People, actually, made skirts out of poodles? My friend has owned poodles for years. She never made a skirt out of any of hers and would be horrified at such. :hunf:

All the ones I remember seeing had nary a poodle involved, AuntiE.

Rest easy.

Such happenings make my blood boil.

I correct myself. The skirts usually (if not always) had an embroidered poodle on the skirt. Hence, the name, 'poodle-skirt'.

Thank you AuntiE. I'm thinking though perhaps Annie Oakley may be a better moniker for you  :P :P Of course I see you do have much modern hardware, but still revolvers

I believe that would be 'Aunti Oakley', my friend.

SWMBO says she had two different poodle skirts one blue with white poodle, one red with black poodle. Man I don't know how women can remember those things. And I can't even remember our anniversary

On this day of horrible dread,
I prayed a prayer to the Lord God Almighty,
as I posted the Psalm 63 with my soul longing to be fed
with righteousness guiding me, And the Glory of God around me,
I ask the Angels and Saint, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord Our God.
For upon this day, all my dreams and plans were shattered, and hope was soon being diminished.
but behold in all the chaos and evil, came a light, that I must return to where I begun.
To rebuild in the name of the Lord.

Have a great and Blessed Day. http://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-19878-1.html

May the Lord Jesus Christ Bless all of you this day, as we pray in the name of our Savior through the words of King David, in the Psalms. Thank you all, and Amen!

Time for another patient, or concerned person to report hospital staff. I can't understand these women who allow a boyfriend to abuse their child.

They were popular when I was a teenager (didn't like them, never had one). They would applique a felt poodle on this very full skirt (ugly), then wear white socks, with saddle shoes (even uglier). So, I was never in fashion, but I felt comfortable. Sorry SWMBO, I just didn't like them.
