I try to dispel this myth about WMDs that Iraq had stockpiled when Goeord W Bush no longer makes such claims. So I researched the Bush invests goon and search.

After the invasion in 2003 Bush formed the Iraq Survey Group (ISG) and there task was locating WMD stockpiles and Nuclear Program. ISG was staffed with hundreds intelligence analyst and thousands of military personnel from the US, United Kingdom and Australia.

According to the ISG final report the search for WMDs begain during the invasion found nothin. After the invasion the ISG conducted a more systematic collection of evidence.

During there investigation the ISG reported 53 munitions have been recovered and were all part of the pre-1991 gulf war. This recieved significant right wing media overhype. This is the right wing media that continues to use propaganda that Iraq posses WMD and nuclear programs.

The Final ISG report concluded.

Saddam ended the nuclear program in 1991 following the gulf war.

While a small number of old abandoned chemical munitions were found ISG judges that Iraq destroyed it's WMDs in 1991 and there was no evidence that Baghdad resumed production.

Experts from 3 nations failed to find any existent WMD or Nuclear Program. The ISG report was sufficient to convince Bush and Chaney that there was no WMDs in Iraq.

Then came the congressional testimony by the Head of the ISG, Charles Duelfer and he admitted we were all wrong on Iraq WMD'S


Anyone on OPP who continues to believe something without positive evidence and in the face of evidence to the contrary is no longer acting on the basis of reason. Any right wing media can take pictures of canister and write we found them Or Saddam had them but you just will not believe actual facts and reports by the ISG,

Also read the CIA final report. There top weapons inspectors found nothing after an 18 month intensive investagation and debriefing of WMD related detainees had been exhausted and nothing was found.

UN inspectors along with Chief weapons inspectors said his team found no WMD's or nuclear program. But Bush/Chaney would not believe this UN report and invaded anyway. What a bad idea and at what cost to this country.

But after ISG, CIA, and UN reports the right wing press continues to use old photos and continue to convince OPP bloggers that Iraq had these programs.
But millions of dollars spent not to mention the manpower to do such an intensive investagtion by actual experts, the right wing propaganda machine continues.

I have been insulted called a libtoid, turdnest, moron, idiot, Obama lover all because I read facts. I think it is time for the TP to come out of that right wing propaganda bubble and take a look at these declassified reports on such a bad idea war that cost this country lives, injuries, and the trillions of dollars for the war and the trillions of dollars in the future to care for our Veterans, and to make sure this never happens again.

And now the same right wing Neo cons are using the same scare tactics to get us into a war in Iran. I believe that these right wing Neo cons have just one agenda and that's war, and wealthy tax breaks.

So read the Iraq Survey Group, final CIA report, the UN inspectors report prior to the war and after the war, read the congressional testimony, it's all there and Bush admitted it. Not some right wing propaganda machine.

Bob Woodward investigated the events that led up to the Iraq war and found that nobody lied and decisions were made based on the intel which they had at the time. PS. You say don't take me serious when I read the ISG report that was put together by Bush Chaney investigators. I post the CIA intel prior to Bush invasion and after the invasion all Bush people. I read the UN intel reports before and after the invasion. Bush had no clear intelligence that Saddam had these programs.

Taken serious after all the time I took to research all the intel. The cold hard facts that you do not want to look at Bush who had no absolute intel that Saddam had these programs. But you hide from it. And then insult me after researching all declassified info given to Bush. I read the transcript of the congressional hearings by the Bush guy in charge Of that ISG guy.
