You're talking about yourself, right?
Why are you in such denial about who are really running things?
Follow the money.

WE have the best government money can buy
Most politicians in both parties just feather their own nests.
The “TWO” Party Scam
Corruption in both parties runs deep.
And the owned MSM perpetuates it
The videos below show it all: A compilation of footage that shows the tactics used by the media to block Ron Paul’s candidacy. Everything from; ignoring, bias, and even Republican caucus fraud. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_WBo4sfmi4&feature=player_profilepage

I am here to give an alternative to "rock and turnip" debate. ie The stubborn and ostriches. Fighting the same enemy, but not knowing who or what they are fighting.

I agree with President on his decision! Reason being it brings the Cuban people on the island some hope for change, and the only people disagreeing with his decision are disagreeing safely from the United States and not on the island! I feel they are as stubborn as Castro himself! It's the right idea to change the minds of the youth on the island because they are the future! Castro brothers will not be around for another 50 years! Which is the length of time it's been with the old policies!

Remember we here in the United States went thru a bad time in in our history that lasted longer than 50 years (it was called slavery) We managed to change, why not give the people on the island a chance to do the same thing?

I think Rubio is foreign born , so he can't be a candidate and if he supports a foolish policy that has been a failure for over 50 years, then he comes off as being a leftover cold war whiner who should have no attention paid to him at all..

The so-called new Cuba policy has put Senator Rubio on front stage. He has become the face of the opposition to President Obama's decision to change our approach to Cuba.

On the other side, there is Senator Paul, who supports President Obama's decision.

Phillip Rucker of The Washington Post sees it as an early sign of 2016 GOP divisions:

The feud is the loudest public dispute so far between potential GOP 2016 candidates and lays bare the divergent world views of traditional hawks — including Rubio and past Republican presidents and nominees — and the emerging, younger libertarian wing represented by Paul.

For decades, Rubio’s position has been the GOP’s natural default. But Paul is testing that convention.

“Are we still cold warriors or are we entering a brave new world in diplomacy?” Republican strategist John Feehery said. “Rubio’s perspective is we have Cuba, we have North Korea, we need a bold, internationalist, America-led world that fights the bad guys. Rand Paul is taking his father’s position to a new level, which is constructive engagement, but America isn’t really the policeman of the world.”

What's wrong with that picture? A lot, especially when we are talking about GOP primary voters.

Senator Paul does not understand what Senator Rubio is talking about.

First, Senator Rubio is talking about promoting freedom rather than being the world's policeman. There is a huge difference.

Second, Senator Paul does not understand that his father's foreign policy was largely mocked and ignored in previous primaries. Like many GOP voters, I threw a pillow at the TV every time Congressman Ron Paul went off on his isolationist rants.

Senator Paul is wrong on this one. He is not going to be the party's nominee with such views of the world.

With all due respect Mr. Canto is out to lunch. First of all Senator Rubio is biased in his view of the Cuban situation, since he is the son of Cuban immigrants. Secondly comparing Cuba to North Korea is ludicrous. There is actually nothing they have in common other than being run by dictatorships. But even then that is a stretch, as much as you may dislike Fidel or Raul, they do not set themselves up as being Gods or Supreme Beings. Mr. Canto states that Rubio is promoting "Freedom", please. Is an over fifty year embargo, on Cuba, that has not worked, promoting "Freedom"? The only ones that have suffered over the last fifty years, are the Cuban people. You would think that after a minimum of twenty five years there would be some major opposition to Fidel, hell even China had their Tiananmen Square moment, where is Cuba's internal opposition party? It is clear that after fifty years the U.S. policy towards Cuba has failed. What I believe will change Cuba, for the better, is lifting the embargo, and allowing free access to Cuba, once they get on social media and the internet, Socialism will die a quick death. We live in a world that has Iran, North Korea, China and various other dictatorships and the greatest weapon against them in knowledge and access to the rest of the world.

Finally something that is not being talked about is the effect improved relations with Cuba will have on the rest of the region, most notably Venezuela. I know Chavez is dead but Venezuela and Cuba were like two peas in a pod. I believe eventually relations with Venezuela will improve along with the rest of the region.

Just a point of clarification, Marco Rubio was born in Miami, Florida to Cuban immigrant parents.

I agree that what we have done with Cuba for 50 years has been a total failure. We trade with China for God's sake. Here is the potential problem as I see it:
How is this opening relationship going to be directed and administered. Who will do the 'administering' for who and why? Policy has always been administered for TPTB (Big Money), and screw the people on both sides of the relationships. Both political parties will most likely see that that continues.

I think Fidel may have been a step up for the Cuban people from being ruled by the previous president, the mafia, and the rich Cubans who all moved to Florida.

Things will improve for the people in Cuba and Venezuela if the NeoCONs are not allowed to set those countries up to be under the control, and in debt to the NWO banksters. That means not having another puppet leader/government.
