Louie: I believe Trump's wall is r****t because its intent is to "keep people out' -and with Trump it doesn't matter if they are fleeing poverty, violence, etc., it depends on their skin color. Trump said he "wants immigrants from Norway." The walls built in the Old Testament were to keep out enemy armies that sought to take over the country -those walls had nothing to do with immigration. Even the Bible tells us in several places: "Do not forsake doing good to the immigrants who live amongst you, you were once immigrants...and I am the Lord thy God." So, on that alone, Trump is defying God.

You are overlooking the numerous amount of good things that have come to America through immigration. Most of the 'modern day' inventions we all benefit from were created by minorities. The group of Pilgrims that landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620 were kept alive that first winter thanks to the generosity of Native Indians who taught the Pilgrims how to ice fish, plant corn, and use virtually every part of a k**led animal to survive. Those Pilgrims were in fact IMMIGRANTS.

Of course I studied socialism and c*******m in school. You complain about those concepts. Do you take advantage of Social Security or Medicare? If so, you are benefitting from "socialist" programs. If you truly understand the bible, and how God intended that man should live, you would think God is a socialist....read the 2nd chapter in the Book of Acts about how the first church of God was began.

There has been more than enough "proof" of Trump's crimes. Go back to ordering Cohen to pay off Stormy and Karen McDougal....with campaign money...that is a crime. Installing your family members into paid positions in the WH is nepotism -not sure if that is an actual crime, but its damned unethical. And today republicans in Congress are questioning "what qualifications did H****r B***n have to get such a great job with Burisma?" Apparently, H****r has more qualifications than either Ivanka or Jared - but I don't hear one republican questioning why are they in the WH?

Taking money from the taxpayers for personal benefit is also unethical and illegal. Every time Trump has foreign dignitaries, his staff members, and Secret Service stay at one of his own properties -Trump is benefitting - illegally. Every time Trump sends out a tweet pushing for or against certain companies or individuals he is affecting the markets. What do you suppose is the possibility that Trump pushes for companies that he can benefit from? Surely he's not dumb enough to push for something that would hurt him -like say - a universal flat hotel room fee? Surely not.
I've said many times that your choice is your choice. However, it only makes good sense to consider that you may have fallen for the biggest con game in this century....apparently, millions did.
Louie: I believe Trump's wall is r****t because it... (show quote)

There you go again with only your supposition of what Trump meant. He only used Norway as an illustration. What the Lord our God spoke of was meant for us as individuals and not as nations. If you have retained any Godly knowledge it was said that we should abide by the Lords laws and those of man. It seems you only retain what you want to hear and retain. The good thing you mention of good things are from legal immigrants that invented many new products that have helped our country become more prosperous and giving than any other country in the world. Your quote "do not forsake immigrants who live amongst you". That was said in a much earlier time in this world when there were no laws about immigration into and out of countries. By denying admission of i*****l i*******ts without going thru the proper procedure's is the law of the land, which the Lord has said we must obey.
In the next paragraph about Social Security and Medicare, most have paid for the insurance with our own money paid over all the years we have worked. That isn't something given to us, we have paid for those with our personal sweat, toil and dedication to the jobs we had held. Socialism is something given to one without any input by those people, it isn't welfare. I worked for those benefits for fifty one years and others, in this country have worked many years to have those benefits provided to us. Socialism is where the government provides for you no matter if you work or don't work,
As for your next little piece of BS. Trump may have had Cohen pay off those two women, but it hasn't been proven he used any campaign money. If that had been so it would have been found in the campaign books that had to be kept on donations and expenditures by the campaign. Not found to be true for now.
If you have had any knowledge and tried to find out if either of Trumps relatives are paid a salary by our government you would have learned they aren't paid a cent by the government.
Next, for a fact, do you know if Trump is paid by the government for any of his staff or secret service that stays at his resorts. From what I have read, it is stated if any President receives any monies, over and above what he receives as a wage for his Presidency, for any stays on any of his properties, he has to include that in his tax reports. Since he receives no monies for being the President he has no income from the U. S..
As for Jared and Ivanka I have read they receive no pay, if that is incorrect please inform me where to find the correct information. Jared and Ivanka have proven to be a good business minded people with the individual endeavors they have done. Jared was one of the people that worked on the trade deal with Mexico and Canada. That couldn't be said for H****r B***n is he has been a dope head and has had other problems. You can't say the same things about Jared and Ivanka. Do you have any facts to point to that shows Trump uses his tweets to provide him profit. I don't believe that is the case. So once again you seem to cast aspersions upon Trump with no facts.
One last statement by me. You keep stating Trump has committed many crimes, but none of what he has been accused, has been proven to be true. We and I mean all Americans keep hearing Trump has committed crimes but with over three years none of the accusation's has been proven to have been true. The Dems have moved from one thing to another time after another when having lost on a point. They stated they wanted Trump impeached Just after he was sworn in as President and even before he had won the nomination. They have been searching for a crime, in their minds, any crime will do whether true or false. They should have had proof before they even started an investigation, but proof was only in their politically aligned agenda.

So are you now saying that you "defend Trump with eyes wide open?" If you defend 'his policies' you are in fact defending him Louie -and you know the bible - remember it says "...a man cannot serve two masters...he will love the one and h**e the other....?"
Louie, in the military it is taught that "there are few things more worthy than honor and integrity." We know Trump missed those valuable lessons because he took five military deferments.

Louie, where do you get the notion that Trump has "asked the Lord for redemption?" One thing common in Christian doctrine across the world is: "once you repent from your sins, you must make serious effort to not repeat those sins...." Every time Trump tells another whopper lie, covers it up, and then blames it on someone else is proof that he has not repented. Yes, I pray for his soul each day, as I do for all people. Yet, I am not convinced that Trump even really knows the Lord, so thinking he has repented is a long ways off for me.
The "walls" in the bible were built to keep "the enemy" out -those who would seek to enter the city and rape, pillage, and murder like thieves. Your comparison of Trump's r****t wall to those walls in the bible is simply not the same. Further, those walls in the OT were built centuries before Jesus came to show mankind "the way, the t***h, and the life." You seem to want to mix certain necessities from the OT with the certainty of the NT.....trying to serve two masters....it doesn't work.

Anyway, the point I would like to make is this: if I take money from a thief -then I'm a thief -even if I didn't steal the money. If I deliberately abuse others with my words - I am an abuser. If I lie, repeatedly and continuously, for self enhancement -I am a liar. Now, are you willing to say that with all of those flaws, if I do one thing good (like giving a trillion dollar tax break to the richest and most wealthiest in the country) that makes me a good person worthy of your loyalty?

Please tell me that isn't so Louie....because if it is, you have sold yourself cheap. and that is sad.
So are you now saying that you "defend Trump ... (show quote)

Let us skip all of the other insults and get right down to just one issue. Where is your proof that Trumps walls for our country are r****t. True, there are many different race's that want into this country and do it illegally. There are also the same races of people that choose to enter legally. Is there a difference in the way they enter this country? Secondly, should we let every person, of all colors and races enter this country with no forethought of how they will help this country to prosper. No we shouldn't!There are Americans of all races that haven't had a good education and then these i******s take jobs these Americans could have had. There is a legal way to enter this country like many others but you progressives only want them in this country to provide the next generation of Democratic v**ers to eventually control all of the government? That would lead us to become another failed state where the elite will have all of the control. Your and my children, grand children and great grand children will be the ones to suffer under those conditions. Did you even learn about socialism and c*******m when school? I haven't sold myself out to anyone. If there is actual proof that Trump has really committed a crime while in office, I will have to denounce him for that crime, but not before. I pray that you have a great day and stop regurgitating some false allegations you have posted.

It doesn't matter at all. Trump can remove any person in the government, appointed by the President no matter who made the appointment. The President doesn't need to have a reason.

I believe that any President of this country has the obligation to ask a alliance partner, to investigate , what they believe to have been, a crime committed in a foreign country by Americans, especially if it is to have a American Congress man trying to get dirt on the opposition candidate. Where in the transcript does it state, Trump held monies that were to be for Ukrainian protection. I only have seen that he had asked for a favor. No coercion of any kind. Just false speculation from none other than the far left. Where would it ever hurt our countries security. Yahoo is a real journalistic forum to see the t***h about any conservative.

I guess Trump can only testify if Shifty Schitt give the approval. The Republicans have no say as to who may testimony or not. Have only the right to ask questions of the Dems witness's if approved by Schitt. But I guess that is OK in the Democrats world. This will be more of a Kangaroo court than anything else. Then a real court will be seen in action, by the Senate.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

1. How many steps does the guard take during his
walk across the tomb of the Unknowns and why?

21 steps. It alludes to the twenty-one gun salute, which is the
highest honor given any military or foreign dignitary.

2. How long does he hesitate after his about face to begin
hisreturn walk and why?

21 seconds for the same reason as answer number 1

3. Why are his gloves wet?

His gloves are moistened to prevent his losing his grip on the rifle.

4. Does he carry his rifle on the same shoulder all the time and if not, why not?

He carries the rifle on the shoulder away from the tomb.
After his march across the path, he executes an about face
and moves the rifle to the outside shoulder.

5. How often are the guards changed?

Guards are changed every thirty minutes, twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year.

6. What are the physical traits of the guard limited to?

For a person to apply for guard duty at the tomb, he must be between 5' 10' and 6' 2' tall and his waist size cannot exceed 30.' Other requirements of the Guard:
They must commit 2 years of life to guard the tomb, live in a barracks under the tomb, and cannot drink any alcohol on or off duty for the rest of their lives.
They cannot swear in public for the rest of their lives and cannot disgrace the uniform {fighting} or the tomb in any way. After two years, the guard is given a wreath pin that is worn on their lapel signifying they served as guard of the tomb. There are only 400 presently worn.
The guard must obey these rules for the rest of their lives or give up the wreath pin.

The shoes are specially made with very thick soles to keep the heat and cold from their feet. There are metal heel plates that extend to the top of the shoe in order to make the loud click as they come to a halt.
There are no wrinkles, folds or lint on the uniform.
Guards dress for duty in front of a full-length mirror.
The first six months of duty a guard cannot talk to anyone, nor watch TV.
All off duty time is spent studying the 175 notable people laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. A guard must memorize who they are and where they are interred.

Among the notables are: President Taft, Joe E. Lewis {the boxer} and Medal of Honor recipient Audie Murphy, {the most decorated soldier of WWII} of Hollywood fame.

Every guard spends five hours a day getting his uniforms ready for guard duty.

ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.

In 2003 as Hurricane Isabelle was approaching Washington , DC , our US Senate/House took 2 days off with anticipation of the storm. On the ABC evening news, it was reported that because of the dangers from the hurricane, the military members assigned the duty of guarding the
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier were given permission to suspend the assignment.
They respectfully declined the offer, 'No way, Sir!' Soaked to the skin, marching in the pelting rain of a tropical storm, they said that guarding the Tomb was not just an assignment, it was the highest honor that can
be afforded to a serviceperson.
The tomb has been patrolled continuously, 24/7, since 1930.
