I haven’t been active on this site all that long and I didn’t realize Kemmer is gay nor do I care. We have come a long way in this country in my life time regarding gays. My daughter went to school with a kid whose name was Gay Jose. He flaunted his gayness and the kids were okay with it. When I was in high school he would not have done so well. There is still change to be made but why do so many gay men have to make freeks of themselves? If you don’t want people treating you differently don’t give them reason to.

Keep your sexual proclivities in the bedroom not in society,as we all should,and I don't agree with pedophilia or porno in schools or the public domain either. It's not about your choice to me it's about teaching little kids who very few would even think about changing gender if it wasn't shoved in their faces constantly,with that being said there are some kids who actually without provocation do struggle with that. They need counciling about how to deal with it. But no harmones which badly hurt their bodies for life until they are older and have gone thru puberty then it's their choice to do as they wish.

Have you ever been to Cherry Grove, Fire Island?
I have, picking up and returning clients for a private charter fishing boat.
It’s a whole community of ‘alternate lifestyles’.
They flaunt their sexuality with no inhibitions. Okay fine, that’s their town.
But don’t come walking into the other towns on a Sunday morning while the folks walk with their children to church. It’s just not respectful.
That’s what it all comes down to, Respect. Seems your illness blocks out that aspect of life, respect.
