U.S. Attorney John Durham is compiling troubling evidence in his investigation of the origins of the Obama administrations counter-intelligence probe of the 2016 Trump campaign that goes beyond "mistakes," said Attorney General William Barr.

"My own view is that the evidence shows that we're not dealing with just mistakes or sloppiness. There is something far more troubling here, and we're going to get to the bottom of it," he said in an interview with the Fox News Channel's Laura Ingraham aired Thursday night.

"And if people broke the law, and we can establish that with the evidence, they will be prosecuted," he said.

Last fall, Durham's review was upgraded to a criminal investigation, giving the prosecutor the power to impanel a grand jury and issue indictments.

"He is looking to bring to justice people who are engaged in abuses if he can show that they were criminal violations, and that's what the focus is on," Barr said of Durham.

The attorney general noted it takes time to build a case on events that went on for more than two years.

"So, he's diligently pursuing it," Barr said.

Durham likely will issue a report of his findings, he said.

Already, Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has issued a report finding at least 17 "significant errors and omissions" related to the Obama administration's applications to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court for warrants to spy on the Trump campaign in its investigation.

Horowitz, however, presented evidence that the problems went beyond "errors and omissions," indicating deliberate attempts to deceive the court.

Barr told Ingrahan, "The people who abused FISA have a lot to answer for."

See William Barr's interview in Laura Ingraham:

'One of the greatest travesties in American history'

The Obama DOJ and FBI witheld excupatory information and used as primary evidence former British spy Christopher Steele's salacious and unverified dossier. The anti-Trump research, based on anonymous Russian sources, was funded by Hillary Clinton's p**********l campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Horowitz found the FBI failed to disclose to the FISA court the fact that Steele's primary source of information disputed much of the dossier's contents.

"I think it's possible to put in a regime that would make it very hard either to willfully circumvent FISA or to do so sloppily without due regard for the rights of the American person involved and also to make it very clear that any misconduct will be discovered and discovered fairly promptly," Barr said in the Fox News interview. "So, I do think we can put in safeguards that will enable us to go forward with this important tool."

The only person known to be under criminal investigation by Durham is former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who altered a document in FISA warrant filings. The document was an email that said Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, the target of the FISA warrants, was an FBI source, which would exonerate him. But Clinesmith changed the wording of the email to say Page was "not a source."

Durham also is believed to be reviewing allegations that former CIA Director John Brennan pushed for a biased result in the January 2017 intelligence assessment that concluded Russia was interfering in the 2016 e******n.

"I think the president has every right to be frustrated, because I think what happened to him was one of the greatest travesties in American history," Barr told Ingraham.

"Without any basis, they started this investigation of his campaign, and even more concerning, actually is what happened after the campaign, a whole pattern of events while he was president to sabotage his presidency — or at least have the effect of sabotaging the presidency."

Barr affirmed Trump's decision to fire Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, who handled the Ukraine whistleblower complaint that led to the Democrats' partisan impeachment of the president.

"From the vantage point of the Department of Justice, he had interpreted his statute, which is a fairly narrow statute, that gave him jurisdiction over wrongdoing by intelligence people, and tried to turn it into a commission to explore anything in the government and immediately reported to Congress without letting the Executive Branch look at it and determine whether there was any problem,” Barr said.

"So, I think the president was correct in firing him."

The organization of church and worship service is to encourage unsafe touching or proximity.

What part of that is wrong from a medical point of view.

Why does anyone need help in channeling their beliefs...if one's belief are so fragile, maybe you should question the purpose of faith...at all?

Do you wear a safety belt when you drive because it makes sense or because it is a primary offense in your state?

I have to tell you that my dogs have better ability to reason that you have. Your comments make no sense.

Blocking live-streamed sermons, shutting down chat groups

The Chinese C*******t Party's crackdown on church services in homes and buildings now extends to online services, which churches around the world have conducted amid the c****av***s p******c.

Bitter Winter, a magazine focused on human rights in China, reported Chinese authorities have prevented Christians from accessing live-streamed church services.

A pastor of an unofficial house church explained, "Our first and only online gathering was blocked by the government soon after it started."

The report said a pastor's online service in the eastern province of Shandong was stopped less than 20 minutes after it began on Feb. 9. A few days later, he unsuccessfully attempted another online platform.

Local C*******t Party officials have issued public notices that churches are required to stop live-streaming any of their activities immediately.

The United Front Work Department of the Nanhu district in Jiaxing in the eastern province of Zhejiang also ordered a halt to all WeChat audio broadcasts.

China's State Administration for Religious Affairs issued an order in September 2018 banning the live-streaming or broadcasting of "religious activities."

The Measures for the Management of Religious Information on the Internet stated: "No organizations or individuals will be allowed to live-stream or broadcast religious activities, including praying, burning incense, ordinations, scripture chanting, holding Mass, worshipping or receiving baptism online in the form of text, photo, audio or video."

Online activities by religious believers are also heavily monitored, Bitter Winter said.

A Three-Self church in Laoling city in Shandong demanded all the members of its WeChat groups disclose their names.

"Encouraged by the government, many factories and public venues have been re-opened, but religious venues are still barred," a Three-Self believer from Henan. "Religious meetings are forbidden, and all channels of religious communication are blocked."

I like garter snakes, ring neck snakes, black racers, and corn snakes. all I really don't like are copperheads and rattlesnakes, because they are poisonous. the other ones are necessary for control of rats and mice as well as many types of insect that ruin crops and spread disease. But then I also really like toads, so I guess I am really weird.

Thank you. A superb idea.

You are welcome. Each AKC breed has a national breed club, many have local clubs. Start with a local dog show and ask around. Please also research the breeds you are considering to make sure they are what you want. Also go to a couple of obedience trials and talk to those who show both conformation and performance. Get a couple of AKC Gazette magazines and contact the person who writes the column for those breeds you are interested in. We have a good friend who writes two breed columns, for two different terrier breeders, but there are people involve in each breed you are considering.

May the love of God strengthen your hearts and fill your life with joy. The gifts from God are every where if we only open our eyes and look. Three does , one very pregnant stopped to visit and eat their corn this morning, leaving with a backward glance and a nod of their heads. The pilliated woodpeckers are noisily searching out food in the broken tree limbs that the heavy windstorm two days ago left behind. We do not morn the broken limbs as they will provide homes for a number of Carolina Wrens, and shortly a source of bugs for many other birds, and, for us, a gift of being able to watch them as they live their lives in Gods home and world. May Gods grace be with you and your always and Happy Easter to you.

Gonna spend mind on a new dog. We miss having a dog as we lost our Zoe shortly after Hurricane Michael took our home last year. She was a rescue dog and more pit bull than anything else yet she was so gentle and loving. We would get another rescue dog except c****av***s quarantine has people flocking for rescue dogs I suppose to help pass the time. We're still looking though. Contracted and installed a $2700 fence in pr********n of our new family member.

When you are, ready there is a source you may not have thought about. Many good, reliable breeders have older animals available for very little money. Often these dogs are Champions, have had a couple of litters, and will be spayed before they are offered for sale. In order to have room for the promising puppy, breeders need to find home for dogs that are 5 to 6 years old, which may give you 8 years or more with a dog that is used to people, even strangers handling them, are crate trained and well trained on leash, and are adaptable to new situations. Check it out with a number of local all breed dog clubs and you might find just the right breeder and just the right dog.

Unfortunately people like kemmer thrive on being annoying, thinking that such behavior makes him the center of attention in a positive way. Unfortunately they don't realize that they drive most people away and cause other people to reject him an often drive thinking people away from OPP all together. Maybe if we all just ignored him and a few others like him, he might get the hint. Then when and if he posts something thoughtful an worth responding to, just respond as if this change in behavior was the normal way he posts. Maybe we could recondition his thought patterns and be able to have a pleasant conversation with him. Or it might just scare him so much that he just leaves OPP . Either way would work out better for the rest of us, anyhow.
