Divide and conquer! He thinks this ruse will garner him favor with the middle class; but the jackass put most of the middle class out of work! So who gives two hoots about taxes! And no one seems to be able to get a full time job these days; what's the fun of struggling to keep up with two part time jobs? As for taxing the rich; this idiot doesn't realize that they are the ones who make the jobs for the middle class. We would be in better shape if he quit giving handouts to every Tom, Dick, and Muslim/illegal walking and made them work. Heck - do what Roosevelt did and build roads, etc. One must remember that every strategy he tries to use is just a facade to cover up what the other hand is doing! He has absolutely NO interest in helping America get back on its feet, much less helping the 'middle class' folks. Lies, lies and more lies from a usurper hell-bent on destroying America!

MsAtta, I concur.

I will just add to what you have said about the facade of Obama. Maybe I will be a little more fierce.
I have never seen a more unabashed liar than Obama. " Shovel ready jobs" "If you like your healthcare, you can keep your healthcare..Period"
I didn't draw the red line in Syria....The world did"
It goes on and on.....
A disgraceful President....usurping the rule of law...

Using this site as some kind of personal public toilet wall to expose your personal weaknesses and dysfunctional proclivities is as unwelcome as it is boorish and boring.....
In short my friend, you need to show a little class.

He wasn't lying about the "shovel ready jobs." He creates a number of them every time he makes a speech.

President Obama will use his State of the Union address on Tuesday to call on Congress to raise taxes and fees on the wealthiest taxpayers and the largest financial firms to finance tax cuts for the middle class, administration officials said on Saturday.
The proposal — which will also push to reshape the tax code to help working families and raise $320 billion over the next decade — faces long odds in the Republican-controlled Congress, led by lawmakers who have long opposed raising taxes and who argue that doing so would hamper economic growth.
But the decision to present the plan signifies the start of a debate over taxes and the economy that will shape both Mr. Obama’s legacy and the 2016 presidential campaign.

Taxpayers are already over burdened. US do not have revenue problem. IT IS THE OVER SPENDING PROBLEM of the administration, misusing funds for their lavish lifestyles and cronies, and billions of errors in IRS refunds to illegals. Why is Al Sharpton exempted from paying the $4.5 million tax he owed? Special interest groups are exempted, and are reaping billions of dollars, but the political opponents are scrutinized. Is this country a government for democrats only, and not for all the American people?

I don't do whipped cream or bologna, but a few chocolate coated sardines make a great snack.

And melted peanut butter on ice cream really is good. Try it.

I agree. Whenever anyone posts a well thought out post of their views, they are attacked by this guy and a couple of others. It is tiring and aggravating. I too want to discuss issues and problems in this country. I want to share my thoughts and hear others. I don't know everything so I am of course open to learning new things. I was hoping This forum would have been a place for people of different ideas and beliefs to come together and learn from each other and maybe discuss ways we as Americans can make a difference and change the way this country operates. Throughout history change has come when citizens get together and begin a dialogue about what can be done to change things and then acting on it. I am beginning to think none of that will happen here because there are too many that just attack people for having ideas and views that differ from there own. There is nothing wrong with having different views. It is through those differences we rise up and find a common ground.

He will give a noble speech and its too bad many do NOT KNOW that he has been the worst president we ever had for the MIDDLECLASS--nobody has taxed them as much, starting with revoking the BUSH tax cuts which saved the middleclass 10%--cigarette taxes also skyrocketed under his administration. Too many otheres to list here!!

If he really wanted to do this, he could easily have done it in his first two years. This appears to me simply pap for those who Gruber and other liberal elites count on regularly.
