This is all on tape. "Stop or I will shoot" clearly heard from the defenders of congressmen who were still in the room. Ashley does not abide by that order from Capitol Police, and attempts to climb over insurrectionists to a window over the door. She is shot dead. Tough to prove murder. Easy to prove stupidity.

Oh brother. So let me ask you-Just what should have been done to stop her attempted intrusion into a secure and clearly off-limits area? Wait till she and her followers broke through and threatened the lives of those in that secure area-which included both D’s and R’s, including some who now kneel at Donald Trumps feet? In all seriousness, it is true that some have said they heard no such warning. However, the tape is very clear. It does not make it any less painful, of course, for the families of those on BOTH sides who lost their lives. Non-lethal means like pepper spray would have been a more than adequate deterrent to have been used instead of having a nervous, trigger-happy killer ambush a non-combatant because he couldn't see that her hands didn't wield a weapon. If he wasn't hiding behind a pillar, he would have seen that she wasn't carrying a weapon. This is all nonsense to shield a minority from obvious homicide charges.
