Yes I remember. Do you think I agree with everything said by every republican president says? If so, you’re assuming once again. I have voted for Dems in the past, third party candidates a couple of times, but found my personal choices to be more right leaning.

I researched the subject and found that not to be the case (at that time) according to a site that tends to lean left: FAIR.

Even white people take jobs that that they don’t want to do. So, it’s not just bidens illegals who have been taking pretty much American jobs that pay well, like in the housing, fire fighting market and others.

What different sites have been exposing is the number of children who have been taking the jobs you think are only going to Biden’s illegals. Even during the big depression, grown men were taking jobs in exchange for a hard days work.

I asked if you remembered when he said it. I did not say you agreed with what he said - I said I agreed with him. I still do. Many employers would much rather hire an illegal who will work harder for less money.

For letting them in? Asylum is still a thing here. I may have misunderstood what's happening, but aren't the people claiming asylum are presenting themselves at the border crossings?

But really - don't you think fining the employers would help? Not only would it generate money, it would give those employers a lot of incentive to work with the govt to fix the immigration problem.

No, they are not. Most are coming expecting and getting handouts from the socialist Democrat Biden.

Even that many illegals *per day* Biden wants to hand them is totally unacceptable.

We don’t have the funds to support Biden’s illegal invaders, to house them, to give them medical ins, to feed them the foods some demand to be given, to include them in our social security and Medicare/Medicaid benefits/etc too. That will only decrease the funds that Americans will be paid their own benefits much sooner. We are already looking at having our own benefits reduced much sooner. Vote no on supporting any of joes socialist ideologies.

Well, I don’t as millions of other Americans don’t want to pay for them either. It’s become hard enough under Biden just to support their own families. Immigrants, not Biden’s illegals, are expected to either pay their own way or have sponsors to help them out. Not to rely on our already over taxed American workers.

The majority came here falsely thinking they’d reached the world of milk and honey. It’s because their own government doesn’t offer them all the great freebies that our socialists here promise them. Benefits are clearly a draw for them to come here. That must end.

American families continue to struggle under rising costs due to the Biden Administration’s war on American energy independence. Instead of producing cleaner energy in the United States, President Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipelines, froze LNG export terminal approvals, has pushed a gas vehicle ban and depleted our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to its lowest since the 1980s, putting our national security at risk.

X Eggs are UP 49% since Biden took office.

X Gasoline is UP 38.8% since Biden took office.

X Transportation services are UP 35.2% since Biden took office.

X Electricity is UP 28.6% since Biden took office.

X Food prices are UP 20.9% since Biden took office

I was a census taker in 2020. I had a couple places that were houses supplied by farmers for their workers. I remember one very well because the mom spoke only Spanish and my high school French didn't help me converse. She was very welcoming, her 9 or 10 year old son was also there and he tried to interpret for me but I suddenly realized I could probably use my phone - and it worked! And she answered all the questions I asked. The Census Bureau had removed the question about citizenship so I don't know if they were here illegally it not but I know many if our area farmers employ workers who are not here legally.

Anyway, my point was that the hospitality and friendliness at this low income minority Hispanic house was more than I got at several very nice homes in the nicer section of town where I was sent that were owned by Caucasians.

There were two places (lower income rentals) I refused to go back to after being threatened by screaming guys - both were white and one almost attacked me but instead ran outside and past me.

People are people. Every person is a unique individual - though identical twins may be similar. 😊

I agree, people are unique and shouldn't be judge by color or culture. My sister and I got loss in Cin and stopped at a store to ask directions. We were told "we'd best take our white asses out of there". He doesn't represent all black men and I didn't ask him if he was here legally. Those are two different things.

That’s such a tired old excuse for illegal immigration. Pelosi and her stooges say it all the time to make it seem like republicans are against immigration. We’re not. This country allows more legal immigrants into it than all other countries combined.

Do you remember when Bush 2 said "They do the jobs most Americans won't do." ??

He was right, then and now.

Working in industrial meat packing plants; chicken /egg farms; dairy farms; race tracks or horse farms mucking stalls; riding garbage trucks; making beds and cleaning toilets in fleabag motels ... And the list goes on.

Most Americans might stick at one of those jobs for a few days. Weeks at most, before deciding it isn't worth it.

Besides, why would any employer be stupid enough to hire an American when he knows that an 'illegal' is probably going to work twice as hard for half the pay at those filthy back breaking tasks?

I don’t recall. Wouldn’t surprise me. That wing of the Republican Party likes to talk out of both sides of their mouth.

I think most are desperate for jobs and wind up getting exploited by unscrupulous employers. It's what happens around here at a lot of the large farms - dairy farm in particular.

But perhaps I'm just wearing rose-colored glasses.

Sounds like it. MOST is a big word. There is a hell of a lot in the big cities working as handymen and lawn care, and a hell of a lot MORE than that living off the government and/or organizing crime rings.

Democrats. A sensible plan does not increase their wealth or power. The old mojo that 'Republicans are racist' is loosing it's strength between Black folks opening their eyes and the Democrats being unable to hide THEIR racism, so they need another straw man. This is one they are trying out for size, hoping it will lead to more Dem voters.

I agree. Plus America does not need 10,000+ (and continuing to grow in numbers) illegals to grow our food nor mow our lawns. Especially not with so much of our food being handled via automation along with green cards already being handed out and as America imports more of our food/etc from other nations.

These invaders take American jobs, not only in our food industry, as the jobs Biden brags about creating but in some cases they are counted even when they’re only part-time jobs for American workers or as the states easing up on their Covid 19 regulations. I still remember the times when their dem party was pro-American workers, sadly not the same anymore.
