One of the largest pro- Life groups are disappointed on President Trump stance on a******n...

If these politicians used what little grey matter they had, they would follow Senator Cruz’s example. His answer on the a******n issue was he was personally against it; however, SCOTUS had ruled and would have to abide by that ruling. This was back in 2015 when he was running for President.
Trump saying it is up to the states is in line with the recent SCOTUS ruling in Dobbs.
Yes! Unfortunately Demicrats don't want people to decide... that's the problem!

Unfortunately, way too many people rely on politicians to tell them what to think.

That is true. I was curious whether anyone was willing to express their disappointment with his change of position on it.
I'm not disappointed. I'm pro-choice with restrictions. There may be 50 different laws, with having 50 states or some states that may have the same laws. It'll be up to the people of that state as it should be. Not the big government. Not quite what anyone was expecting him to say.
I also think the Republicans know they could very well lose on this one issue. I'm not sure how people will react. We'll have to see. They need to follow their heart but have wisdom. He did bring up religion, morality, and faith. Also, if you don't want one, don't have one.
I realize there are going to be rethinking and questioning of his position now, but he may get a lot of young (especially women) v**es. Whether it is actually how he feels about that or not, I don't know. I've never talked about it with him.
But, I personally think it was an excellent move to take away the Democrats one card that can really hurt Republicans.
I just hope that the Republicans don't splinter anymore than they are at the moment.

I totally agree with your observations, Knightlady!! 👍 Did you know that Biden was pro- life at one point....Politicians are humans, we all change our minds on policies and other stuff.. Like me, personally I used to be pro- choice at one time, until I saw what happens during a******n..

That was not my question. I've seen numerous opinions that even an hours-old one celled zygote is a baby and it would be murder to do anything to interrupt it's attachment to the uterine wall.
But as long as Trump says it's up to the states - and realize that in NY and a few others that means up to birth - then it's ok because Trump says it is ok. No one here is going to call him names for that?
He never said it was okay. He said the states should decide. The people should decide. It won't be his decision. Isn't having states decide a good thing?

I never have nor will I. Same reason I don't watch golf. Don't want to. If a state wants to make a woman watch it before hand, then more power to them, IF that is what the people of the state want.
Biden was for segregation also. He didn't want the schools to become a "jungle"The left is pretty quiet on that.

I used to work for Planned Parenthood very long time ago and I saw what happens during a******n.. It's very ugly and very sad at the same time..

Trump can do nothing on his own.Total ban on a******n will never get through Congress. The SCOTUS has ruled it is up to each state. Pro life groups need to focus on their respective states.
Absolutely. Right now, Trump has to push it off on States rights. Good move, with a topic that is controversial to say the least. Just another policy where he could lose v**es, if he doesn't play it "SMOOTH". "Let the States decide" is a good move. He got Roe, leave it at that....until the e******n is over.

You're a little backwards here. Democrats DO want people to decide - for themselves. Not the government.

Good assessment. He said what he needed to say to lose the least amount of v**es over it. Threaded the needle quite cleverly.

I think having women decide for themselves or with their doctor would be a better thing.

Agreed. Good "political move". This group shouldn't be so naive.
