"Trump was convicted of insurrection during his impeachment. Not punished by the Senate."
This line of yours is incorrect.

Three Presidents have been impeached, Andrew Johnson, William Clinton, and Donald Trump, none have been convicted. Think this way, the House is the District Attorney and the Senate is the Judge. The DA cannot convict but only bring to trial. The Judge weighs the evidence presented by the DA and makes a decision to convict or to not convict.
Here is your High School Government Class for toda... (show quote)

Since tfg was not convicted in the Senate, the American voters take over the role of judge and jury. Those who think he is innocent of insurrection, or at least that it doesn't matter, and like his "policies" can vote for him; those who think he is guilty of insurrection, or at least close enough, or don't like his "policies", can vote against him. It's the American way!

Do you believe Andrew Johnson also lost the presidency because the voters turned against him. His own party did not put him up for president but ran Horatio Seymour. Clinton termed out after his impeachment so we don't know if the public would have denied him. Both candidates in 2020 were not the cream of America. It is looking like we are going to repeat A Comedy Of Errors again this year. The end of the Empire is at hand.
I said nothing about the candidates other than to remind all that the Senate is the Judge in cases of impeachment.

Yes, let's outlaw the Democrat Party! Only the Republican Party is legitimate! All democrats report to the relocation camps! You have 48 hours to comply.

It was in jest. The fact that it could be taken seriously is of grave concern.

Hasn’t happened in either of our countries since the Japanese were rounded up.

Thank you for the clarification. In this environment filled with so many maga kooks, one can never be quite sure what is intended as humor and what is serious.

Not really considering it is your post. You are definitely way out in left field, lack common sense, and not well educated - just touching a few of your problems.

Reeducation of perceived deviants is something that some OPP posters would support.
