Fedup there is a small group of us that already are awake. If ethics violations have occurred by any member of SCOTUS then they should be investigated and appropriate action taken regardless of whether they are conservative or liberal. SCOTUS is supposed to be the arbitrators of last resort. Did Democratic presidents make mistakes in choosing justices in recent years? I don't know. Did Republican presidents make mistakes in their SCOTUS Choices again I don't know. Right now the court is strongly conservative and finds for recent cases 6-3 I think. I don't know if expanding the court is a good idea at present. I do think there should be term limits for both SCOTUS and Congress besides elections but that is just my opinion.

Here’s how to get parity in the Supreme Court, every six years have a special election of six justices (include all the sitting judges plus six new faces from each established party including the independents) when there is a consensus on the top six, the remaining 3 justices will vet the candidates and then decide if they’re qualified for the position-their findings would be sent to a select panel of the Senate with the Vice President as the chairman who will then allow the President to make appointments. This would take an amendment to the constitution, but it’s worth the trouble as it would build a stronger court that is above reproach and develop a pool of well qualified justices 🤠
