved for the most severe crimes. A mere condemnation of the priests or a fit of anger in the Temple would not have been sufficient enough for Pilate to condemn Jesus to Crucifixion. The Romans of that period used other methods of putting people to death. For example, they often employed beheading. Beheading was believed to be quicker and therefore less painful. Death by crucifixion was reserved for particular crimes and particular classes. Those with proper Roman citizenship were supposed to be immune from crucifixion, although they might be executed by other means. Crucifixion was commonly regarded as not only frighteningly painful but also the most shameful of deaths. Essentially, it was reserved for those who were perceived as raising their hands against Roman rule or those who in some other way seemed to challenge the social order—for example, s***es who attacked their masters, and i**********nists, such as the many Jews crucified by Roman Gen. Vespasian in the Jewish r*******n of 66-72.

The Jewish priest held their positions because the Roman Empire allowed it, therefore there was an obligation on the priest to uphold Roman laws. Jesus’ overturning the Temple’s tables would certainly anger the priest, but did not break any Roman or Jewish laws. Preaching against the priest again would have angered them, but would not be sufficient to warrant the death penalty at the hands of the Roman Empire. One can assume by the writings of his disciples that either Jesus proclaimed himself King (ergo the reason for the plaque nailed with him on the cross) or those who followed him proclaimed him to be a king. This would be worrisome for the Roman Empire, such a belief could cause a generalized uprising, a war. I believe that we can look at the Bible for a reason: "And they began to accuse him, saying, "We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king." - Luke 23:2. Certainly Pilate did not find him guilty of a misdemeanor, destruction of Temple property. And his preaching against the priest would have earned him the label of insane. The real reason for his death was a perceived notion in the mind of Pilate that Jesus represented a threat against the Roman Empire and as such any r*******n in the minds of Jesus and his followers had to be dealt with, and Roman law required crucifixion.

Frosty the snowman was a white guy!!
Can that be debated?

Well yes it can. Although snow for the most part appears white, it can also appear to be blue. variations in temperature, depth and age of snow can alter the appearance substantially. As light waves travel into the snow or ice, the ice grains scatter a large amount of light. If light travels over any distance, it must survive many such scattering events. That is, it must keep scattering and not be absorbed. The observer sees the light coming back from the near surface layers after it has been scattered or bounced off other snow grains only a few times and it still appears white. This absorption is preferential: More red light is absorbed than blue. The difference in absorption is small, but is enough that over a considerable distance, say a meter (3.3 feet) or more, photons emerging from the snow layer tend to be made up of more blue light than red light. For instance, if you were to poke a hole in the snow and look down into the hole, you may see a bluish color. In each case, the blue light is the product of a relatively long travel path through the snow or ice. Think of the ice or snow layer as a filter. If it is only a centimeter (0.39 inches) thick, all the light makes it through, but if it is about one meter (3.3 feet) thick, mostly blue light makes it through.

Just goes to show, if you present a problem there will be someone who can argue the point. And never present a problem to a computer geek if you do not want an out of the box response. ;)

Why have no others come forth with credible forensic analysis to support them? BECAUSE IT IS PURE BULLS**T! I know ... there was a conspiracy in the Hawaii Dept of Vital Records blah, blah, blah... and the death of the woman who certified it to be a true copy is evidence that her role in the conspiracy is part of the cover-up, blah, blah, blah. The fact that she was the only person who died in the plane crash is further evidence, blah, blah, blah. The conspiracy goes all the way back to when Obama was born and his birth announcement was published in the local Hawaiian newspaper and blah, blah, blah. Tin-foil hat bulls**t!

If you "know the birth certificate that was published on line is a forgery," then why don't you donate your expertise to Donald Trump? He would pay millions for the evidence that makes you "know" that it was a forgery. Or be a patriotic American and provide it to Darryl Issa. I'm sure he would love to have it. Do you not think that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of other experts who have studied the document? Do you not think that Darryl Issa has had the very best forensic experts study it?

It's time for all you birthers to give it up.

You know, all of this could be put to rest if 1). The state of Hawaii would release to the public the records of his birth. But, Ms. Fuddy (may God rest her soul) stopped the practice of releasing real birth certificate right after Obama was elected president. Or 2). Obama would allow the certificate that he sent a private jet and escort to pick up for examination. But, Obama and his lawyers have refused each request for forensic expert examination and all of his records......bar none are now sealed from public examination, expert examination, and even from view.

This is what raises the question. Release the real birth records and allow the document held by Obama to be examined. Put the worries to bed. By refusal, most people who think for themselves will query what is being hid and why.

Why does it matter what color someone is? At least we haven't seen the green men yet. But, I am sure that they will show up sometime.
Why does it matter what color Santa was/is? Can't we just go along with what the myth really is? As we all know in reality that there is no Santa. Maybe there was someone a long time ago who put forth idea of Santa. We have just carried on the idea because it is fun. Does it really matter as to their color? Some people do not believe in Christmas where others do. Why can't each enjoy their own particular times? Do, don't, black, white, red, yellow - so what.
Why does it matter as to what color Jesus was/is? Most refer to Him as having an olive color. He was/is a Jew. So what? One should really remember what He was here for.
Our moon appears white and our sun appears to be yellow.
We should worry when our moon appears to be red and the sun appears to be black. No particular reference being made to white or black here. Our trees and grass is green, our sky is white and blue, we have a rainbow in the sky after rains, hundreds of different colors of flowers and animals, and on and on and on.
Can't everyone just be thankful that they are alive? One should not look at another color, only their actions in life.
What color was Snow White, tinkerbell, the seven little people (mixed), Santa's elves (mixed), the Easter bunny, the big bad wolf, the Wizard of Oz, etc.? Should be also worry that were of different sizes? Why does one really need to worry about such stuff? These things should be put aside and worry about your own actions that is made for the past, present, and future.
By the way, no matter what color Jesus was/is, He is the Son of God and is God. Wh**ever color God is, Jesus is probably the same color. The Christians Bible says that He says, "I am that I am". What is someone going to make out of this? One news media also mentioned something that might help us a little is a comma being inserted in that quote making it read as "I am that, I am". This way we understand a little better that everything on/in this earth - "HE IS".

Well, there is not much one can say after that. But, some interesting information just for you. There was a Santa Clause, known better as Saint Nikolaos (I prefer the Greek spelling, but you can find his name spelled in other ways). A book written by Alban Butler, outlines his life and how he became a Saint. Nikolaos (15 March 270 – 6 December 343), also called Nikolaos of Myra, was a historic 4th-century Christian saint and Greek Bishop of Myra (Demre, part of modern-day Turkey) in Lycia. Because of the many miracles attributed to his intercession, he is also known as Nikolaos the Wonderworker (Νικόλαος ὁ Θαυματουργός, Nikolaos ho Thaumaturgos). So, the real Santa was indeed a white man.

Also, you brought up an interesting point about Jesus. He was indeed a Jew. What did he look like, well according to anthropologist he would have all the feature of a Galilean Semite. Dark hair, eyes, and lite olive skin. While in Egypt I saw many of the tombs, painted with extraordinary colors. In most, there were paintings of the people of the time going about their daily lives. Those tomb paintings depict the Jews of the time along with African B****s of the time. There are few similarities. Just for you, I searched the web and found the following link http://sarabe3.tripod.com/israeliteimages.html

Santa has been around for a very long time, I am sure that he has seen the patterns of change.....and our next mini ice age should be just around the corner if the pattern persists.

This could not be the real Santa. His hair was dark and so was his beard....and Santa would never try to scare kids!
