Governor's c****av***s order 'bans homeschooling'
Critics blast back: 'Parents have a fundamental constitutional right to raise and educate their children'

Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's order closing public school buildings also bans homeschooling, which is unconstitutional, contends a legal non-profit in the state.

"The Great Lakes Justice Center calls upon Gov. Whitmer to correct this unconstitutional action and assure parents in Michigan that they may continue to safely home school their own children while the EO is in effect," the organization said in a statement Thursday.

The April 2 order states "in-person instruction for pupils in kindergarten through grade 12 … is suspended for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year."

TRENDING: Rush Limbaugh: 'Dems care more about playing petty partisan games than helping people'

It applies to all "non-public ... schools in the state."

"The governor clearly has the authority to close school buildings," the legal team acknowledged. However, "Michigan law defines home schools as nonpublic schools."

That means the executive order bars parents from directly teaching their children at home, the organization argued.

"While this may be an unintended consequence of faulty drafting, the EO's plain language bans all 'in-person instruction' of all children."

Great Lakes Justice spokesman David Kallman said: "The governor has no authority to direct nonpublic schools (i.e., private schools and home schools) to operate their educational programs and processes in any particular way. Further, parents have a fundamental constitutional right to raise and educate their children."

The organization noted the Michigan Constitution assigns leadership of public education to the State Board of Education, not the governor.

"Gov. Whitmer's EO usurps the authority of the State Board of Education over public schools," the organization said. "The governor overstepped her authority by ordering public schools to operate in a certain manner, to mandate educational credit, etc.

"The governor holds no legal authority to enact the expansive educational orders mandated in EO 2020-35. Declaring an emergency to deal with a public health crisis does not bestow control over the public-school system to the governor. When officials improperly exercise power beyond that provided in law it violates principles of good governance and the Rule of Law," the organization said.

"The Great Lakes Justice Center calls upon Gov. Whitmer to rewrite the EO consistent with the Constitution and the laws of the state of Michigan."

The governor's order also dictates the contents of "other than in-person" education.

It also continues food distribution to students, pay for school employees and the provision of "mental health support."

Trump is Right about the World Health Organization, Everything They Got Wrong about C****-**
By US Politics and News Last updated Apr 9, 2020

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is an Ethiopian microbiologist and is the Director General of the World Health Organization. He is also a Chinese dupe, who needs to look for another job.

In fact, President Trump, who has endured scurrilous criticism from Democrats and the mainstream media over his initial reaction to the c****av***s threat in January (when he banned flights coming in from W***n), may have taken his lead from W.H.O.’s initially (and tragically) bad calls.

The President has labeled W.H.O. as “very China-centric.” W.H.O., he said, “criticized and disagreed with my travel ban at the time I did it, and they were wrong.” Also, W.H.O. never promptly reported the outbreak when it took hold in China: “They missed the call. They could’ve called it months earlier. They would have known, and they should have known and they probably did know.”

Another doctor, Li Wenliang, had warned his Chinese colleagues about the outbreak of c****av***s. Dr. Li’s reward was a scary summons to the ChiCom Public Security Bureau in W***n to face accusations that he had made false statements and “disrupted public order.” Other arrests followed, but by mid-January cowed Chinese doctors were fully aware that C****-** had jumped from its bat-soup confines to humans, they just weren’t allowed to tell Europe or the U.S. that fact.

On January 14, W.H.O. announced that there was “no clear evidence of human-to-human t***smission” of the v***s.

Two weeks later, the W.H.O. Director traveled to Beijing and met with China’s president Xi Jinping. In an astonishing example of bad judgement the W.H.O. director was actually impressed by China’s response. Chinese authorities, he gushed, should be commended for “setting a new standard for outbreak control.” Then he followed up with a colossally naïve statement by praising the Chinese for their “openness for sharing information.”

Dr. Li, on the other hand, probably disagreed. He died after contracting c****av***s.
One daily glass clears arteries 5X better than leading statin?

The W.H.O. emergency committee–even after international medical authorities had discredited the Chinese health data—on January 23 debated on whether to declare C****-** a public-health emergency.

Unfortunately for the rest of the world, the W.H.O. Director argued that the Chinese data was good. Over the objections of other committee members, W.H.O. delayed.

That decision further delayed mobilizing public-health resources around the world. One committee member cited lousy reporting and even worse communication from the ChiComs as the source of W.H.O.’s bad decision.

Nevertheless, the W.H.O. Director ignored the egg-foo-young on his face and doubled down. After finally declaring an emergency on January 30, he sent his pal Xi even more kudos: On February 20, he shamelessly reported that Chinese actions were “slowing the spread to the rest of the world.”

OK, so pay attention you non-microbiologists everywhere: Doesn’t “slowing the spread” of a disease mean confining an infection to where it is? When President Trump had already limited travel from China to the U.S. on January 31, the W.H.O. Director’s amazing comment was that the President’s travel ban would “have the effect of increasing fear and stigma, with little public health benefit.”

So, this is what a $400 million U.S. contribution to W.H.O. gets us. (By the way, according to Reuters, that is roughly eight times what China contributed in 2019.) W.H.O. officials are likely sweating bullets as President Trump and other U.S. leaders are planning to strike that contribution from future budgets.

This one is so bad that even the Democrats can’t find a way to paper over this latest United Nations debacle.

FBI Using Chinese V***s as Excuse to Keep Protecting Hillary Clinton
By US Politics and News Last updated Apr 3, 2020

1

FBI: “Gosh, America, it’s just too bad that this whole v***s thing came along, because now it’s going to take us several years longer to release Hillary Clinton’s emails in which she did nothing wrong, by the way!”

Is it just me, or is the FBI just about as worthless and pathetic today as it was the day before President Trump fired James Comey?

Here are two salient facts that have just come to light that we’ve never seen reported anywhere before: First, the FBI actually found all 675,000 of Crooked Hillary’s emails (oops), and second, they only reviewed 3,000 of them before declaring her innocence just days before the 2016 e******n.

The FBI received a court order to release Hillary’s emails to Judicial Watch at long last, and it’s been slow walking the release of those emails ever since. Despite being ordered by a judge to turn the emails over, the swift-as-lightning FBI has been releasing them in batches of 500. By complying at this speed, the FBI expects to be in full compliance with the court order by the end of 2021.

If the Deep State manages to prevent Trump’s ree******n this November, the really salacious and criminal emails will never see the light of day. The FBI will stop releasing the emails the moment that Joe Biden, Andrew Cuomo or Brokered Hillary 2.0 “wins” the e******n on November 3.
One daily glass clears arteries 5X better than leading statin?

I was surprised to learn that the FBI didn’t just find “some” of Hillary’s missing emails, which was what James Comey told Congress right before the 2016 e******n. Convicted child predator Anthony Weiner had all of Hillary’s emails on his laptop for some reason. Weiner, you’ll remember, was married to suspected Muslim Brotherhood operative Huma Abedin, who was Hillary Clinton’s… personal servant (?).

The “some” emails that James Comey testified about under oath included every electronic message that Hillary ever sent on her illegal server. This means Comey was actually able to recover the 30,000 emails that got Bleach Bitted when Hillary wiped her server. You know, like, with a cloth.

It also included the tens of thousands of emails that Hillary sent on her Blackberry device, which the FBI had never recovered during its “exhaustive” investigation before Comey cleared Hillary the first time, in July of 2016.

Weiner’s laptop even had all of Hillary’s emails from her first two months as Obama’s Secretary of State, which was another batch of emails that the FBI never recovered from any source.

But wait, there was more!

The Weiner laptop also had all of Hillary’s Clinton Foundation emails on it. Nothing to see there!

In addition, the Weiner laptop had all of Huma Abedin’s emails on it. People frequently used Abedin as the go-between and emailed her as Hillary’s proxy when they allegedly needed to conduct pay-for-play business between the Clinton Foundation and the Obama administration’s State Department.

Plus, the Weiner laptop had all of Barack Obama’s emails that he sent to Hillary – on her secret, illegal bathroom closet server – while using an alias (I wonder if it was Pierre Defecto? Not to be confused with Pierre Delecto, of course).

James Comey testified to Congress that he had agents working around the clock to review Hillary’s emails in the days before the 2016 e******n, but they “didn’t find anything relevant or new.” But it turns out, the FBI only obtained a search warrant to look through the Clinton emails that it had already reviewed. Agents did not obtain a warrant to look through the tens of thousands of Blackberry messages, the messages from her first two months on the job, or the Clinton Foundation emails to see if there was any crossover between Clinton Foundation business, Bill and Hillary’s speeches, and State Department business.

Instead, the FBI obtained a warrant to examine a narrow slice of 3,000 of the 675,000 emails that it knew was on the Weiner laptop. The FBI knew that the laptop had all 675,000 emails on it because NYPD officers found them.

And by the way, those hardened veteran child pornography investigators on the NYPD had to run out of the room and vomit when they saw some of the contents of the Clinton emails. Not that there was anything illegal there!

But now that the Chinese v***s has come along, the FBI has announced that it will take much longer to comply with the court order and finally release the Clinton emails. Hillary may have lost the e******n in 2016, but it sure feels like “her people” are still running the FBI.

There’s no doubt the majority of Americans are yearning for Barack Obama’s leadership right now. It’s palpable. You can feel that around the country. He led us through the financial crisis, Ebola and several other crises. For eight years he stood at the podium and said, ‘I take responsibility.’ Now we have the antithesis of that.

Obama inherited an epic trauma of his own, the 2008-09 financial meltdown, which, supporters claim, would have developed into a Great Depression but for the actions of his administration. He also had to deal with an outbreak of swine flu, which k**led an estimated 12,469 Americans, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Ebola in west Africa in 2014-16 raised further alarm but only 11 people were treated for the v***s in the US. Obama’s White House Ebola “czar”, Ron Klain, is now a regular TV and podcast critic of Trump’s disorganized response to the c****av***s. On Wednesday, Klain tweeted a video of Obama in 2014 warning of the need to be ready for the next p******c.

Obama’s former national security adviser Susan Rice told the Washington Post that Trump’s failures “cost tens of thousands of American lives”.

The ex-president himself, however, declines to speak out directly against his successor. But he has tweeted more frequently than usual: 33 posts in the past month, many of which offer advice on stopping the v***s spread, pay tribute to healthcare and other essential workers or share inspiring stories.

What a shame Obama was term limited, he would have trounced Trump in 2016 and we would have a compute that leader in this time of crisis instead of an arrogant clueless buffoon. Term limits have cost more Americans their lives than the 9-11 attacks. It is time to do away with them and give American v**ers the right to choose who they want in public office rather than forcing qualified public servants out of office after an arbitrary timeline.
There’s no doubt the majority of Americans are yea... (show quote)

The only thing that I am yearning for Obama to do is go to jail for all the fraudulant things he has been involved in.

V***s Experts' Early Statements Belie 'Prescient' Portrayal

As predictions of the c****av***s’ impact have grown more dire and the White House has belatedly acknowledged the pathogen’s repercussions on the nation, the media have increasingly sought to portray the administration as out of touch with early warnings from medical experts about the coming storm. A closer look at the public statements of those very same experts during the early weeks of the outbreak reveals that the administration’s initial reassurances were largely aligned with the assessments of the medical community.

Today Anthony F***i is held up by the media as a national hero of the p******c response and the only reason to listen to a White House c****av***s briefing. Yet, rewind the clock back to January and his public statements essentially mirrored those of the administration.

On Jan. 21, he emphasized that it was unclear whether the v***s could spread from person to person: “Is it a continual spread? Is it sustained? We're not quite sure yet.” A University of Minnesota expert offered that “this is one of those inflection moments in outbreak history where we have enough information to be very concerned, but not enough information to say this is going to be an international crisis.”

In a Jan. 23 Journal of the American Medical Association podcast, Dr. F***i repeatedly downplayed the v***s’ potential impact on the U.S., noting that all five cases here were travelers from China. He also noted that due to limited testing in China, the number of infections was likely much higher than official counts, meaning that the death rate of the v***s was likely much lower than feared.

Asked whether the U.S. might contemplate city-wide shutdowns like those China was enacting at the time, F***i replied, “There's no chance in the world that we could do that to Chicago or to New York or to San Francisco, but they're doing it. So, let's see what happens.”

Most importantly, he added that it was still quite possible the Chinese could get control of the outbreak and prevent it from becoming a global issue, and that even if there were more cases in the U.S., “the CDC, as usual, is on top of things.”

A day later, Dr. David Heymann, the former head of WHO’s response to SARS, offered that, unlike SARS, the c****av***s “looks like it doesn’t t***smit through the air very easily and probably t***smits through close contact,” in contrast with recent guidance that it can spread simply through breathing.

The same day, F***i emphasized that other c****av***ses such as SARS and MERS could not sustain person-to-person spread like the flu and that such v***ses “maybe never will.” For its part, WHO noted that no person-to-person t***smission of C****-** had been reported outside of China and that all of the deaths had been limited to that country.

F***i also took care to praise the Chinese government for “being quite t***sparent” and said he was “impressed” with officials’ cooperation.

For its part, the CDC issued a press release on Jan. 24 asserting that “the immediate risk of this new v***s to the American public is believed to be low” and instead asking that the public refrain from traveling to China and focus on the seasonal flu rather than the minimal risk of the c****av***s.

At a congressional briefing that same day, in response to multiple questions about whether the CDC needed additional funding to combat the disease, Director Robert Redfield reassured senators that it had all of the funds it needed.

At the same time, some lawmakers began to break ranks with the medical community. Florida Sen. Rick Scott argued that despite the medical community’s calm reassurances that the risk was minimal, the White House should preemptively declare a public health emergency on the grounds that the information from China was likely incomplete and masked the true global threat of the disease.

But two days later, F***i again minimized the v***s’ impact and portrayed it as a Chinese issue, asserting that “it’s a very, very low risk to the United States. … It isn’t something the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about. Because we have ways of preparing and screening of people coming in [from China].”

But the following day, Jan. 27, F***i was criticizing the lack of Chinese t***sparency, pointing in particular to new information that asymptotic individuals could be spreading the v***s. Despite this, he continued to cite airport screening of travelers from China as the primary defense against it spreading to the U.S.

On Jan. 28, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar repeated the assessment of the nation’s medical leadership that “the risk to any individual American is extremely low.”

The CDC also pushed back on reports from China that persons without symptoms could be spreading the disease, saying it had not been able to verify them. F***i went a step further, claiming that “in all the history of respiratory v***ses, asymptomatic t***smission has never been the driver of outbreaks. An epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers.” Unfortunately, such guidance is coming under increasing scrutiny and may have helped the p******c spread throughout the globe.

Even as WHO and the U.S. declared public health emergencies, F***i repeated in a Jan. 31 White House briefing that “we still have a low risk to the American public,” which was echoed minutes later by Azar: “I want to stress: The risk of infection for Americans remains low.”

Taking its cue from these medical experts, media reports of the time likewise minimized the dangers of the v***s as “trivial” in comparison to flu, which claims tens of thousands of lives each year.

Weeks later, F***i was still downplaying the risks, saying on Feb. 18 that the “hypothetical danger of c****av***s” to America was “just minuscule” compared to the “real and present danger” of the seasonal flu. Days later he finally changed his views and, in the process, was on his way to becoming a media star.
