Currently, we could probably go three weeks and possibly four. If absolutely unequivocally we had no choice, we could use some of our emergency food supplies and go much longer.

Same here and we're well stocked on paper goods also.

Funny story. When the lockdowns began, there was a scramble for toilet paper. I could have made a fortune. Costco had had several alternate months with a coupon. I stocked up. Final count, I had over 150 rolls of toilet paper. I could have stood on a street corner and sold them for any asking price and sold them out.

How would you do?

I probably could go about 3 weeks with the food I have in the house now. That would mean no fresh milk, bread, veggies and fruit.

SHHHH, TOP SECRETE: If you have a good friend or relative that works for Walgreens you could cash in. Every other month or so for one day they offer 25% off all products to employees, that's how we stay stocked up. The sale day is announced a day before so you have to be prepared.

Impressive. You are much better off than 95 percent of the population.

I load up on canned goods , grow some veggies and also have emergency supplies! Have rice and flour and things I can make soup with! You can even get milk that sets on shelf! My sister had chickens and they should start laying again soon! I think the coldnpuckers up their butts!! God provides! Sometimes we forget

When one is raised in a multi generational household, one has learning advantages.

One secret is casseroles, tripling the recipe, and freezing the extra. Soups are filling and very freezable.

I will make this diatribe short.

If parents had not abrogated their responsibilities, as a parent, such would not be necessary.

I promised you it would be short.

My mom was a great cook and could make something from almost anything! Her homemade bread was to die for

She lived on a farm during depression! They always had food! Grandma always had chickens and a vegetable garden! She even made her own ketchup
