How you answer this question will tell me everything I need to know about you. Here it is. With all of the lockdowns and other c***d related crap going on, does anyone really believe that the ones responsible actually care about saving lives, or are there ulterior motives involved.

Definitely ulterior motives like total power and control. Regardless of effect on citizens. These clowns wouldn't last the day in China and some other countries.

They piled it on the Sphinx. Ugly frickin thing.

True fact- when the Sphinx was rediscovered in the 1700's it was almost totally covered in sand.

True enough but since the Great pyramid is 480 feet high and not counting the others, that is one hell of hole to dig and a mountain of sand to cope with. I think it is easier to mine and t***sport the blocks and build it.

I think they built them in a hole slid the stones down whole thing was filled with sand so they always had a solid surface to work on inner passage dug out later most likely all but the very top was ment to be buried.

Where did they put the sand from the hole?

As a teenager, I lived with my grandparents in a small town called Perris. It's located on the Western fringes of the Mojave Desert in southern California. It's also fairly close to the San Andreas fault line so I was pretty much used to tremors. Things didn't start getting dicey until the Loma Prietas quake hit the Bay Area in 1989 and, yes, I was there. However, the tremors of recent times had their epicenters near the Sierra Nevada Mountains. In fact, I accurately pinpointed the epicenter of the first one about a decade ago, making quite an impression on one of my neighbors who was from Texas. I explained to her that when you live in earthquake country all of your life as I have, you develope a knack for such things after a while. In the meantime, I'm asking for prayers for the friends and neighbors which I left behind because I don't think they understand that tremors should be taken seriously. I believe that it's only a matter of time before the Sequoia Hotel collapses even if a major earthquake never strikes Sacramento. The Sequoia is over a hundred years old and I believe that it'll only take a couple or three more tremors to completely knock it down.

I’m so saddened by your post. I hope the facility has great Christmas plans for all.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL there.

So sorry to have saddened you. Just enjoy Christmas. The staff has been decorating since the Thanksgiving decorations were removed. They have placed a decoration on every table. The fireplace is lovely. It is very festive. They take good care of us. I have no complaint and we will be fine.

Who the hell has the right to lock anyone up??? Unless the have done something against the law!??

I guess it is under the rules of CDC. You know the front for the c****es. Subjugate the masses. Cut out religion, restrict their movement, make them wear masks, etc. Guess you have to play to keep your license to operate.
BTW, there are about 40 of us here. Rules are somewhat relaxed. We now get to have lunch and supper in the dining room with 1 person at a table and wearing masks. Previously we were served in our cell oops, I meant apartment.

Vet2Vet Thank you for your service as an elite warrior in the SS. I lost a fellow Lion who served in the SS, quality guy. His daughter & I are buds. I'm not an emotional type but when I read they've got you both locked down in an asstd. living facility for so long I got very upset. I will pray for you both as if you were the parents I don't have. I wish I could rescue both of you as my last mission of meaning on this earth. Merry Christmas & God Bless !!

Thank you. You bought tears to my eyes with your compassion. We are coping.
I know I have hit my last 'liberty port'.

Locked in ? ????Why????
Because of the CDC rules governing ' nursing homes' though we are 'assisted living'. There is a difference to everyone except politicians. I got out last Dec 16th for a Dr. appointment. Also had the wellness exam in June. Those are the only times I have been out of the building in over a year. Wife got to sneak off to the dentist in August because she had a toothache. Lucky girl!

We get temps taken several times weekly. Not even the mailman can come in. Only employees.

Will you cancel Christmas or any other gatherings with UK our friends and family due to C***d ?

Not applicable to wife and I. We are 'locked in' our facility and can go nowhere or have visitors.
Merry Christmas to the entire group.

In a convent in Ireland, the 98-year-old Mother Superior lay dying.
The nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her last journey
comfortable. They tried giving her warm milk to drink but she refused it.
One of the nuns took the glass back to the kitchen.

Then, remembering a bottle of Irish Whiskey that had been received
as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened it and poured a generous
amount into the warm milk. Back at Mother Superior's bed, they held
the glass to her lips. The frail nun drank a little, then a little more and
before they knew it, she had finished the whole glass down to the
last drop.

As her eyes brightened, the nuns thought it would be a good
opportunity to have one last talk with their spiritual leader .
" Mother," the nuns asked earnestly, "Please give us some of
your wisdom before you leave us." She raised herself up in bed
on one elbow, looked at them and said:

" DON'T SELL THAT COW."

A smile - is a sign of joy.

A hug - is a sign of love.

A laugh - is a sign of happiness.

And a friend like me? - Well that's just a sign of good taste!!

We'll be friends until I am senile.

Then we'll be new friends.
