Okay, I did some research. The following is from Wikipedia. However I've lived in Tennessee since 1955 and I've been interested in politics since 1968.

After the 1964 Civil Rights Act, many white, conservative Southern Democrats became Republicans. The South had been mostly Democratic before 1964; it was mostly Republican after (Although on the local level continued to be heavily democratic for decades).

Kevyn is right, of course. This is basic stuff. You have a credit score. The lower your score, the higher the interest rate. The same with your assets. Trump claimed his apartment was 30,000 square feet, but it's actually 10,000 square feet. He lied in order to get a larger loan at a lower interest rate, creating more risk and c***ting the bank out of the difference. It's not complicated. And there's a name for that. Fraud. It's illegal.

I've been a liberal democrat since 1967. If there is somebody in the world who supports r****m and claims to be a liberal I think he doesn't understand the definition of a liberal. I moved to Tennessee from Michigan in 1955. One of the first things I learned was that southerners were still "fighting" the civil war. Everybody was a democrat, yet Eisenhower, Nixon, Bush and Bush won the state. Al Gore was from Nashville but he lost Tennessee to Bush. Al was a popular Senator and Vice President but he lost the presidency because he was a democrat. His dad was a US Senator who v**ed against the intervention into Vietnam and that v**e cost him his seat in 1970.
In other words, Tennessee was and is full of DINO's, to paraphrase.
