Congress and the Senate should read every bill or proposition they put together. This way they cannot say later on that they didn't know what the bill or proposition was all about. Further more if they like to write such wordy literature, maybe they will cut it down to size. When they finally realize it is a lot of smoke they have been blowing. Or for that matter, how they are screwing the AMERICAN PEOPLE, with their tail pipe talk.

Bottom line. If they can't write a law in 50 pages or less, it's a bad law.

If I were a congressman and didn't know what was in a bill personally, I would either abstain or vote against it. How hard can that be. Any one with any brain at all has to know a bill as big as obammacare is, has to contain errors or hidden riders that has to hurt someone.

i'm not saying our "representitives" are brainless. They just don't give a damn about AMERICA.

They do care about the American Worker however. They care that they keep working and paying taxes to sustain their, Congresses, lifestyles.

I can't find it, but I've heard that someone in Washington referred to Americans as the masses. If that doesn't raise some eyebrows, I don't know what it would take.

I have read where a number of them have referred to the public as 'the masses'. It has always struck me as being a communistic terminology.

Makes sense to me. It would also result in smaller Bills. Who has time to read and digest 1,700 pages after all? Anyone who votes on a Bill without reading it should be fired on the spot. Or better yet, how about we just shoot them? God knows, they deserve it. Just my two cents.

Because so many of these bills are so very many pages long -- and who really has the time to read all the pages before the voting? -- some bills get through on a "piggy-back" ride. Nobody knows that they're even part of the bill they believe they are signing!

Piggy-backing certain bills that certain parties want passed is getting to be a common thing anymore. They don't really pertain to the topic of the bill, but stick them in there somewhere and sneak 'em on through.

Of course, every bill should be read from beginning to end. But, how many Congresspeople do you believe actually do this? And, then there's those times when something is discussed and agreed upon one day in Congress and voted on the next day. Who would even guess that during the night -- yes, during the night -- things in that bill just somehow got rearranged! In fact, that happened just recently ...

Think you're voting on one thing and you're voting on another. Bills need to be shorter and simplified. And, everybody needs to read every word before they sign them. That's my opinion.

It is our fault for not holding the elected rep responsible for their votes. They trust the majority of people will be too apathetic to react and they are right.

If no one's coined this phrase yet, I'm doing it now..."Hey, look! He pulled a Gruber!" Just wait. Gruber will be in the dictionary pretty soon. LOL

Don't be too hard on Prof. Gruber.........He is one of the most honest Libtards, I have ever seen........he spoke the "truth".......He said the American voter is "STUPID"? He was referring to the Obama care bill that was designed by Liberals.......Proposed by Liberals.......rejected by Conservatives.......& "voted on by Liberals only"........They refused to allow Conservatives to vote on this totally Liberal proposal....."They".....Liberals, all voted "for" Obamacare, so by logic, & intellectual deduction.......Liberal voters, "ARE STUPID".......& he is "right on"! These are the same "stupid voters", that "ERECTED"........"SLICK PERVERTED WILLIE".....not once, but "TWICE".........HOW STUPID IS THAT?

This goes far beyond stupid........{ it is institutionalizing }.......certified Stupid!

Sadly......all of America, must pay for the stupidity of Liberals!....................    :( :hunf:
