The Nevada rancher who forced the federal Bureau of Land Management to back down last week may have been targeted because a Chinese solar company with ties to Sen. Harry Reid's son wants the land for an energy plant, several websites report.

It is once again a lie. The land that the company looked at was more than 150 miles away. Also, the dispute started 20 years ago, with no company involved and Reid not the speaker of the house. Just another load of lies about the government, by God-Fearing conservatives. Check the facts. My local conservative radio host laid it out just this morning, including the 150 mile separation. The company also quit its claim a while back, so there is no dispute from them at this time.
Talk about making crap up.

Stop defending these criminals. If you can come up with a reliable site to prove Reuters to be lying then do so but till then quit trying to discourage those of us who chose to be informed.
Clark county isn't even 150 miles wide and the land they bought is right there in Clark County where him and his son were on the board.

Based on the article that you linked, nine years ago a company was interested in putting a solar farm 150 miles form the area in question that has been in question for 20 years. IT IS NOT HARD TO CHECK FACTS! read what I said, and what you just linked. You guys just keep spreading lies(Bearing false witness). Its OK with God, he is a conservative.

Do you read your own postings, dumbass? Reid was NEVER the Speaker of the House, pal. One of the solar projects that Reid (Roy Reid, Harry's son) is associated with is in Tonopah, about 150 miles away. This is about another solar plant, that Reid is associated with.

No that is not what it said. " U.S. Senator Harry Reid recognized nine years ago that connections between his official duties and the lobbying activities of his relatives could lead to ethical questions."
If you are going to claim a site supports your claim and it doesn't then don't expect to not get called out on it. We aren't all fellow grazing sheep here.
"He and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert.

Reid has been one of the project's most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada. His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.
Just this project alone would be over 14 miles.

1 mi² * 640 acres

1 mi²
= 640 acres

9000 / 640= 14.06.........

The senator has supported numerous clean energy projects in Nevada. Rory Reid cites energy as one of his specialty areas at the law firm."

I love how you call names, all the while posting lies. This is not about a company at all. It is about a rancher that refuses to follow the law.

Like I said, you're a dumbass! The law is illegal, but then you socialists could care less about intrusive government and illegal laws and land grabs. Now go take your meds like a good boy.

Hey Dumbs**t, it is not his land that is even in question. It is Federal land where he illegally grazes his cows.

Federal land that was seized illegally dumbs**t! Land that was seized in violation of the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution of the United States of America clearly authorizes the federal government to only own such land as is necessary for a seat of government and such land as is necessary for the erection of forts, docks and shipyards, etc.: (See the United States Constitution, Section 9, paragraph 17).

Oh, I forgot you socialists don't recognize the U.S. Constitution.

http://www.kcsg.com/view/full_story/24908037/article-Heated-Cattle-Debates-Spikes-The-Question--Who-Really-Owns-The-Land-

My understanding is the land is owned by the people of Nevada.
"Bundy said his family has been working the land in Clark County since before Nevada was granted statehood. He said that the federal government has no right to own land that rests within a sovereign state based on the constitution.

“It’s really about our constitutional rights and statehood,” he said. “And whether this area known as the state of Nevada is owned by the United States government or is owned by the sovereign state of Nevada.”

Despite Bundy’s claim that the federal government has no right to charge fees to land that is owned by the state of Nevada, B*M Public Affairs Specialist said that the U.S. government unequivocally owns public lands, and that Bundy is subject to two federal court orders to remove his cattle from said lands."
The way the feds took control was to get a judge to make a protection order bases on the desert Turtle.

Love: "When dumb people v**e, Obama happens!" Where can I buy the bumper sticker?

This story once again proves how much Harry Slimy Reid thinks he, et al are above the law. Anyone else pulling this sellout of America to China would be arrested and jailed for treason!

I had it made into a medium-sized magnet and have it on the back of my car. I get far more thumbs up from passer-bys than one finger salutes.
