I just finished reading the Cloward-Piven strategy. I was aware if it but didn't know from where it came. Thanks for the direction

And if we don't stand and fight on this then where and when will we try and stand against the government. If we don't fight now we will one step closer to socialism and that thought doesn't thrill me at all. I know some think socialism is great and most who think that way have never tasted socialism. If ACA is implemented and another president with OIllegals mentality wanted to make the American people hurt so that he could get his way and attacked the healthcare of the people then what. What if he should shut down all of the hospitals and clinics like he did the national parks then what. You are putting yourself in their hands and at their mercy.
And if we don't stand and fight on this then where... (show quote)

What is with stand & fight?

It is cooperation that builds & holds people together.

If we stand & fight with each other those that control the government will just keep picking our pockets & taking away or rights for their own gain. Just because we may vote it don't mean we are in control.

Stand and fight is more for the Republican party if you look back they continue to back down on many issues. I think they lose in elections because they don't stand and fight. Compromise is good but if you look at the past Democrats make promises they never keep. They make laws that apply to the people but not to themselves. I think the republicans have to stand and fight now or we got problems.

Absolutely!
Colorado should be the standard--the goal --for all states. Well, CA and NY will never rebel, but they're broke. There are people who have been fighting the good fight for a long time. Joe Arpaio comes to mind. When this country was first settled, there were only a couple hundred Englishmen who were willing to make the journey. They were chastised, too. But we don't have a place like America to go to--we have to fight for this one!

Well what has happened is that most voters are left leaners and believe that the Democrats are the party of the people. They may have been at one time and I am not sure about that either after reading several books that say they did not want the constitution.

But, we were meant to be a center country slight left, slight right. But over the years the democrats have moved to the left. To keep in the race as a major political party the Republicans have also moved to the left trying to take some of the voters from the democrats. It hasn't worked and now we have the moderate republicans who also lean toward socialism.

Cloward and Piven, is to the progressive liberals as the Constitution is to freedom and liberty.

It lays out the strategy that has led to where we are.

I read about them a while back when I was researching Bill Clinton. Their names come up alot when you research Democrats.

When you get into it, you'll come across a statement made by Hillary Clinton, where she says she's a twentieth century progressive.

It takes a while to track down just what that is, Glen Beck, did a couple of shows on it and ultimately, it means communist.

I knew they were married but I wasn't sure about the University. Been awhile since I read about them.

You are absolutely right. This might very well be the last fight we ever fight for the United States of America.
