Tom, I believe your 'gut' to be right. Too many on the right accept elections as being fair and secure only when they win. In their way of thinking, losing automatically has them assuming that the election was rigged.

In most all presidential elections there have been objections to the outcome. And in most elections fraud has been accused and then cast aside with the always famous claim "some fraud was found but not enough to change the outcome". The 2020 election challenge took the investigation farther than it has ever went. And even though there were many irregularities and suspicion of fraud, there was not enough time to find the proof even though there was alot of evidence found that the courts did not want to take up, like most of the swing states changing election laws illegally by bypassing states legislature. Now it has been almost 4 years and some of that proof is now being brought forward.like in Georgia. Where a member of the Fulton county election board pointed out at least 5 problems he saw with the election which caused him and one other member not to certify the results. This proof and evidence has come out in Georgia due to all the problems about prosecuting Trump. There has been a trickling of proof from other states.as well but don't know if we will hear about any of it.
