The old saying. Look for trouble and you will find it.

They said they are registered republicans, and stated clearly that they are libertarian

I doubt they are registered anything. And they parroted the Michael Brown " Hands up " crap. Most likely liberals

I did . There was no reason for them to say they were Republicans which leads me to believe they were lying

I don't mind people who are protecting their rights but I oppose obnoxious people who are looking for confrontation like the 2 video's you posted.

Some are obnoxious some are not....it's interesting....I think they're going to eventually get their asses kicked, but this seems to be going viral....there are hundreds of these vids on you tube...I watch a lot of them...I have mixed feelings...some police officers overstep their bounds...these citizens don't back down...I have to admit, I couldn't do this...I keep waiting for a cop to grab the phone and smash it

We need to understand that the police have authority and when they stop us for any reason we need to be respectful and cooperate. If they are wrong one can go to higher authorities and complain.

Yeah, right. The police are just a legalized gang of thugs whose job is to extort as much revenue in fines and confiscation of private property for whatever "law enforcement" agency they can, even if that means harassing and provoking people.

I'm starting to see your point....there seems to be two sides to the police...they do run into danger...and protect lives....but they also harass and overstep their bounds often

So, in summation one can conclude that not all cops are angels - nor are they devils. I do think, however, that perspective is necessary.

As a young man in my early 20's I lived in North Philly. I drove a black 55 Chevy. I got stopped about 10 times in a 3or 4 month period of time - and most of those stops involved one cop standing behind my stopped car with his hand on his gun while the other approached my door. It was annoying, and I felt like giving them a piece of my mind. Only later did I learn that there had been multiple sightings of a car similar to mine involved in what we call today drive by shootings. Sure glad I used my head - and sure glad someone ultimately took that creep off the streets. What I'm trying to say is it might be a good idea to keep an open mind and look at things with a wider perspective. Cops, particularly uniformed ones, are often targets of nuts - and they must consider the possibility that the next interface they have will be with one of those nuts.

I'm curious how some feel about the following video. There are many here that are experts on the constitution..was this guys right violated...personally, I would just answer the questions, but it is interesting...are these cops just profiling and using excuses to do so...I'm curious where some people stand on this :

Profiling? Maybe, maybe not. Profiling is a very common sense step in law enforcement.

If a suspect is a young, tall, white male, those who fit that profile would be looked at. That's common sense. Short black old females would be ignored.

But the idiotic, starry eyed idealistic llibtards have tried to make it a crime.

This was profiling, the cop asked if he was smoking then said she saw him smoking. She lied. cops can lie and the courts believe the cops before what people saw unless you have a video that proves the cop lied. I don't know what he was doing there as it appeared the parking lot was for people to park their cars and catch the bus. If that is the case was he cutting across the property or was he going to catch the bus? I think he was cutting across the property. If the bus company does not want people cutting across their property then need to put signs up or fence it in to keep people from crossing the property.

I used to be a cop and this is precisely the reason I quit because these officers believe because the have a gun an a badge the can harass and fine people but they seem to let their acquaintances go if they are doing the same thing they profile others for.

There are good and bad in every occupation. There are good teachers and there are bad teachers, there are good carpenters and there are bad carpenters, there are good designers and there are bad designers, ect and it is a shame we have most of the bad as officers that are supposed to serve and protect, that want to harass and fine. There is a lot of psychology that enters into the minds of these people who become cops and stay there.
