I'm curious how some feel about the following video. There are many here that are experts on the constitution..was this guys right violated...personally, I would just answer the questions, but it is interesting...are these cops just profiling and using excuses to do so...I'm curious where some people stand on this :

Is waiting for the bus loitering? Was he waiting for the buss or cutting thru the property? It does not tell the whole story so how can anyone jump to a conclusion? They really must have a problem at that location to have 3 cops there. That makes everyone there a suspect for profiling.

If it was me I would stay away from the place. just like when I used to smoke and they did not allow smoking in the buildings where they had truck pulls and Big Foot shows
or any other events I did not go because people could not smoke. Now that I have quit smoking I still don't go.

So, in summation one can conclude that not all cops are angels - nor are they devils. I do think, however, that perspective is necessary.

As a young man in my early 20's I lived in North Philly. I drove a black 55 Chevy. I got stopped about 10 times in a 3or 4 month period of time - and most of those stops involved one cop standing behind my stopped car with his hand on his gun while the other approached my door. It was annoying, and I felt like giving them a piece of my mind. Only later did I learn that there had been multiple sightings of a car similar to mine involved in what we call today drive by shootings. Sure glad I used my head - and sure glad someone ultimately took that creep off the streets. What I'm trying to say is it might be a good idea to keep an open mind and look at things with a wider perspective. Cops, particularly uniformed ones, are often targets of nuts - and they must consider the possibility that the next interface they have will be with one of those nuts.
So, in summation one can conclude that not all cop... (show quote)

Thanks Dave....great info

This was profiling, the cop asked if he was smoking then said she saw him smoking. She lied. cops can lie and the courts believe the cops before what people saw unless you have a video that proves the cop lied. I don't know what he was doing there as it appeared the parking lot was for people to park their cars and catch the bus. If that is the case was he cutting across the property or was he going to catch the bus? I think he was cutting across the property. If the bus company does not want people cutting across their property then need to put signs up or fence it in to keep people from crossing the property.

I used to be a cop and this is precisely the reason I quit because these officers believe because the have a gun an a badge the can harass and fine people but they seem to let their acquaintances go if they are doing the same thing they profile others for.

There are good and bad in every occupation. There are good teachers and there are bad teachers, there are good carpenters and there are bad carpenters, there are good designers and there are bad designers, ect and it is a shame we have most of the bad as officers that are supposed to serve and protect, that want to harass and fine. There is a lot of psychology that enters into the minds of these people who become cops and stay there.
This was profiling, the cop asked if he was smokin... (show quote)

So true...I have many childhood friends that are police officers....most are great...some, quite scary...thinking back on them, how they were in high school...the first thought is " you're giving that guy a badge and gun ?"

And it's very true about giving tickets to people they don't know and letting other people go for doing the same thing...I have a family member card...I never get a ticket...but , man they seem real disappointed sometimes

You're way off...most of these people that are challenging the police are republicans, libertarians...I guess fighting what they see as government officials out of control...I don't agree with them...I just can't believe they're doing this...I can post you videos of people actually saying the are conservative or republican protecting constitutional rights

you can post many or lots of far left videos
none of them prove what they are implying
cops have a job to do,and if you or your leftist friends ,want to argue with them instead of obeying the law, then I admire their restraint and patience .
if it waS ME IN THAT COPS SHOES IM NOT SURE I COULD HAVE HELD MY TEMPER
as far as the boy being (probably)dressed as a hoodlum ,or gang member,he stated himself he was wearing a hoodie
and besides you can go down any main street in America, and see plenty young people dressed as I alluded
if I was profiling then im sorry, but our schools are teaching youngsters from the beginning, that the important thing is his or he r self, not family, not country, not lawful restrictions, but ME ,ME ME
NO WONDER THE KIDS MOUTH OFF AT COPS

He was meeting a friend there that was coming on a transit bus. It said so.
If it is private property and the cops treat any and everyone they deem suspicious, how in the hell does anyone get on or off the bus without being harassed? I would call for a boycott of the UTA and see how they like that.

Cops deal with so many people with an attiude that want to be a problem that they just hammer anyone that they feel are trying to be a smart ass. Just say yes or know, don't start anything with a stupid act or atatement. They will leave you alone.

The bitch lied when she said she saw him smoking. She was purposely harassing him. IMO, it was entrapment when the cop detained him, then ticketed him for loitering.

He was wearing a hoodie ! Shoot em !

But , you're wrong about these being far left videos...most of the people doing this describe themselves as conservative or libertarians or federalists ( whatever that is )..I think they're trying to show cops ( government officials ) out of control

Interesting video. It seems even cops don't understand the law.

=================================

Cops definitely don't know the law. They have never studued the law and their knowledge of it is very limited. They are schooled in police orocedure and protocol.
