NEW EVIDENCE OF INTENTIONAL DESTRUCTION OF IMMIGRATION SAFETY MEASURES
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—Attorney General Ashley Moody is revealing new evidence of President Joe Biden’s intentional destruction of the nation’s immigration system. Through legal efforts to stop the border crisis, Florida obtained U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement training videos showing that ICE officials are fighting a losing battle against illegal immigration because of Biden’s destructive policies.

The intentional tearing down of national safeguards will make it nearly impossible for the federal government to stop the possible invasion as experts predict as many as 14,000 immigrants a day may start pouring across the U.S. Southwest Border if Title 42 expires. While the administration may try to blame the expiration of Title 42 for the invasion, it is clear the Biden administration created this coming crisis through years of methodical destruction of public-safety immigration structures. The expiration of Title 42 would reveal just how vulnerable Biden’s presidency has left the country.

Attorney General Ashley Moody said, “Since day one of his administration, President Biden has purposefully broken down the structure and law enforcement at our nation’s border with Mexico—all while confusing and misleading the nation about this devious, reckless scheme. If Title 42 ends, the administration may blame the mass surge of unvetted migrants on this rule’s remission but don’t be fooled. They’re playing fast and loose with the lives of Americans to advance an absurd political agenda.

“As our litigation uncovered, this has been this administration’s plan all along. They’ve let in and lost track of hundreds of thousands of inadmissible immigrants, and it will get worse if Title 42 expires. We will continue our litigation efforts to force Biden to follow the law and try to mitigate this national disaster.”

It’s hard to know what to even say anymore about how Trump is turning up the volume on his Hitler-style rhetoric every week. Which is, of course, entirely by design. This is what Trump does: He normalizes his lies and his fascist rhetoric by sheer repetition. Matthew Sheffield at Doomscroll (I’m a guest on Wednesday’s episode) reminded me that this is exactly how Trump numbed everyone to the Big Lie before he tried to steal the 2020 election. For over a year before the election, Trump started to say it was stolen, so by the time the actual election came around, reporters were too bored and frazzled to run the 15th million version of “Trump is lying about the election again.”
The news media, especially in our 24 hour cable news cycle, thrives on novelty and takes. It’s just hard to know what to say about Trump saying immigrants “poison our blood” and that everyone who didn’t vote for him is “vermin.” You can say it’s fascist. You can say he sounds like Hitler. You can say he’s prepping his people for violence and genocide. But there’s not much more to say than that. This is not complicated.

And yet, we have to talk about it. We have to talk about it so it doesn’t get normalized. We have to talk about it so that the people who haven’t heard Trump is going full Hitler might actually hear about it some time before the election. We can’t hope that a few carefully placed discussions about Trump’s genocidal rhetoric will somehow reach the ears they need to hear. In political communications, you really need a firehose effect. Because otherwise, it will be missed by most people who are barely paying attention.

I’m not sure how to square that circle. I’m an opinion writer, so I’m caught in the trap. In theory, I should write about Trump’s fascism every day. In practice, the inability to find new and interesting things to say about it prevents me from doing so. The market and audience demands for the news to be new gets in the way.
This is why we can’t depend on the news media to get the word out. It has to be ordinary people telling each other. It has to be paid political advertising. It has to be door-knocking and social media posts. But the news itself is not going to do it.

Your inability to find new and interesting things to say has more to do with your lack of writing ability than anything else, Skippy. I notice, like most Pointy-Headed Progressive "opinion writers" you are long on conjecture and fabrication and damn short on cites and sources.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12881409/More-12-600-cross-southern-border-day-highest-HISTORY-migrant-record-smashed-Biden-thousands-waiting-Eagle-Pass.html

More than '14,000' cross the border in a day in in the highest 24-hour total in HISTORY

"U.S. apprehensions of migrants at the border hit a new record Monday, with at least 12,600 encounters during a period of just 24 hours.
Published: 10:44 EST, 19 December 2023 | Updated: 12:33 EST, 20 December 2023

The stunning spike comes as US Customs and Border Protection announced it would suspend rail operations at a pair of international crossings.

The agency pledged to continue to prioritize its 'border security mission' amid a situation it called 'evolving.'

The latest figures include 11,000 border apprehensions and an additional 1,600 migrants encountered at official points of entry, Fox News reported, based on CBP sources, edging past the prior record of 12,000 two weeks ago.

Texas Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales put the figure even higher, posting about the 'historic' numbers on X and saying there were 26,000 border crossers already in custody.

'Tuesday morning in Eagle Pass. 14,000+ crossed ILLEGALLY yesterday & 26,000+ already in custody - the HIGHEST in US history. Christmas Day will be WORSE. President Biden has abandoned border communities like mine,' wrote the lawmaker, who represents Hidalgo County.

CBP suspended the freight crossings in Eagle Pass and El Paso, Texas, in order to shift staffing to deal with the surging number of migrants.

Vehicular and pedestrian crossings at ports in San Ysidro, Calif., Lukeville, Ariz., and Eagle Pass, Texas have also been shut down in recent weeks.

The closures come as illegal migrant apprehensions in December are already up 30 percent over November. Last month the U.S.-Mexico border saw 130,000 attempts to cross unlawfully in the first 17 days of the month and there have been 167,000 attempts so far in December, according to NewsNation.

'After observing a recent resurgence of smuggling organizations moving migrants through Mexico via freight trains, CBP is taking additional actions to surge personnel and address this concerning development, including in partnership with Mexican authorities,' CBP said in a statement.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Monday set himself on a collision course with Joe Biden as he enacted sweeping powers to deal with the migrant crisis.

The laws will enable cops to arrest illegal migrants and allow judges to boot them back across the Mexico border. The Republican governor said it could slash the number of crossings by up to three quarters - but the Biden administration is bound to attack its constitutional legality.

It comes as 2,000 migrants are crossing the frontier everyday, with Texas bearing the brunt of the crisis. Biden has failed to confront the spiraling humanitarian disaster at the border and even received criticism from within Democratic ranks.

Opponents have called Abbott's measure the most dramatic attempt by a state to police immigration since a 2010 Arizona law - denounced by critics as the 'Show Me Your Papers' bill - that was largely struck down by the US Supreme Court.

The law will likely face a quick legal challenge by the White House, which has pushed back on the Governor’s previous attempts to reduce the flow of migrants.

The law, known as SB4, takes effect in March and allows any Texas law enforcement officer to arrest people who are suspected of entering the country illegally. Those who re-enter face penalties ranging from 180 days in jail to 20 years in prison.

Abbott, who signed the law in front of a section of border fence in Brownsville, Texas, predicted the number of people crossing illegally into Texas would drop by 'well over 50 percent, maybe 75 percent.' He did not offer evidence for such an estimate.

Once in custody, illegal migrants could either agree to a Texas judge's order to leave the US or be prosecuted on misdemeanor charges of illegal entry.

Migrants who don't leave could face arrest again under more serious felony charges.

Abbott accused the White House of doing 'nothing to halt illegal immigration.'

'Joe Biden's deliberate inaction has decimated America,' Abbott said.

'The consequences of [the new law] are so extreme that the people being smuggled by the cartels, they will not want to be coming into the state of Texas,' he said.

Abbott claimed 8million people have crossed the border illegally since Biden, a Democrat, took office in January 2021.

Abbott defended the new law as constitutional, saying Texas had been left to 'fend for itself.' Typically, immigration policy and enforcement have been the responsibility of the federal government. But several southern governors have taken the matter into their own hands saying Biden has dropped the ball.

Abbott said the bill passed by the Republican-majority Texas state legislature last month was needed to 'stop the tidal wave of illegal entry into Texas.'

Abbott said the bill makes it a 'criminal offense for illegal entry into Texas from a foreign nation.

'For repeat offenders it creates the offense of illegal reentry with a potential prison sentence term of up to 20 years,' he said.

The bill also 'provides a mechanism to order an illegal immigrant to return to the foreign nation from which they entered,' he said.

Migrant crossings have remained at roughly 2,000 per day within the Del Rio Sector with most of those being encountered Venezuelans, Hondurans and Colombians."

That does not change the amount of illegals that entered since Biden.
Shocking 3.8 million migrants have entered the US since Biden took office — 1.5 million sneaked in and are still here
Over the last three years, 2,345,600 people have been granted Notices to Appear (NTAs) before an immigration court, according to figures compiled by Syracuse University’s TRAC immigration database.

NTAs are issued to people who arrive on US soil, hand themselves in to Border Patrol and claim asylum. If they are deemed to potentially have a case, they are assigned a hearing — often years in advance — where a judge will determine if they can remain in the country or will be deported. The filings provide an accurate picture of the number of migrants entering the country.

Over 1.23 million of those NTAs were issued in the Department of Homeland Security’s financial year 2023 alone, which runs from October 1 to September 30.

Drug Cartels Are Coming to Every American Neighborhood, and Joe Biden Is Asleep on the Job
Back in May, Mexican drug cartels smuggled $5 million worth of fentanyl, including 300,000 fentanyl pills into the Bronx, before being caught by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

In January, following an eight-month investigation, the Department of Justice charged nine members of the Latin Kings gang in New Jersey with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, and with manufacturing untraceable gun parts to illegally create automatic weapons.

The current DEA Administrator has said that the Sinaloa and Jalisco Cartels, use “multi-city distribution networks” and “violent local street gangs…to flood American communities with fentanyl and methamphetamine, drive addiction, fuel violence, and kill Americans.” Because of the failed policies of the Biden administration, cartels can smuggle into the United States those who want to avoid apprehension by the U.S. Border Patrol. Since President Biden took office, the Border Patrol has reported over 1.5 million gotaways, who successfully evaded apprehension.

One of the violent street gangs that drug cartels employ is MS-13. Just last year, Nassau County residents were reminded of the dangers of MS-13 after the gang members who senselessly murdered 22-year old Carlos Rivas-Majano in Uniondale in 2017 were sentenced for their heinous crimes.

We know that MS-13 operates closely with the cartels, serving as their foot soldiers and human traffickers. And now they are taking advantage of Biden’s open border policies.

In Fiscal Year 2022, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehended more than 300 members of MS-13. With two months remaining in Fiscal Year 2023, they’ve apprehended another 150. With over 1.5 million known gotaways, we have no way of knowing how many more MS-13 members have successfully snuck through our porous borders and found their way to America’s neighborhoods, including in New York.
https://desposito.house.gov/media/in-the-news/drug-cartels-are-coming-every-american-neighborhood-and-joe-biden-asleep-job

Project Thor found that the problem of cartel weapons smuggling was far worse than previously understood. They estimated that cartels were trafficking between 250,000 and 1 million weapons every year, with a retail value of up to $500 million, not including ammunition and tactical supplies, according to intelligence analysis reviewed by CBS News.

The assault thing was pretty Kavenaugh-esque. All of a sudden someone starts squawking about an "assault" that happened thirty years ago and a special law was passed to temporarily suspend the statute of limitations for this one case. As for the overvalued property, numerous real estate pros have testified that the property was sometimes undervalued. Of course, everyone knows that a shitbag Liberal Manhattan judge knows more about real estate values than people who make it their career.

One would think that some jackass who worships cows and believes all his sins and character defects will be improved each time he is reincarnated until he becomes perfect, would keep his filthy mouth shut about someone else's. You're a hypocrite in all religions. And that wart covered, twisted dirty finger of condemnation you point at Trump is done so without knowledge if Trump ever sought forgiveness for his past transgressions. Truthfully, you hope he hasn't; you birds want him sent to hell and that's a measure how evil you Trump haters are. That's quite OK Nimrod, I expect it was far beyond your capacity to achieve understanding.

Anyone who's dumb enough to worship a heifer is quite unprepared to understand the abstract which even simple ancient pagans could conceive there was someone greater than man. God gave man the capacity to conceive that which he cannot see, the visible and the invisible. You were either shortchanged or found a comfort zone and just stopped looking.
