that's why getting rid of 'don't ask-don't tell' was the stupidest thing ever done. it needs to be repealed immediately.
I think it's very interesting that no one has directly spoken to the ability/inability of heterosexuals to make a conscious choice about their sexual orientation. Some have spoken about the willingness/unwillingness to choose homosexuality, but this is not the question at issue.
The question is whether or not one can make a conscious choice to alter one's sexual orientation. I believe no heterosexual, answering honestly, can say they have that ability. So why would one expect that from a homosexual?

Why is it the ones with the nastiest, most negative outlook are alway "in hiding"?

Apparently you do not know yet how to respond to a comment by a specific poster. When you respond hit quote reply and we will know to whom you are speaking. It took me a while to figure that out too, so don't feel bad about it or interpret it as a complaint. you can also put the name of the person at the beginning of your message.

Perhaps the reason that heterosexuals don't contemplate changing into homosexuals is the same reason that non drinkers don't wish to be alcoholics. 97% of adults do not lust after the same sex or act on what ever small desire they might have in that direction because they know that the biologically reproductive design that God made for us is heterosexual.

Well. According the them, we're just animals, unable to control our lusts. So it's OK, no matter how perverted it is.

NPP - You are still missing my point. You are focusing on DESIRE to change/not change. I am saying it is not POSSIBLE for an individual to change their orientation, regardless of whether they are hetero or homo sexual.
Let's say hypothetically you found there were Biblical scriptures, proven and accepted over millennia, that said God wants everyone to be homosexual. Could you in all honesty say you would be able to effect that change in yourself?

Excellent comments Rock. Outside of victims of same sex sexual assault, I have not met anyone who is homophobic and that men who were assaulted by men, particularly when they were boys end up homophobic is understandable. Girls assaulted by women usually end up deep in depression and self loathing, while girls and women who were raped by men often turn to other women for solace, friendship and often love, including sexual activity. Differences in male and female brains. That is one of the reasons that therapists generally work better with one sex or the other as patients, unless the children involved are young, when it doesn't seem to matter and women make better therapist for the younger kids of both sexes, for the most part.
The subject is complicated but the push for validating all kinds of sexual activity has more to do with the destruction of the family that it does sex. Don't forget the "progressives" sincerely believe that it take an entire village to raise your kids.Cummunal raising of children makes indoctrination that much easier.

I must say, if I ever wound up on the wrong side of the law, I would be androphobic is a NY minute! Anytime men want to
behave like homosexuals by gang raping another man, it's not an unplaced or unfounded fear by any means.
Again, this would be a well placed fear of convicts not homos. Is there such thing as
conviphobia (fear of convicts) I think I have that...
All kidding aside, your points as always are very informative and spot on, thanks!

Just FYI:
Eleutherophobia (democrats have this one) fear of the notion of freedom.
Chronophobia fear of time. ... Chronophobia is especially common in prison inmates and the elderly, more specifically "old" convicts.
Negrophobia Fear of black, democratic presidents. All God-fearing Americans and other conservatives catch this.
Okay, I've raised the I.Q. level enough in here for one day and no, I do not make this stuff up, the APA does. No fear, Big Pharma makes a pill for that!

More lunacy from the liberal left. We spoke, you just never listened or took it to heart, because it is opposed to your world view.
Men and women are born with the wires correctly connected. For a variety of reasons some by design, some through no fault of their own, a pair of pliers takes that good wiring and guts it.
Any other questions?

Another comment from an ignoramus. There is even genetic evidence that homosexuality might increase the breeding ability (fecundity/fertility) of the female of the species, thus it becomes a natural part of nature if true. Ever heard of sexually antagonistic selection? No.
