A day started with a tiny prayer for all....

Dear Father above please save us from ourselves..Shine your light of love and protection through all of us and give us strength to face the challenges to come this day and the next..For those ill, heal them, for those angry, release their anger, for those in need, let them find You and for me, forgive my sins and please, keep me in your guidance...In the name of the Father, Son and Holy ghost, I ask and it is done~~Amen~

Although I see ranger has us all in the baby department. But not as a baby in Christ. He has much wisdom in that area. I wish I had his knowledge. Or even a quarter of it. I fell from grace and have been learning my way back in the scripture department. You all need patience with me. But I won't pray for that,I did that once. Boy,did I learn my lesson on that one. Lol.

I came to the party late this AM, my Psalm prayer first, now here.

I've told this before, but for you I will reiterate. My husband has OCD (obsessive/compulsive disorder). James tells us if we need patience, to ask the Lord for it. BUT, be careful, after He supplies the patience, He tests you to see how it's working. I ended up telling Him - 'You didn't have to start out trying me with so much did You?'

I lived in St Louis for 22 years and that was a really lucrative business since all the buildings and homes down town were brick and old.
When they would announce that one was being torn down, people from all over the world would bid on the bricks since they were mostly from the old Chicago Brick Co. and were, for some reason, wanted by builders more than any new brick.

Where I grew up, we had streets paved with those brick - but, the city planners, in their stupidity, paved over them.

Yes Old Chicago Brick were very popular down in south La. I have layed a bunch of them, trick is you have to soak them in water before you lay them they suck the moisture out of the mortar so fast you cant get them bedded and end up with big joint.

SEE, that's from experience. What would a newbie know about that?

They still have brick-like streets in St. Louis only they were made out of granite and will be there long after we are gone and in the Kingdom of our Lord.

If you read the book "Heaven is For Real." It tells about this girl, don't remember her name, or where she lives, but all the family were atheists. The Spirit came to her and her painting, she painted one of the Jesus she saw. Collin, the little boy in the book, saw it and said, "Yes, that's what He looks like."

I have one on the table beside my chair. I should bring it in here, I spend more time here.
