One thing you will learn about Lou is that he never responds with a civil tongue. He always likes to instigate fights, and if he disagrees with you you're immediately called an idiot, moron, stupid, blah, blah, blah... He is one of the worst posters on this forum. BoJester, Don Overton, Inyourface, are other posters that can not respond without referring to you in some derogatory term. Like Obama, they simply hate anyone who is right-center, or on the right, no matter what your opinion is. I admit that I have fell into the trap of responding in the same manner, so I'm no angel - they will test your temperament, trust me. I have several liberal left leaning friends, but we always seem to discuss politics in a civil manner even though we almost never agree. But, then none of them have ever called me stupid, a moron, conservatard, fat limbaugh follower, teabagger, repub, faux news lover, etc. etc. etc.

To be honest, I have simply had it with these posters, and a few others, and I intend to simply leave this forum. Today, and most likely this post, will be my last. Yeah, I can hear the cheers and rasberries already from these jerks. So be it. At least I can discuss politics with my liberal ex-military buddies without being called names.

I appreciate that. I am a writer/researcher by profession (recently turned freelance) so learning is basically my occupation as well as my passion. I have to be open minded because the parameters of my research are established by my client, not myself. Even if I do not agree with the subject matter I will give it no less than 100%. I would be quickly out of clients if I did otherwise.

But believe me, I am very set in my ways for such a young man and have an inane ability to separate my work from my personal beliefs.

Oh good God Almighty!! There are a lot more important things to try to work out other than who is what and duplicating themselves to seem like they have bigger balls. You can be Liberal 'til hell freezes over, but what we have in Washington D.C. right now is NOT Liberal....it is Socialist, Marxist, Communist, Islamic Fundamentalist, Reverse Racist, and blatantly UN-American.

If we want a better place to live it will only come if those of us on sites like this can look for the answers needed. Calling each other names only plays into the hands that pull the strings over us. Those that have the power are happy when the masses waste their time as we seem to being now calling each other names.

I am doing okay for an old man. But I know that if the man next door gets a couple of extra dollars I will be more secure than if the 1% takes more from us.
