Good one! I thought that maybe you were going to say that the Democrat's brain was higher because of the rarity!

The Dutchman wrote:
Brain t***splant

In the hospital where a family member lay gravely ill, the relatives gathered in the waiting room. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. "I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces. "The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain t***splant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky, but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the BRAIN." The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a time, someone asked, "How much will a brain cost?"

The doctor quickly responded, "$5,000 for a Democrat's brain; $200 for a Republican's brain."

The moment turned awkward. Some of the Democrats actually had to try not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the Republicans. A man unable to control his curiosity, finally blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, "Why is the Democrat's brain so much more than a Republican's brain?"

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to price the Republicans' brains a lot lower because they're used."

And this is all to evident reading what the dumbohcraps post in here Eh.....

I am taking it that you fall into that superior group that waits to see rather than jumping into discussions.....but, still I see you join in each of the threads with your opinions on the subject matter. Curious!

The reasonable and well-informed find these threads tiresome and ugly. That is usually the swing v**e in e******ns. Anyone doing any intelligent assessment of anything does so with a wait and see attitude and avoiding presuppositions. This is wise, not waffling. One may want to interpret fence-seating on certain issues as only waiting for what is opportune politically, yet that is not always or even generally true. Immigration and religious freedom are two of those subjects that need far more thought and enlightened legislation. Not to automatically concede to the feeding frenzy on either side of these topics to devour the opposition in righteous indignation does not make a person amoral or a coward.

Your rental cars are entirely insufficient for any type of pursuit situation. Cornering in city streets at any speed over 50 miles per hour results in excessive tire slippage and near overturning.
Were it not for my superior driving ability, the irate Iranian clerk and police cruisers surely would have apprehended me. Fortunately, portions of the exhaust system fell in the cruiser's path.
Is it really to much to ask that your cars be capable of speeds over 110 miles per hour? Over my entire trip of some 1800 miles more...

Is Tzedakah the word for love or charity?

Actually, both sorta. It is the spirit of giving without condition. So it can mean love, kindness, charity, all of those things. It does not have a real English t***slation. In a Jewish home, we have a jar that is filled by visitors and family of change; it is given to the needy. This is an act of Tzedakah. When we go to our kitchens to prepare food for a neighbor, this is considered Tzedakah. Stopping to help someone with car problems.... get the idea? When we sit with the sick, when we put a bandage on a child's scrape, when we do not return insult for insult or a smack across the face...... The Hebrew word "tzedakah" is commonly t***slated as "charity" or "tithe." But this is misleading. "Charity" implies that your heart motivates you to go beyond the call of duty. "Tzedakah," however, literally means "righteousness" -- doing the right thing. A "tzaddik," likewise, is a righteous person, someone who fulfills all his obligations, whether in the mood or not. This was not an easy thing to explain, but I hope that I did not confuse you.

I am impressed, I agree with you. But, we would have to pay for the sin of lying if we were indeed not too busy. This would be an individual problem for the cater. You do know that there is a well know; well with us Jew, about something similar happening. http://www.jewishworldreview.com/hillel/goldberg_talk_to.php3#.UxaO4Xzn9jo

Tzedakah is not the original word used in those verses, but I guess the t***slation of charity is close. This, I can agree is important and it is something that we control; unlike an emotion.

BTW I do like those verses; so pretty!

Why address your comments to me? I was not party to the discussion on big business. I supplied a current update on the Ukraine.

I like most feel that there may not be much in it for us.

We may not gain but for most of us it will not be any worse than we have it now.

There are lots of peace time projects that can be done with the money save by not going to war, or having expensive standing army's.

You are entirely welcome. Keep in mind that this was not an orthodox, but middle of the road. Most things are the same, but there are some differences. Go, you will be glad you did. Yes, all men cover their heads.

G****l w*****g, do you not know that term is not PC anymore? It is now "c*****e c****e" as though that has not been happening on earth for the past few million years! Bundle up, stay warm.

I will send you a PM on the story. Yes, there are differences in Jew, I am from what you say orthodox. We have our services in the morning. Although this is not an orthodox, it will help you in seeing and understanding some of what you can expect to see. This video is more of the middle of the road. http://www.interfaithfamily.com/spirituality/synagogue/What_To_Expect_At_A_Synagogue_-_Video.shtml

Again being ignorant I have heard that there are various sects of Jewish people much like different denominations within the Christian community. I have heard of the reformed Jewish synagogue and I believe that there are two more distinct groups or belief systems like and I am using my words here the more devout or conservative Jews and then there is a middle of the road group as well. I also understand that all synagogues meet on Saturday or the last day of the week. Are they more likely to meet in the morning or are there differing times for their meetings. Also unless the meaning of the story is forbidden to be told I would really like to hear the true meaning to the story. I also feel that so much has been lost to the Christian community by not teaching Hebrew and our joint heritages as well as a more universal and compatible existence between the two. Who knows.

You are entirely right. She may have gone there to make a point. She also may not have. Did you ask yourself the question of whether or not the point was worth making? Its not extortion to want and expect equal rights under the law. Neither our constitution nor the Canadian law says that rights are only for white conservative Christians.

Understandable position. You may want to expand your last part; "only for white conservative Christians" and add Black, Liberals, atheist, or sewer rats..... and this can be expanded to include the whole of the created world. Laws should protect both sides; that is the meaning of justice. It is a equal protection.

Thank you for your interest in my belief. Our synagogues are open and there is a place set aside for non-Jewish people to sit. Now there is a vast differences in our faith, as there is in Christianity, so when you visit keep this in mind. You will be welcomed, with curiosity, and treated well.

Not being Jewish nor having any Jewish friends although this is not my choice just facts does make it difficult. I would truly love and have at one time thought that I would love to attend a Jewish synagogue and study the Jewish faith. I believe a lot is missed by not having the Jewish roots as well as the Christian teachings to go with it. I have so often felt like there is some vital parts missing in the Christian experience that could be made so much more beautiful and with even more understanding and meaning if only we had that Jewish training and understanding that would give us all so much more depth. I often feel like the Hatfield and McCoys living on each side of the fence and never truly grasping what is on the other side. We each seem to have a degree of understanding but we don't have the complete picture of what the other truly knows. Oh could you give us the true meaning of this story I would truly love to hear what it is and the meaning of the story of what the Father felt. I do believe this is a heavenly story but I could also be wrong there as well.
