That was not my question. I've seen numerous opinions that even an hours-old one celled zygote is a baby and it would be murder to do anything to interrupt it's attachment to the uterine wall.
But as long as Trump says it's up to the states - and realize that in NY and a few others that means up to birth - then it's ok because Trump says it is ok. No one here is going to call him names for that?

A total ban on abortion is unlikely to get through many states/Commonwealths. It simply an untenable position. A better effort may be locating pregnancy health/help centers within a block of Planned Parenthood facilities.

If these politicians used what little grey matter they had, they would follow Senator Cruz’s example. His answer on the abortion issue was he was personally against it; however, SCOTUS had ruled and would have to abide by that ruling. This was back in 2015 when he was running for President.
Trump saying it is up to the states is in line with the recent SCOTUS ruling in Dobbs.
