Absolutely agree with Patty.

But outrageous commentary only detracts from credibility.

We don't win people to a point of view by making fools of ourselves.

First I would settle the jurisdiction dispute regarding fed. vs state/county. Then I would proceed accordingly.

Execution is not an option. Comments like "execution" are so far out of range that I can't believe it could be an option for anyone.

If you carry out that logic, execution would be in order for tax c***ters etc.

Now, rant and attack/acuse

What I see are answers to those posts. My contention is that those types do it for their own amusement and feed off of any any attempt to answer regardless of the answer's content. You cannot have an intelligent discussion with someone who would rather attack than discuss.

Some of those people have valid commentary but I refuse to discuss with anyone who approaches me with disrepect. Vaild point or not, the moment they choose the low road....I don't care any longer what they think or say.

I have only posted a few times. I haven't said one word regarding my political preferences, yet one person already had to chastise me for not using the format correctly.....although he knew I was answering him even though I didn't specify

I was hoping I had found a forum where ideologies could be discussed without deteriorating as I have seen so many other have done.

We wonder how this country got into this shape. I come from a time when respect was assumed, demanded, and freely given befire the fact. Disrespect .had to be earned. If you got into someone's face, you lost teeth. Lack of respect for another's opinion.. One of the causes of our current national condition.

At this point I'm not quite sure who is a good person and who's not. There's an old saying: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. we have been fooled so many times, in so many ways, that I find it nearly impossible to keep score regarding who fooled us pertaining to what. all I know is, that it is my honest opinion that this country cannot continue indefinitely the way it's been going the last few years. I don't know what it is going to take to get the majority of the American v****g population to come together but I do know it better happen sooner than later.

Venting can be a good thing. It often times allows us to express honest feelings that we otherwise hold inside.

My question is: what will it take to force congress to enforce our constitution and bring justice to those in Washington who are openly defying law? There is far too much documentation available for this attitude of "he said/she said" to be allowed to distract us and therefore provide immunity to those who so arrogantly are destroying this country from the inside out.

Agreed. Perhaps the best method to curb those people would be to completely ignore their commentary. They only perpetuate their nonsense if we engage with them.

I can tell you this much, anytime anyone... bad mouths, disrespects, or otherwise "low roads" whomever they are criticizing in these threads.... it immediately damages their own credibility and reduces the strength of their own position. This is why I rarely comment on any of these threads. I don't care to discourse with anyone who allows their mouth to override their facts.

Please understand that a well thought out and coherant commentary carries much more strength than one of slur and cheap gimmicky slang.
