I have been to NYC six times. Each time I liked it less, and I didn't like it worth a damn the first time.

Oh, no doubt. Pretty much ND to TX IS flat land with various crops.
I lived in Central NB and we always joked we could almost see the the town 30 miles away.

I live in Oklahoma...we tell the same jokes here. I live near some rolling hills, (rurally), and when you top one of them you can literally see a good 25 miles. There is another one of those rolling hills blocking the last 10 miles to the next town, (in this case city)...or you could see it too.

YES! I would totally live in NYC... for a year or two. As they say, not long enough to get hard.

One condition... I get to afford it. It's the same condition I would apply to any major city. If you have the money, yes - if not, no. America's major cities are like miniature USAs, where those with money are pampered and those without are dejected.

Since the Republican party is too "small town" to handle the diversity and scale of a major city, the urban zones have over time, turned to more liberal leadership and this has led to a cultural pastime where small town conservatives make it a point to showcase the dark sides of big cities. So, I get it. After all, those dark sides DO exist. But what the narrative always leaves out is that when you have enough money, the experience is actually quite different.

For me, NYC would be worth it if I made a salary over $150K.

So you say with a salary of over 150k you could enjoy it.

Problem is if I moved there I would no longer have my salary

A preposterous posit! No sane person, would even think of going there, much less, live there!

No Demo'rat controlled city in this nation is safe, from crime, & political criminalization!

Ahh yes, the good old days!
Still, it’s not as bad as the press reports. It’s just a whole lot weirder!

Nonetheless, we can’t completely abandon NYC or ANY city and allow these communistic super far left democrats to just take control.
Out here on Long Island, there are still more of us than there are of them, even though they are Well hidden and think we don’t notice them.

This topic, is a conundrum, in as much as N.Y. electorate seem to keep electing these horrid examples of

extremely poor GBMNT, Crooked, inept, & many have the "hate Trump mindset", & yet, not one has a

legitimate reason as to 'why"...." he has orange hair", he's a Liar, he is a womanizer...So much drivel, &

"occasionally", one or two of these idiot politicians, are drummed out of office, & replaced by another

almost as bad, or worse? All that would not be "so" bad, except Trump already proved he is the man for

the job! &...N.Y. just cannot seem to "get it together", in support of the Police dept! [&, much else]

I spent two years on the tip of Long Island, had to leave all my guns with my dad while I was there. I'm too much of a gunner to go back.

Well you will like Florida. A very nice place. Where crooks are the criminals .

=============

Maimi is the only place with so many crooks and thugs from Haiti, and other places.

Not going there. I have nephew there and his family. Not in Maimi. I'll get a gated community until Biden makes everybody live in complex apartment units with thugs, illegal aliens. While Barack owns 4 mansions, and Biden owns 2 mansions.

Then we worked so hard to own a property, Biden will confiscate them, and require us to live on apartments. I think I'll die, if required to live among those thugs. I've never done that before.

Therefore, we are in a communist country when that happens. No more Constitution! Biden will do that for his second term. Beware!
