Several years ago I read a Christian Fiction book by Karen Kingsbury. There was some crisis, which I do not remember. One of the young characters in the book said we just have to PUSH. He was asked what he meant. His response was Pray Until Something Happens. It stuck with me. We just have to PUSH!

Push using the Bible or Pray Until SomethingHappens by using the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

I just learned something new about my Shroud of Turin investigation. A Particle Physicist explained how the image could have been made. She said at the horizon of the resurrection, the body of Jesus(for skeptics the body of the man of the Shroud) had to be suspended with zero gravity. There was no gravity, no entropy, no gravitational disruption, no time, and no space."

This leads to only one conclusion about life and death, as well as proving only one person in history can accomplish this.

First the conclusion of life and death, when we are born, the spirit is entrapped within our bodies. When we die, our spirit leaves time and space. Welcome to eternity.

Second, the only man who could accomplish this feat of defying time and space is Jesus Christ. He is the only one who ever lived that could accomplish this.

The scientific quest of the Shroud of Turin continues...........

Someone among us may know if this is fact or not, but once I read that there is an actual weight change in the body when the spirit departs the dead. I have never researched it to check it out as fact, but I'd like to think God puts weight into my spirit. A thought for discussion.

Hey! I just noticed - we're only on page 23 - I thought WHAT HAPPENED! Our thread got SO BIG OPP had to start us out with a #2!

Arma, I looked at my remark this morning I didn't mean it to sound snarky, my apologies.

Thank you for the correction.

In my book, your name is written as one of the saints, therefore you are always forgiven. Everyone on this list is in my book of saints. But the awesome part of the whole thing is that the number of saints are increasing.

This is my favorite site and I look at it first every day, even if I don't always post on it. God Bless Armegeddon for starting it, so we can all seek prayers and comfort from the prayers and thoughts of others, SWMBO and I will be visiting "Pete" again today, and taking him next door to see the neighbors' goats, so she and I will pray together and with the neighbors before "Pete" gets here, for the strength and compassion necessary to help this young man heal. The prayers here help us get ready to pray specifically for what we need to do. God Bless you all for your help, you don't know how much it means to us.

Have your "Pete" read the prayers listed on Praying for America---Through a Psalm of David" too, something tells me to ask you to do that. I don't know why, but I was moved to ask you to do so......

Thank you. SWMBO and I read it, and the psychologist who is working with "Pete" also read it. It may be too deep for "Pete" but we will read it with him, and talk about it, of course. The boy had not even seen a Bible, as far as we can tell, until he went to live with the wonderful foster family who are caring for him now, so his understanding is rather limited, so we will handle it slowly, but it is a good choice.
Thank you and God Bless.

I got a feeling that he will be able to understand, maybe not communicate the understanding but just observe, and watch. I think you guys will be in for an amazing miracle right before your eyes. The story reminds me of a song by John Michael Montgomery that is based on a true story entitled, "The little Girl". You should check it out. Christ knows his own. Have a great day!

You are seriously interfering with my Sunday Devotional. In the past two days, I have received in my daily devotional verses from the Psalms. Can I use them....no. Why? Because, someone else has taken the Psalms. :XD: :( :-(  8-)

Use them anyways! Hey praying the prayers twice, gives it more force. Do it, don't stop. Hey no no no! Maybe God meant it that way! Don't stop what you're doing! Keep on schedule. 150 days of Psalms is a hard thing to do, but don't stop because I posted it to day or tomorrow. May be God is trying to tell us something.....

At least, you are still in the lower numbers. I only use short verses, in any case.

I know he tells me what to use. I was all set one week. On a Tuesday, I had my verse and hymn. Oh no, so not going to let me use that. On Friday, up comes a verse that screamed, "This is it!" Then I had to work for a long time to find the right hymn. Sometimes the verse is easy, but finding the right hymn and finding it on YouTube are really difficult. :hunf:

It was bound to happen sometime that is why I say, use it anyways. My quest is to pray and get through them, partly because I want the prayers to be answered and partly because I want to see the result when I finish, but mostly to see if I can get through all 150 Psalms. 22 down 128 to go.

Sometimes God has other designs, so He puts forth a challenge to you. It's what you might call - discipline training. It's to keep you alert, ready for a change in course. It's good for you.

Hey, you remarked no one is visiting your Sunday Devotional, I was there this morning. AND, what about my Wednesday one? What am I - chopped liver! :XD: :XD: :XD: :XD:

I always visit your devotional! :!: I do not always comment.

If you are chopped liver, I could add a little finely diced onion, mayonnaise and have a nice spread, some slices tomatoes and cucumbers for lunch.
