Are you serious? Never noticed the letter after a politician's name? You know, in news articles? Most of my marine friends are pretty smart, so you're probably kidding, but just in case:

(D)= Democrat
(R)= Republican
(I)= Independent

Wrong country padre... you reference Afghanistan & Osama Bin Laden … 911... not Iraq & Saddam Hussein... I know its very confusing ,Cheney lied to Congress about WMD's in Iraq for oil sales & resources ... our beef was in Afghanistan not Iraq … Cheney made that up to control Iraqi resources … Afghanistan has nothing of value … that's why Bush never got Bin Laden...no money in it... Cheney & Halliburton should be tried for war profiteering & treason... or let the world court nail them for war crimes in which they are trying to now...

That is typical l*****t nonsense.

If you really want to name a crook in government, try Hillary Clinton. Pay-to-play as SecState, lots of moolah to the Clinton Foundation + a 500k speaking engagement in Moscow for Bill for the Uranium One deal...

But I forget -- if the name ends in (D), "nothing to see here."

That is so tired.

On the bright side, the American v****g public seems to be finally catching on to the double standards that are an essential part of today's Democratic Party.

At the end of the 1990s, Bubba Clinton stated that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, and needed to be dealt with.

Prior to our invading Iraq and firing Saddam, a plethora of intelligence agencies of numerous other countries reported that Saddam had WMD.

Saddam had previously employed WMD against the Kurds, and during his prior warfare against Iran, WE sold him WMDs.

Funnily enough, with all that evidence, the left claimed that "Bush lied"... Presumably, this is connected to "Cheney lied."

After we fired the Husseins, evidence was found that there likely WAS WMD in Iraq, but naturally, since it went against the narrative of the Angry Left, the usual suspects in the MSM did their usual routine and propagandized the reality out of existence.

But that's an old debate, one the Republicans, in their spinelessness of the time, went ahead and "gave" to the Democrats in the interests of moving along.

About the only war the Democrats seem to avoid making too much noise about these days is Vietnam, which they got us into, even imposing a draft... And to show what kind of creatures they are, it was these same Democrats who threw those veterans under a bus and still spit on them to this day.

I don't know where Dems obtain their statistical data, but it's definitely not from Earth.

Whenever the Dems take over they drop several metric tons of regulations and forced wage increases, to say nothing of higher taxes on businesses large and small, which result in an understandable flurry of downsizing and outsourcing (see "human nature," a phenomenon that those on the left don't seem to grasp), and suddenly U.S. economic growth plummets (see The Obama Administration, and "2% is the new normal"), while unemployment increases, then they Crow about what great things they've done for the middle class and the lower middle class.

Meanwhile, notice how the lion's share of support for today's Democrats comes from megarich "progressives" in ultra-liberal cities and states while most working class people in every other city and state v**e Republican, because they are down here at ground level (wherein lies REALITY) and see that Ronald Reagan was absolutely correct when he said, "It's not that liberals are dumb, it's just that they know so much that isn't so."

.And Kavanaugh's a supreme law breaker why? Because the desperate Dems brought in a ringer to falsely accuse him of a crime without an iota of evidence?

There's a very American custom/ right here, it's called "presumption of innocence," or "innocent until proven guilty."

I can't help but remark that when I first saw the title of this thread the other day, my first thought was:

"On what sort of expertise is this forecast based?"

I guess none. No

All the Republicans were doing was following the "Biden Rule" as in Joe Biden, that when a president is on the way out, they wait, as a courtesy, for the incoming POTUS to name the next one.

Rules made up by the Democrats only seem to apply when it's convenient for the Democrats.

Biden's bit involved waiting for the next congressional e******ns, which is even a lesser degree since Congress doesn't appoint justices, they only confirm them.

Therefore the rule would apply even more strongly when applied to a president and his getting to pick the next appointment.

When McConnell declined to initiate a confirmation process for Garland, the "Biden Rule" was cited.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Then the Dems would have succeeded in returning the gross deed did to Obama in denying him his constitutional right to appoint a supreme justice as the situation allowed for it.That situation was reminiscent of the `Jim Crow` era, where if a Black man got a job of authority, the nature of jim crow would automatically marginalize, and figure head him,it had racial overtones .

That would be interesting. Imagine if President Trump kept nominating and the Dems kept producing Evidence-Free® accusers, each nominee would be disqualified because his reputation no longer qualified him for SCOTUS.

Nah, Kavanaugh's fine.

There were two reasons the Dems were so aggressive in opposing the Kavanaugh confirmation, two and only two:

1. He is a Trump appointee. These people are so bitter and angry that the American people elected Donald Trump rather than Hillary Clinton that it has boiled up to the point of pure malevolence. Given that today's Democrats are not well known for such qualities as maturity, morality or just plain civility, they were willing to slander, fabricate, harass or do anything to stop him being confirmed.

2. Unlike the appointees of recent Democrat Administrations, who nominate "progressive" justices who will disregard the letter of the Constitution when it is politically advantageous for the left, Kavanaugh is an originalist whose opinions will strictly reflect the Constitution, which is the job of Supreme Court justices.

As we learned during the Obama years, the Democratic Party, who were bought out by the far left some time ago, have little use for the Constitution, especially for the Bill of Rights.

With Kavanaugh bringing the Court to a 5-4 majority of Constitutionalist justices, the left owned Democrats will not be able to tread all over our liberty anymore; true, freedom loving Americans will have a Supreme Court we can depend on to protect the rights guaranteed us by the nation's founders and stave off the left's continuous attempts to quagmire us in a morass of Godless totalitarianism.

Extreme sarcasm!

The only reason the economy is now "trending up" is because of the tax cuts and deregulation that have occurred under President Trump.

A bunch of left wing political zombies can repeat Obama mantras all they want, but the fact of the matter is "the tax cuts" and "deregulation."

Even the businesses themselves who have begun hiring again have attested to that.

Face it, it's all about human nature, which l*****ts refuse to take into account. When you are trying to run a business at a decent profit and your government smothers said business with costly regulation and the highest corporate tax rate on the planet, you cut hours, you downsize or, if necessary, you relocate to another country in order to keep your business afloat. You don't just keep on keeping on watching your fortunes fade into the sunset.

On a smaller scale, look at the liberal run states like California that regulate and tax and generally punish companies for success. Those companies eventually leave for more business friendly states, leaving unemployed former employees in their wake.

That's why it's so difficult to take most of these "progressives" seriously. They just don't think, that or perhaps they've never been in business themselves and haven't a clue.

Well... Ahem!

Evidently, the "case against Kavanaugh" didn't pan out to much, all the false accusations, the babyish tantrums, the high drama, and for all that, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, having been confirmed despite the best efforts of America's own Bolshevik brigades, will be sworn in this evening by Chief Justice John Roberts.

So much for the silliness of the insignificant left.

Next stop, the midterm e******ns, now that the American people have had the chance to witness, first hand, the menu of mayhem today's Democrats have to offer up.
