This is bogus. It is NOT in the budget plan.

It is not a h**x, it is a proposed cut for the next budget. And yes, they can cut housing allowance because it is a flexible spending. Each year they take the total cost of housing in an area and determine the amount the HOA will be for the next year. And the HOA is dependent on where you are stationed. Also, substance allowance, that allowance for military that do not use the chow hall is determined in much the same way. And again, depends on where you are stationed. I would recommend that you visit the Military Regulations pertaining to the comptroller's Office. The guidance is clear. The only thing that is guaranteed is the basic pay the person is already receiving, future pay raises are dependent on the government, military, budget. He scared me too! Nothing that I could put my finger on, it was just something that my mind shouted not to trust! No, not the skin tone.... still can not put my finger on it, but he still scares me. His ignorance aside, he just seems to have a mission or goal that he has not shared with America. I worry for our Nation.

All I can say is I'm proud I did not v**e for Obama because I've always had this terrible gut feeling he had something evil about him. Right off the bat, there was something that scared me about that man....and it's not about the color of his damn skin, so don't think about using that as a reply in your angry post. I used to feel Hitler was the most evil and worst person in the world, but Obama makes him look like an angel. Like I've said before, just wait till the real Obama shows who he really is. It's going to scare your socks off.

I come from a long line of survivors. They taught me how to plant a garden, how to build a fire in a stove to cook. And I guess I am better off than some, I know how to barter and have put away a small fortune in Gold and Silver. My husband had a small armory of weapons and I am a real good shot. Military taught, have the medals with OLC... I was also taught how to make do when times are tough.

So, NO COMPUTER CHIP or any other marks for me. No tattoos, no rings in odd places, or bones in my nose. I am not a militant type of person, so I guess I would be one of the first to perish under an Armageddon type of situation. But, I would hold on as long as I can and I will be true to my beliefs, my unshakable faith in God, and my dignity until the end.

To be honest, that is what I think is being set up. If he has his civilian force to put down any protests, and if he succeeds in removing all arms from civilians..... well, he could set aside the 22nd Amendment. He has no respect for the Constitution. Remember him saying that the Constitution is antiquated? I think that he intends to nullify as much of it as he can. And to what end? To remain in office until his death. And the I do not foresee a Nation that would put up too much of a fuss.

There are scenarios that could lead to martial law and hence prolong his term. The economic bubble bursting, the Dollar collapse, the confiscation of a big percentage of portfolios to pay down the debt, race r**ts and even war.
This guy is crazy, dangerous and illogical.

What will they do if someone does not have, and can not afford to have the new improved insurances? Penalize them with more taxes? If they can not afford to pay for the insurance, how would they be expected to pay a penalty? They say they will not put these people in jail, so what will they do? Keep charging them until they pass away? If so, the IRS will still not get any money because you can not hold a dead person liable for unpaid debts unless their spouse files with them.... So, note to all...if you want to not pay this tax, then do not file a tax return with your spouse. Which brings another question. Many people do not file tax returns because they will owe the IRS...how many more people will just stop filing?

The IRS is reminding people that the individual mandate still exists and that it must be paid and submitted with tax returns in 2015. Naturally, the individual mandate tax isn't being called the individual mandate tax. Instead, it's creepily being called the "shared responsibility tax." In other words, "you need to pay for other people's healthcare so Obamacare won't collapse" or "other people's health problems are now your problems, time to pay up." Americans for Tax Reform has the details:

President Obama’s Internal Revenue Service today quietly released a series of Obamacare “Health Care Tax Tips” warning Americans that they must obtain “qualifying” health insurance – as defined by the federal government – or face a “shared responsibility payment” when filing their tax returns in 2015. The term “shared responsibility payment” refers to the Obamacare individual mandate tax, one of at least seven tax hikes in the healthcare law that directly hit families making less than $250,000 per year.

In “Four Tax Facts about the Health Care Law for Individuals” the agency writes:

Your 2014 tax return will ask if you had insurance coverage or qualified for an exemption. If not, you may owe a shared responsibility payment when you file in 2015.

In “The Individual Shared Responsibility Payment- An Overview” the agency warns Americans they must prove they were covered each and every month of the year:

For any month in 2014 that you or any of your dependents don’t maintain coverage and don’t qualify for an exemption, you will need to make an individual shared responsibility payment with your 2014 tax return filed in 2015.

What this means is the IRS will be policing whether or not an individual has health insurance. If they don't, they must pay the tax. The IRS will also be looking at who has "Cadillac" health plans for further taxation.

My next bumper sticker: honk if I'm paying for your healthcare.

Fine women that were educated and refined. I guess the bar has been really lowered and we will not see refinement in the WH for many years to come. Sad to mourn the death of dignity.

Not quite. I see no further discussion because the decision was made. I do not care if you continue the "debate" as long as you want, it will just be without any further interest or input from me.

I have no idea who the "church lady" is, so your closing remark is lost on me. Your thumbs down does not affect me either.... you see, I would have to have some emotional connection to you to have your opinion matter.

Do you remember when he talked about his "civilian national security force?" Think about it. Dismantle the military because they take an oath to the country and defense thereof. Who does a civilian national security force report to? Homeland? White House? Do they do an oath to protect the Nation or to protect whomever is in power? Other dictators dismantled the military before they took total control. I do not need to go into details, I know that you do your research.

Why are you confused?? This is after all what he is after. He wants the military to quit so he does not have to bother firing them. It's bad enough that he is firing some of our top generals, but he can't take the time to fire all the low life's, so he just makes them mad enough to quit. It would also look bad if he started firing them, besides, this way he can save some money to spend on other things he wants to spend money on. Of course, if he REALLY wanted to save some money, he could try following the Constitution. That would save a BUNCH of money. I think it is past time for a nice little march on Washington and let these clowns know exactly who owns this government and who decides what is Constitutional or not. The nation is moving forward. Most of us, including many Republicans like Senator McCain, Senator Flake, and Gov. I'm sure most Arizona businesses breathed a collective sigh of relief at having dodged a boycott of their desert resorts, the Super Bowl, and corporate relocations.

Kudos to Gov. Brewer and the leaders who sit at the adult table of the Republican party. The NFL and Major League baseball tip their hats.

Kevyn,

All First Ladies pick a cause to champion. Most pick a cause that deals with children; their education, drug addiction, orphanages and such. Now, with the background of MS. Obama, she has a very short list to select a cause. She is not a champion for America, she is the first First Lady to say that she was not proud of America. She is not good in public appearances, hell she does not even know the proper hand to use to place on her heart when the Anthem is played. When she opens her mouth, she does not endear herself to American general population. So, what could she do, other than vacation every 5 weeks? Oh, she works out at the gym 7 days a week for 4 hours each day.....a natural for physical education and what a person should not eat.

This has nothing to do with h**e. It only has to do with her qualifications and what message she could present without being phony.

Her point in the interview is that many American family's have become so used to eating carry out and pre prepared food that the kids never learn to cook for themselves. You would think that her work encouraging family's to grow, prepair and enjoy healthy food together would appeal to conservitives, are they really so blinded by h**e that they must reject everything associated with our President?

No, not really. Did you even read her remarks? Or watch her announcement? Probably not. You will wait for the Liberals to declare their victory in the news that they have bought.

Our nation's young people are intelligent; yes, they make mistakes but that is part of growing up. I am sure that some will take the time to reflect on the actual verbiage of the bill, exactly why the governor vetoed the bill, and base their final opinion on facts rather than just what is reported by news media.

BTW, if you think the news media examines a story and how valid it is; think Justin Bieber and the protest in GA. The same story was reported by CBS, NBC, and CNN.
