"A federal appeals court has ruled that the state of Idaho must pay for a t*********r inmate's sex reassignment surgery. The state says it will appeal the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Inmate Adree Edmo has been living as a woman for years, but has been housed in a men's prison, CBS Idaho affiliate KBOI reports. Deborah Ferguson, an attorney representing Edmo, said in January her client was at risk of self-harm if the surgery was postponed.

Edmo, 31, was diagnosed with g****r dysmorphia in 2012. Ferguson argued that the state's refusal to provide the surgery was unconstitutional.

Earlier this year, the state of Idaho was put on a court-ordered deadline to pay for the surgery by mid-June. The state, however appealed that decision — a process it says has already cost more than $325,000.

On Friday, the court of appeals agreed with the federal judge that denying the surgery amounted to cruel and unusual punishment, a violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little, however, said he intends to appeal the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.

"The court's decision is extremely disappointing," Little said in a statement obtained by KBOI. "The hardworking taxpayers of Idaho should not be forced to pay for a convicted sex offender's g****r reassignment surgery when it is contrary to the medical opinions of the treating physician and multiple mental health professionals."

Edmo, a convicted sex offender who is expected to be released from prison in 2021, is not the only inmate in the state requesting surgery. Five other requests have been submitted since the beginning of 2019, according to the Idaho Department of Correction."

1) Do you feel that Idaho taxpayers should pay for a convicted sex offender's t*********r surgery? 2) What does this say about our judicial system when both a court of appeals and Federal judge have ruled that it is a state responsibility to pay for t*********r surgery for a convicted sex offender?

This is more than a defilement of the human species it's a representation of what Americans see as the leftovers from a Space Odyssey, we're not sure exactly what happened or why but we do know it all began with McCarthyism which really wobbled the planetary orbit to such an extent we picked up a intergalactic hitchhiker.

Unbeknown to the then crew of which I was one, the far flung wanderer was impersonating a human and he had with him a dog whistle.

Furthermore he now resides in Tel Aviv and is blowing his whistle frantically, whomever responds is a q***r.

Trump once again is trying to project outcomes that are figments of his imagination and will.

https://dennismichaellynch.com/video-chinese-newspaper-editor-disputes-trumps-trade-war-claims/

This is the issue Trump has to come out of with some kind of tangible result, but the issue itself is contingent on the Middle East, Kashmir, Venezuela, North Korea and Hong Kong.

Trump will likely have to pick a war to go on with hopefully after 2020, and buddy up with all other rivals, I think Netanyahu is expecting a retaliation from Hezbollah due to him murdering a couple of Hezbollah people in Syria last week probably by accident so he bombs Iraq knowing Trump will be put in a position to jump ship on China and engage in the iddle East, same thing happened to Obama with Libya, but NATO is no interested this time that's the only difference.

Kashmir and Hong Kong are similarly vying for Trump's commitment, we could take bets, in fact bets are being taken on which war Trump will engage in, if you were betting on Venezuela or North Korea, you would have lost, Trump could ignore them all like he did North Korea and Venezuela in which case Americans would have won big.

DMLChinese News App.com is just a copy of CMBC even got the same adverts, but I'm no media expert.

World's continuing a warming cycle that began in the Medieval Warming period which helped Europe flourish during the Renaissance.

Warm periods are generally good for the flora and fauna...and inevitable. Cold periods too. Some volcano somewhere was responsible for the Little Ice Age.

1777 - was close to the time I mentioned for farming in Greenland but since you c*********d with Valley Forge being only a Little Ice Age, I think I'll quit while I'm ahead.

Ah...you should check out a copy of Unstoppable G****l W*****g at your library...good book. It goes into deeply into lake sediments, ice cores, cave formations, tree rings in the timbers of ancient monasteries and cathedrals, bristlecones plus all kinds of other related stuff.

Library hasn't got it but will study up on it, looking at the prologue on "Good Reads" similar Greenland cycles are predicated by sediments in Chinese Lakes, the Chinese say 250 year cycles of cold, so Greenland had 400 year warm starting just before the first millennium then went cold in 1300.

After that Greenland warmed up in 1721 because between 1721 and 1906 there were 2 places in Greenland where farming was practiced, cattle came in 1880's www.kujataa.gl

So that looks like cold from 1300 to 1721 about 400 years, changing from the warm period which lasted from 900 to 1300 about 500 years when the Vikings settled Greenland.

After that the warm period gave way to a very cold 3 centuries 1300 to 1721 after which began the warm present climate from 1721 till 2019 about 4 centuries and counting.

Hummm !!! yep coincides with what the Chinese say, it's due to get cold starting right now, but it seems to be warming up, that's the problum.

Plus it's not raining much in Australia that's a bigger problum.

We had similar situations in South Australia settlers went to the Riverland, if I remember right, in a few good years did a heap of work and then everything went dry, so what they did was, they started dried fruit instead of fresh fruit marketing, which was possible because there was enough rain for horticulture but the river dried up an they couldn't get fresh fruit to Adelaide.

I an not familiar with Kotkin.

I thought for sure all Americans knew about him , Professor in history at Princeton, he's not that old just over 60, on the Hoover Institution at Stanford which I suppose explains his present rants.

Stephen Kotkin - Stalin's Propaganda and Putin's Information Wars , Nathan Watson lecture at the CATO Institute.

Kotkin wrote "Magnetic Mountain - Stalinism as a Civilization" in 1990's - 630 pages really well researched and written.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to take him on and say things about him, but his contemporary political views are worth listening too, I think he's got a lot of bad predictions to live with, - Russia and China have t***sitioned completely differently to his assessment.

Open Letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Dec.13,2007 His Excellency Ban Ki-Moon Secretary-General, United Nations New York, N.Y

Dear Mr. Secretary-General,

Re: UN climate conference taking the World in entirely the wrong direction
It is not possible to stop c*****e c****e, a natural phenomenon that has affected humanity through the ages. Geological, archaeological, oral and written histories all attest to the dramatic challenges posed to past societies from unanticipated changes in temperature, precipitation, winds and other climatic variables. We therefore need to equip nations to become resilient to the full range of these natural phenomena by promoting economic growth and wealth generation…

That site can't be reached, from here, but sediments don't tell lies and CC is double curry for them who aren't part of the supposed solutions, they will get the blame, its already happened, not only starting to happen.

Trump could easily flip flop and hold court with others outside of the carbon industry, after the economy maybe even before the economy, if the US economy doesn't hold up, the degradation of the environment due to consumer issues and CC will be the major issue offsetting or at least marginalizing migration.

There is this lake in China called Dali Lake www.researchgate.net (Implications for environment and c*****e c****es of the last deglaciation in East Asia summer monsoon margin).

AGW (Anthropogenic G****l W*****g) I looked at

ps://wattsupwiththat.com

Can't get it to come up as a link, could be a delusional propaganda hook, CC models have been completely successful since the 1960's I read it in my science book year 10, if you put more carbon in a Greenhouse the heat increases, probably long before 1966 that was being used for horticulture, but that's when I first learnt about the Greenhouse affect.

Why wasn't anyone doing anything then ?, the world population has increased by 6 billion in 119 years in 1900 the World's population was 1,600,000,000 now in 2019 its 7,713,468,100.

Premeditated harm cause to others will not be forgotten or forgiven any political ideology or sham Theologies will be wacked out of existence when water wars get going, why hold back if you doomed already ?.

I am a voracious reader, , , or I used to be. Now my concentration is not the same. Either a person is an interesting writer or they are not. I looked up and read pieces from Stalin and Trotsky. Stalin is a competent, but boring writer. From his biography I had expected him to be a poorly educated ogre. He is more of a bureaucratic thinker. That made him a ruthless opponent for Trotsky and the others once Lenin passed. He knew better than anyone how to operate the levers of power. Stalin only brought back the Church during early WW2 when the USSR was close to collapse. After the crisis passed, the Church was once again crushed.

I found Trotsky to be a very good writer. If he spoke as well as he wrote, I can see why he would attract a lot of student idealists. When it came to the workers struggle, naturally he had a blind spot, but I once read his analysis of the history of the British Empire, and I thought it was excellent.

Had a bit of a browse through "Magnetic Mountain" I seem to remember Kotkin making a lot of references to personal issues going on between boss and workers but could find what I was looking for.

Far as I know there was no legal changes between 1936 and 1976 the Constitution of the Soviet Union was unchanged during that period, there was no Constitution before that..

Far as I know it was one of the first Constitutions that guaranteed women's suffrage and political rights unfortunately it conincided with the great purge and probably was a result of a the purge, Stalin stood by and watched it happen, when it was running out of steam he wrote his Guidy with Success polemic and blamed a little guy, pure genius.

Stalin was seen as the great leader after that because he did succeed where Robespierre had failed, Stalin stopped a terrible inquisition, it was mainly about the people being offended by a boss from Moscow kicking doors and demanding the turnips be weeded by a certain time.

Kotkin is fully anti Stalin but if you read Magnetic Mountain it's hard to believe it's the same person.

I think Trotsky was a follower of Lenin who used the Peasants to oppose the workers, so when Stalin used the Workers to oppose the Kulaks and collectivise agriculture with his 5 year plans Trotsky backed the wrong team then tried virtue signalling to justify his mistake, how ordinary.

Good post.

I know that's politics, stick and deliver, like you say depends where it's grown, I remember Sumatran Gold was far far out hullucinogics, my hippie friends would often say to me that " I couldn't be Jesus Christ today if I hadn't done all that acid " which is just not true, if I hadn't I could have been a rock star and then I wouldn't have wanted to be Christ, needless to say there is some omniscient considerations.

Knowing everything has both advantages and disadvantages, knowing everything all at once is only the latter.

I really suffered with Briggs and Stratton as a kid working in an onion factory and later on in life, so one day when I was over 50 and tree looping I was at the tip and found this old Dicklar prototype of the ride on mower without any cutting, just riding.

So I phoned up a dealer asking about a replacement engine, he thought for a minute and said ahh!! "You mean the dickless" I said don't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply didn't mean to but in.

In one of the prog debatesTulsi Gabbard outed her about being a hypocrite pertaining to marijuana.

Gabbard raised the fact that as a Calif prosecutor, Harris put many people in prison for weed, but on a hip black radio show, Harris claimed that she smoked marijuana.

Harris has what it takes to be a proper progressive, she's a blatant hypocrite.

I don't go along with that, most people do, but I've smoked dope that's almost as trippy as a full blown tab of LSD and that argument makes weed out to be harmless, I don't want to sound like a prude, probably Tulsi wasn't downplaying drug culture consciously but to apply hypocrite instead of criminal does have that effect.
